Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England. Wherever you are scattered across the globe, the glory is with you, the power is with you. Trust in the Lord. Never give up. There is a way forward. We thank you for praying with us. We thank you for walking with us. We thank you for partnering with us. And also we thank you that you never give up. We've got to tell you, don't give up. We're thanking you for not giving up. Come on. We've got to encourage each other because sometimes we want to give up. Sometimes we want to flick the electric off in here and go home and dive under the duvet and just say, Lord, enough is enough. But we can't do that. We've got to keep going. We've got to trust in

the Lord. So let's dive straight into prayer. We're going to go to Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 through to 6. Very powerful, very familiar scripture. And for those new listeners that are joining us, we thank you that you're joining us on the other side of the world. If you need to get us a prayer request in, you can find us on info at dailyprayer.uk or you can hit us up on the website dailyprayer.uk. Go and have a mooch around. Go and have a sniff around on that site wherever you are. Come, we're going to jump straight in, but can you leave us a review as well? Really important that you leave us a review. Also keep praying for us and hit us on that cheeky little uh button we got there. You know, buy us a coffee, just three pounds a month, because we are a listener-supported ministry, and that comes straight here into the studio to do everything that's got to be done. You know, we give Bibles out, and there is so much stuff that we do under the table that we don't jump up and down about and tell people. But let's just go straight in. And also before we sorry, sorry, sorry, before we go any further, if you need a Bible, if you need a Bible, hit us up in the studio, send us a message, info at dailyprayer.uk. We will get you a good old Bible. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all

your ways, submit to him, and he will make your path straight. Lord, I've just read a scripture that has just answered a prayer. Lord, I've got to submit to you. I've got to bring myself to the cross. I've got to get to this cross. And Father, this cross in this studio, as I look at that cross over Alex's shoulder, Lord, I thank you for the cross of Calvary. And Lord, we thank you for the power of the cross of Calvary. Lord, we're not lifting up the cross as in an area of worship. We are looking at the cross and it is reminding us of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And Lord, I thank you that it is Jesus that will make our path straight. So Lord, as we look at that cross, the power of the cross, Lord, I thank you for Calvary. I thank you that Jesus went to the cross and you are the way, the truth, and the life. And we pray for all the listeners today that the love of God, that we all will trust in the Lord, that every one of us will trust in the Lord. And Father, we thank you for Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 through to 6. We trust in the Lord with all of our heart, and we lean not on our own understanding. In all of our ways, we submit ourselves to you. And you and you, God, will make our path straight. Today, Lord,

can you straighten out those lines that are zigzagging all over the place? Will you straighten out this pathway, Lord? I've got more curves in it that I can count. So, Lord, I understand now that I've got to submit. I've got to come to the cross and I've got to say, Father, I'm sorry, but I need you, Jesus. Will you stop the craving of the world? Will you stop the noise of the world in my head, Lord? I want to hear the gentle voice of God through the scripture. I need to hear the whisper of heaven. I need to hear the heartbeat of the Father. I've got to get in the word more. So I pray for every one of us as we're praying together for these commuter prayers that we will get in the word of God, that we will saturate ourselves in the scripture, and we will open up the word of God in the morning, in the afternoon, in the van, uh, in the staff room, wherever we are, we will open up the word of God, and I pray that we will get straight into the word and we will pray the scripture. So Lord, whatever scripture we're in now, and I thank you that we are in Proverbs 3, verses 5 through to 6, that I trust, that we trust, that all of us trust with all of our heart. Help me to trust with all of my heart every fibre of my innermost being. Lord, not just with one eye, one arm, or one leg. I

Life Application: Trust Over Understanding

want to trust you with all of myself, with everything in my life. I need to trust you. So Lord, I ask you that you will help me to trust you with all of my heart, and I will not lean on my own understanding. The idea, God, will not go on my educational understanding. I will not go on the money that I might have in my pocket. I won't go on the strength of Elim as a denomination. I won't go on the strength of the materialistic world, but I will go on the word of God. I won't go on on any human understanding. I will go on in the name of Jesus. So, Lord, we make this a life application today, and we submit our ways to you. We trust in God's guidance, faith in uncertain times, wisdom for decisions, patience in waiting, courage to obey for God's direction. Lord, we need courage to obey God's direction, peace about the future, discernment over his voice, that we won't listen to the lesser voice, but we will listen to the only voice, the voice of the Father, the voice of the Word of God, that we will hear the heartbeat of God, the power of the word, that where we will find joy in obedience, confidence in God's faithfulness. And Lord, can we can we shout this across the airways today? That every morning, every hour, every moment, that I tell the world, I make this a life application, that Lord, I trust with all of my heart. Lord, I'm gonna trust you with all of my heart. I'm gonna take that leap, that step of faith, and I'm gonna

trust in your unfailing love. I'm gonna trust that I'm bloodwashed and sanctified. We're gonna trust in the scripture, and we're not gonna lean on our own understanding anymore. We're not gonna go dig on what the world is saying, we're gonna go on what the word is saying. So, Father, bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Let them feel the power, the glory, the love, the mercy, the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Let them walk in righteousness, steadfastness. Lord, increase their faith, increase our faith. Bring us to the cross of Calvary. And Lord, let us come to an understanding that we are not gonna lean on ourselves, but we're gonna lean on Jesus, not on the intelligence of the world, not on materialism. We're not gonna listen to social media, we're not gonna follow the crowd, but we're gonna follow the King. Oh Jesus, we want to be remembered for following the King, not the crowd. So, Father, bless the listeners today, wherever they are, in the name of Jesus Christ, may the Spirit of God fill you to the full measure. May you overflow with anointing and power and the love of the word. May you feel his presence in your heart, your mind, your body, your soul. And as you face the gliaths of life, just tell the gliath, I come in the name of the Lord. May the Spirit of Lord carry you. Thank you and bless you wherever you are. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. We will speak to you tomorrow in the name of Jesus. Don't give up until tomorrow.
