Thank you for joining us today on a daily Christian prayer podcast recorded here live in London, England, where faith meets the world in prayer and global hope. Come
on, never give up. We're in Psalm 23, verse 6. But before we go any further, if you need to send the prayer in, please hit us on the email account. It is info at dailyprayer.uk. Also, have a peruse, have a rummage around the website. It is dailyprayer.uk. But brother and sister, I want to tell you right now, God is calling you to greatness. Don't ever give up. Don't let the valleys and the trials and the tribulations don't allow situations to grab a hold of you. Look, we're locking shields of faith. We're all walking through Psalm 23. This psalm, you know, is a beautiful psalm. It is a prayerful way to get us through the day. And this series that we're in, these six prayers that we're pushing out today, they got a simple title, and it's The Rhythm of the Shepherd's Heart. Let's ask the rhythm of God. Say, God, we need the rhythm of God. We need this rhythm. Because Lord, we're
tired. But you tell me, God, in Psalm 23, verse 6, surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Father, I pray today that your goodness and love will follow the listeners all the days of their lives. I pray today that goodness and mercy and favor will follow them all the days of their lives. Whether they're at work now, whether they're hearing the alarm clock going off, whether they're cooking the children's food, whether they're taking the children swimming, picking them up from school, driving in the van, commuting across the world, whether they're walking the dogs, whatever they are doing in life, whether they're sitting at their desk at work, whatever the listeners are doing, I thank you for their lives. I pray, Lord, that you will bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. And Lord, that you will let them know that this prayer of David,
Psalm 23, verse 6, is for them today. I want to tell you, listeners, wherever you are, that the goodness of God is with you. It's not as bad as your mind is telling you. There is freedom in the Father's heart. I pray that you will find the Father's rhythm through the Word of God. Wherever you are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the playground, from the playground to the studio, from the studio to life in general. Wherever we are, we pray that the fire of God and the love of God, it will follow you all the days of your life. I want to tell you that the love of God is with you. I want to tell you that the New Testament tells you this through prayer. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. My God shall supply all of our needs according to thy riches in glory. And as the Lord is calling us to his house, sisters and brothers, I pray that you will feel the love of Jesus over you, that you will be healed from cancer, heart disease, motor neuron disease, MS, depression and fear. For those that are going through the valley of the shadow of death right now at this moment, that you will realize that suicide is not part of the plan. I want to tell you right now, depression is not part of the plan. Lack is not part of the plan. So wherever you are, you hold on to the hem of the garment of Jesus. Don't you ever give up. Don't you ever give up. Don't you think those thoughts in the name of Jesus?
I want to tell you right now to hold on to the cross of Calvary. I want to tell you to hold on to the word of God. Even though you walk through the valley of the darkest, I want to tell you, even though you walk through the valley of the most evilest, as you even walk through the valley of the despair, as you walk through the valley of trouble, of fear, of doubt, I want to tell you, don't you give up. Like that lady with the issue of blood, she had been spent out, everything had gone, everything had been worn out. She didn't have a pound in her pocket. All was spent out. The doctors couldn't help, the world couldn't help. She was ostracized. She was put out of the city. Do you know what? You might be put out of the city, I might be put out. We might not have a pound in our pocket, but there is something powerful about touching the king's hem. Don't you ever give up. You run to Jesus, you run to the cross of Calvary. Because I want to
tell you now, as the psalmist says, surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life, and you are going to dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Nothing can take you away from Jesus. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. I want to tell you now, the shepherd's song, it ends in triumph, it ends in victory. Surely your goodness and your love will follow me. God is following you. Jesus is leading you. God is following. The Holy Spirit is living in your heart. You are free. The shepherd is in full charge of your life. Wherever you are, you're going to dwell in the house of the Lord forever. God has made a place for you in heaven. Within a twinkling of an eye, he says, You'll be with me in paradise. You are not rejected. You are grafted in. You're going to dwell. You are dwelling in the kingdom of God. I pray that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. I pray that you will feel the Father's heartbeat, that you will press into the scripture wherever you are. Thank you for joining us today.
But let's tell the world around us, let's tell the world that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer, that Jesus Christ saved my life, that the God of Israel poured out salvation over our lives. I want to tell you right now, hope is not fragile, it is eternal. Live today with a view of heaven. Live today with a view of the kingdom of God. Let's declare as we bring this to a close in prayer, the goodness and mercy of God will follow you. I will dwell securely in the house of the Lord forever. Let's dwell in the Father's house. Maybe we're like the prodigals. Father, we pray for the prodigals that are living with pigs, that are trying to eat from the pig style of life. Lord, I pray for every one of us that has been, that is a prodigal, because we're coming back to the Father's house. We're making our way back to the Father's house. And in this prayer time, I want to tell you the Father was running to the prodigal. Jesus is running to me, and Jesus is running to you. Wherever you are, don't you ever give up. You stand on the word
of God. If you need to send us in an email, if you need to talk, we are here. Hit us up in the studio at infoddailyprayer.uk. Alex will pick it up. We will get it back to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you today. And remind yourself don't you ever give up in the name of Jesus. Keep praying. Keep walking. God is with you. Until tomorrow.
