Thank you for joining us today on a daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. As we gather around the Word of God, as we lift one another up on the other side of the world, we pray for you, you pray for us. You know, we're partnered together through the power of prayer. As the great writer writes so clearly in the New Testament, I can't be with you in bodily form, but I'm with you in spirit. That's how we're connecting. Come on, connect with us at the cross, connect with us through the prayer times, connect with us through this podcast.
Wherever you are, I pray that God will sustain you and He will restore you from sickness, from pain. There will be breakthrough right now, and we will see the kingdom advancing in your life and my life because we've got to get serious now. You know, Jesus Christ is coming back, He's coming back. We're waiting for the rapture of the church, eschatology. The king is coming. You know, the king is coming back, he's coming back so soon. That's why everything is wonky, that's why everything is failing, that's why everything is crumbling, because the spiritual temperature and the atmosphere is so strong. That's why we're so weary and we're tired. Because the temperature of the of the spiritual realm, the press of everything, there is warfare. There is warfare like we've never felt it nor we've seen it. But there is power in prayer, and I pray that we will pray like Daniel, that we will pray and pray and pray. Even when the world tells us you can't pray, what are you praying for? You know, never give up in prayer. Come on, let's get straight in. But quickly, before we go any further, if you need us, you want to send us an email, info at dailyprayer.uk. If you want us to pray for something, if you've got an issue that is uh quite private, we'll pray for that in our prayer room. You know, God is here, God is with you, God is omnipresent, God is
omnipotent. But
without further ado, we're jumping into Psalm 41, the prayers of David, Psalm 41, verse 3. If you can support us, hit that button, hyperlink, buy us a coffee, pray for us, stand with us, walk with us, but also leave us a review. This is what the Bible says. The Lord sustains them, the Lord sustains them on their sick bed and restores them from their bed of illness. Oh my Jesus, oh my God, Spirit of the living God. I want to fill your Holy Spirit today. Lord, we want to fill the Holy Spirit tonight. We want to fill the Holy Spirit of this hour. Lord, because we're on our sick bed. We're on our sick bed and our feet are aching. Lord, we can't get out of the bed, whether that might be chronic illness, whether that's fatigue, whether that's mental health issues. We can't get up. We just want to stay under the duvet and just wither away, God. But you, dear God, you tell us something different in the word. And as we pray, as brothers and sisters with the power of the Holy Spirit, Lord, I've got to tell you something today, Jesus. Enough is enough. The listeners and myself, we're telling you, Jesus, we need breakthrough. We need breakthrough, God, where we're not strong enough, we need breakthrough. Where we're scared and we're not good enough at that, we're scared and we're weary. Where our faith may almost be empty, the bucket of faith has a hole in it today, Lord. Lord, it feels like my faith has dropped out of these boots. It feels like, Lord, the pressure of the world is winning.
It feels like, Lord, religion is beating at the door. It feels like I'm not getting nowhere, and everybody else is. It feels like, Lord, you've left us. It feels like you've left me. It feels like, God, what is the purpose? But then I get a hold of the word of God and I don't listen to my tongue anymore. I don't listen to my crazy head anymore. I say, get out of the bed, Ben. Get up, get to work today, get behind the mic today, get behind the pulpit, get behind the shopping trolley, get the shopping in, get your car sorted, get yourself sorted, get your head sorted, get out, get out of the house, get out of the bed, get out of religion, get out of that trap, spirit of the living God. You tell us that the word is alive, sharper than a double-edged sword. We got to get out and get up in the name of Jesus. We got to get off the sick bed. Lord, you tell us that you're gonna get us off the sick bed. You're gonna restore us, Lord, from our sick and pain and worry and fear. Come on, God, let your let's hear, let's hear the word, let's see the word, let's feel the word, let's walk in the word. Come on, Jesus, we're tired. Lord, if we're on the sick bed, I got no energy. If I'm on the sick bed, I ain't got a brain space. If I'm on the sick bed, I'm overwhelmed with worry and distress. If I'm on the sick bed, mortality is hitting the bell loud. Lord, if I'm in the sick bed, Lord, I ain't got the strength to think about you. So Lord, there comes a point in our lives, Lord, when we're saying, God, come on. Come on, God, I ain't got the energy to dance the church dance. I ain't got the energy to put my church teeth in. I can't pick up the guitar, I can't pick up the word. I'm weary, I'm tired. I need the God to do his work in my life. I need you to carry me. I need you to anoint me. I need my God that will provide for me. Lord, I you gotta put food on the table. You've got to feed the kids. Lord,
we're tired, we're hungry. Lord, we're in trouble today. We need freedom in the name of Jesus. Bring freedom to the heart, the mind, the body, the soul. Spirit of the living God, sustain us, heal us, carry us, walk with us. Do what you gotta do, God, but Lord help us. Get us off the sick bed in the name of Jesus. Get us off this sick bed wherever we are scattered across the world. Lord, I want to tell the world, watch me do it. Watch me do it right now. Watch me do it. Watch me rise up. It's gonna take everything. I'm gonna break through the pain. I'm gonna throw the wheelchair away. I'm throwing these crutches away. I'm throwing it all away. I'm coming to Jesus because if you're real God, you've got to catch me when I fall. Lord, when I get off the bed, Lord, if I ain't got the strength, you've got to send angels. You've got to deploy angels so that I won't strike my foot on the bed. Spirit of the living God, when I drop, when I fall, Lord, you've got to catch me. Lord, because we've had enough now, Lord, and we want our God. We want our king. We want the word. We want the power. We want the anointing. We want the gifts, the fruit of the spirit, the joy of the spirit. God, we're empty. The tank is empty. Lord, the vessel of life. We're run out. We're spent out. We got no more money. Lord, we got issues of blood, just like the lady did. And Lord, there's a crowd around Jesus. There's a crowd around Jesus. And I gotta get to Jesus. If I can't get to Jesus, I'm not gonna be healed. If I can't get to him, but I'm on my sick bed. If I can't get to him, how do I get to the king? Help me get to the king's garment, Jesus. Help me, God, help us get to the king's garment wherever we are. We need an abundance of breakthrough financially. Lord, we need you to restore us
right now. Lord, the supply chain has been cut. Lord, we haven't got it, but we need it. Father God, we need a spiritual awakening. Lord, promotion, promotion, promotion in the kingdom. God, we want to be promoted. We want to get off this sick bed. We want divine health. We want divine healing. It is our birthright. It is our we want it, God. We're coming right now in the name of Jesus. Lord, we're not going to stop. Lord, we're not going to stop. Lord, you don't, don't you walk away, Jesus. We need your word. We need your power. Lord, don't turn your back on us, God. Don't you walk away from me, God, because I've give you everything. I've given you everything. I've laid it down on the table. And I'm returning now, God, and I want you, Lord. We're coming back to the house of the Lord. Sorry, Lord, we've laid with pigs. Lord, we've walked with swine. We've eaten out of the trough of life. We're coming back, Lord, because the prodigals have come to their senses. We're coming back to the Father's house. And I can't find a scripture where the Bible says that the son of the prodigal, the son, the prodigal son, I don't find anywhere there's where there's a reference where the father walked away from him. The Bible says that the father ran to the prodigal son. The father ran to the son that was tired and weary. The prodigal son, he was exhausted. He smelt. He was eating with pigs. He was sleeping with pigs. He was covered in everything. But the God that he served started running to
him because that's what the story's about. It's not really about his earthly father, it's about the God that saw him at the trough of life. Come, Holy Spirit, we're at the trough of life. We need Jesus. Lord, we need you in our lives, God. We need to get out of the pig style. We've got to walk in favor. We got to get back to the Father's house. Bring us, God, to a place. Spirit of the living God. Get us away from the trough. You tell us, Lord, that you sustain us in all things, that you've got to restore our life. Lord, this is not our story. This is what you've written to us. This is your word to human beings. This is your story. Come on, God. Get us out of the trough. Lord, I don't want to heat. I don't want to eat with these pigs anymore. I don't want to walk in this field of nothing. I want to walk in the kingdom. I want to see the dead raised. I want to hear that the deaf are hearing. Come, Lord. Bless the listeners today across the world in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Fill them to the full measure. I'm sorry that I run over. Until tomorrow. God bless you.
