Psalm 23 And Courage To Walk

SPEAKER_00

of Jesus Christ. We're in Psalm 23, we're in a series that we put together for prayer for these quick-fired prayers, and the series is the rhythm of the shepherd's heart, the heart of God. I want to tell you right now, we might be in the valley, but let me tell you it's a shadow. I want to tell you now it's a shadow. Psalm 23, verse 4. As we lock shields of prayer right now, come on, we all know this one. Come on, don't you give up on me. Don't you give up right now? Don't you give up? Don't you let it get to you anymore. Come on, you're walking. Come on, put the left foot in right in front of the right foot. Keep walking, don't you give up. Keep walking. Don't worry about what the world is saying. Don't worry about what is happening in your life. Don't live by emotions, live by faith. But you keep walking. Because let me read this to you wherever you are. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23, the prayers and the psalms of David. Oh Jesus, I pray, Lord, for those that are not able to walk.

Praying Against Fear And Paralysis

SPEAKER_00

Lord, they're paralyzed by fear. Fear has grabbed them. Lord, also they are physically unable to move because of sickness and disease. So Lord, I pray for those that feel like they're they're anchored in the valley of darkness. I pray, Lord, that you will tell the devil to get out in the name of Jesus. Where the listeners feel that they got no voice, where the listeners are so run down and so tired and so exhausted. Lord, I pray, Lord, as we all walk together, and Lord, if we look to the left and the right, we will see each other because we're walking through the same valley. Because we're walking through the same mud and the mire. We're walking through the same quicksand. We're walking through the same concrete. So Lord, I pray right now for every ear, right now, in the name of Jesus. Lord, even though I walk through the valley, the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they

comfort me. Lord, I want to tell the world that I'm in a valley. And right now, this is a prayer of courage for your sister. This is a prayer of courage for your brother wherever you are. I want you to be encouraged today through this prayer time. I want you to stand up and to be strong in the name of Jesus. David's confession, I will fear no evil. Come on. Let's not allow the darkness to rob our promises. Let's not allow the fear of life to hold us back. Father, I pray that fear fades and the new sun rises on our lives. I thank you, Lord, that we're just on a journey. Lord, that each and every one of us is in a valley and we can see each other, Lord. We lock shields of faith together in the valley. Lord, whether we're going through grief, whether we're going through loss, uncertain days, mental battles and war, whatever we are going from, wherever we are going from and wherever we are going to and wherever we are, physically, spiritually, mentally, we pray that as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I want to tell you it's a shadow. I want to tell you right now, the enemy has no power because it's all smoke and mirrors in the name of Jesus. And we believe in the fire of God. We believe that fear is going. We believe that fear is gone. We believe that our God is greater than any devil in hell. We believe that the devil is under our feet.

Light Over Darkness And Faith

SPEAKER_00

Lord, when fear whispers in the dead of night, Lord, we're going to remember that the light of the shepherd never goes out. I want to tell you that the light of the world, Jesus says, I am the light of the world. When God created the heavens and the earth, what was the first element that he created? Tell me, sisters and brothers, you will find it very clearly in Genesis chapter 1, verse 3. And God said, Let there be light. Let me tell you right now, through science, through prayer, as we speak about science in a prayerful way. The Bible is extremely clear what it says about light, but I want to tell you what science says in prayer. Science is very clear, and it says this darkness only exists because of the absence of light. Let me tell you that you are carrying the light of the world. And darkness is only around because we haven't walked into the dark room. But when you get in the dark room and you might think you're in a dark situation, and actually it's not dark because you're carrying light in the name of Jesus. You're carrying fire, and the anointing of God is with you. And as we pray together right now, it's only a shadow over your life. It has no power, it has no strength. Even though we walk through the darkest valley, we're going to fear nothing. We're going to have no lack in our lives. Father, we pray, Lord, that grief and pain and worry will go. We pray for the persecuted church, war-torn nations at the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for the restoration of mental health. We pray for the battlefield of life, the battlefield of the mind, the battlefield of anxiety, the battlefield, dear God, of uh depression. Lord, empower us today. Fill us so our cup overruns. Lord, we need Jesus. We need the Spirit of the living God. But we want to tell the world today that we believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And we're thankful, Lord, because we are walking in greatness. We are walking in power. We're walking in anointing. And the Spirit of the Lord is over your life. When you feel that you are surrounded by darkness, when you feel that the lights have gone out, shut your eyes and walk by faith. Because the Bible says the just shall live by faith. We don't live by sight, we live by faith. We don't need the light of the world because you've got the light of Jesus Christ in your life. And I want to declare this over each and every one of us. When fear and evil comes in, I want to hold on to the shepherd. I want to hold on to the shepherd. Because the shepherd is my Jesus. Sisters and brothers, I tell you right now that He is your comfort, He is your rock, He is your shield, He is your Jehovah Jirah. And I ask you right now to find the rhythm of the Word of God, the shepherd's heartbeat, the rhythm of the

shepherd's heart. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Thank you for joining us today on this daily Christian prayer podcast. May God bless you and carry you in the greatest name in heaven and earth. Keep walking in Jesus' name. Amen.
