SPEAKER_00

Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast. Myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England. Wherever you are, may the power of God be over you. We are here in this studio where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. You know, the Spirit of God is over your life. God is with you. He is restoring your life. He is restoring your soul. And today's prayer, it's prayer time that we're together, is really, really important. We're in the Psalms of David, we're in the prayer of David, Psalm 23. We've gone through one, two, and now we're hitting three. Psalm uh 23, verse 3. He is going to restore our souls. You know, the prayer for healing and renewal and restoration. We want to hear the shepherd's heart. Do you want to hear the shepherd's heart? It's not the heart of David we want to hear, it's the heart of the good shepherd. His name is Jesus, and Jesus

Prayer Begins: God Restores Our Souls

SPEAKER_00

We're in Psalm 23, verse 3, and we are in our commuter prayer today. Whether you're running to the coffee machine, whether you're eating a cheeky bowl of Kellogg's, cornflakes, whatever you are doing, maybe you're at McDonald's drive-thru, having a lovely little bit of munch eh at McDonald's, wherever you are. Come on, let's get in in the name of Jesus. Father, we thank you, Lord Jesus. Lord, even though when we're at McDonald's, Lord, we can pray. We're at work, we can pray. When we're at school, we can pray. When we're under surgery, we can pray. Wherever we are, on the road, in the road, at school, wherever we are. I thank you, Jesus, that prayer is everywhere. And Lord, I thank you for my church family. I thank you, Lord, for my prayer family. I thank you, Lord, for the daily partners. I thank you that people are partnering with us in prayer and standing with us wherever they are today. But Lord, take us deep into the Word of God. Lord, we need our hearts restored. We need our souls restored. This is a prayer for healing and renewal in the name of Jesus Christ. We believe in miracles. So, Father, I pray right now, as I read this scripture out, wherever the human beings are, wherever the prayer family is right now, wherever those born-again, spirit-filled brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, whatever they are doing, Lord, as I read this from Psalm 23, verse 3, I pray that they will feel the fire of God in their belly. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Father, I need you today. Lord, we need you today, from the drive-through to the locker room, from the locker room to the school playground, from the playground to home, wherever we are, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, we need our God and our King. You need to refresh us today as we sit in the van. Lord, as we fly across the world, as we commute, as we take the children to school, as we walk and do the shopping, when we live our lives, when we're just doing life, God, we need you, Jesus.

Relying On The Shepherd’s Heart

SPEAKER_00

Father, Lord, I pray right now that we won't put our reliance on social media. We won't rely on the uh the rhythm of church, but we will rely on the rhythm of the shepherd's heart. Lord, I want to hear the shepherd's heart today. I want to feel the power of God. I want to feel your goodness. Lord, I pray when hearts grow weary and minds feel heavy, that faith runs over. Lord, let our faith run over. Lord, put us into super overdrive. Lord, we thank you that we serve a supernatural God. I pray that there is abundance, Lord, right now in the flock. I pray, Lord God, that the shepherd never leaves a sheep. So Lord, I thank you that we're never left. We're not orphans. But right now, Lord Father, we need that good shepherd to bring us back into the fold. Lord, you restore our soul. My God is promising so much to you right now. When you feel like your life is drained, when you feel like you're exhausted, when you feel weary and tired, my God is reaching down from heaven's glory and he is restoring you. He is rebuilding you. He is making you whole. You are on the potter's wheel and he is shaping you. The master is shaping you. The shepherd is with you. Father, we pray that you will give us clarity when confusion comes in. You will give us peace in turmoil. Lord, that you will restore a gentle yet powerful flow through forgiveness, worship, and stillness. Lord, you tell us that you restore. You tell us that you are the redeemer. You tell us that you are the king. So today, Lord, wherever we are, strengthen each and every one of us. Lord, as this hour ticks away, Lord, we want to go forward in restoration. We want to go forward in strength. We want to go forward being wise.

Declaration Of Renewal And Closing Blessing

SPEAKER_00

We want to go forward being devoted to the word of God. We want to live our lives in rest and peace. And we want to be led by the Holy Spirit. We do not want to be led by the way of the world. We want to be led by the shepherd. We want to listen to the shepherd's heart. We want to feel the presence of God. Lord, we thank you for Psalm 23, verse 3. He restores my soul, he guides me along paths of righteousness for his namesake. And as we pray, Lord, thank you that suffering is no more, fear is no more, weary, anxiety, and stress is no more. We thank you that the believers online are listening to the sound of our voice. They are moving forward, not in despair, but in forward motion hope right now. Father, Lord, I pray, Lord, bring the emotional healing to our hearts today. We cry out, Lord, wherever we are, may the power and the glory of God be over your heart. And let's ask God, Father, today, we want to feel the renewing presence of the Holy Spirit. So we declare to every ear, every eye that is watching, every heart that is receiving, my soul is restored, my path is renewed, and my hope is in Christ alone. May the God that we serve, may the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords restore your soul. He's guiding you along paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Just remind yourself in his prayer moment that you belong to Jesus and the Holy Spirit is with you. You are not alone. He loves you, he will not forsake you. He is restoring you. It looks odd, you're tired and you're weary, but Jesus Christ is carrying you. He loves you so much. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Thank you for joining us today on this daily prayer podcast.
