SPEAKER_01Thank you for joining us tonight wherever you are scattered across this world. The power of God is with you. We thank you for joining us for this uh live stream. And wherever you are, we just got ourselves comfy. We are getting uh really comfortable sitting in these chairs at this moment, but we want to welcome you, all those that are on RB Christian Radio, and all those that are on live stream at this moment, and for those that are downloading the podcast, we are so grateful for everybody that downloads the daily prayers. You know, they are getting some serious traction across the world, and may God bless you wherever you are tonight. You know, we are living in very, very precarious days. We are living in very powerful days, we're living in very interesting days, and
anxiety is extremely higher, fear is higher. But as we gather around the word of God tonight, we want to welcome everybody across the world and wherever you are capturing this service from, wherever you are linking in tonight, whether you're on podcast, radio, you know, we're gonna dive straight into the book of Ephesians.
We're gonna go to the book of Ephesians and we're in Ephesians chapter six, and we're gonna pick it up in verse 10. I want to encourage you to be strong in the Lord and his mighty power. We are living in perilous days. We are living in days where anxiousness is extremely high. We're living in days where fear is really high. We're living in days where uncertainty is really high. But we want to encourage you, wherever you are across the world, to let God lead you and the way forward, you know. What is the way forward, Rev? How do we get through this life? You know, we can't be reliant on the government, we can't rely on situations that we're in, we can't rely on certain human beings in our lives. What we've got to do is we've got to strengthen ourselves in the Lord. It is now a time for us to strengthen ourselves in the Lord, and I believe you probably guessed where I'm gonna go in just a few moments with this bit of a conversation that we got here. The only place that I'm gonna find strength, the only place that I'm gonna deal with ADHD, anxieties, fears, doubts, you know, all that sort of stuff in my life, you know, OCD. How do we deal with this stuff? How do we deal? What I've got to come to a
clear understanding is that there is a spiritual battle, there is a battle, the biggest battle that we've been in since the cross of Calvary. It is not a physical battle, it is not a battle that we have to fight with human hands, you know, depression and suicide. It's so high, despair is so high, doubt is so high, you know, self-worth, you know, it is so low. You know, we have lost our understanding of ourselves, we have lost our uh characters, we have lost who we are in Christ Jesus, and we want to encourage you right now this evening, wherever you are across the world. I want to encourage you to get in the word of God. Maybe you're new to this live stream, maybe you're just downloading these podcasts wherever you are in this beautiful world this evening, but we want to encourage you to be a Jesus follower. It's not as easy as that. I understand what you're saying, but I actually believe what the Bible says that salvation comes to those who God calls. And you're not here by chance, you're not listening to this by chance, you're not here just because it's a coincidence, you're not listening to it because you just know me. God is calling you tonight. God is calling wherever you are, scattered across the world. Yes, life is hard. He sees your tears, he sees your pain, he sees your heartache, he knows who you are. But you may have, we I may have, Alex, whoever we are this evening, we have may have lost our identity in work, in life, in family, in marriage, in life. Maybe we're looking at the future and we're quite scared, we're quite worried about what is out there in front of us. Maybe we're uncertain of what lies ahead. Maybe we're just tired of the humdrum of life. Maybe we're just fed up, you know, with life itself. But I want to encourage you to get dressed, get ready, you know, get yourself ready. How do we get dressed and how do we get ready? What do we do to get ourselves ready?
Well, for certain, we actually can't get ourselves ready. So it sounds a bit of an unusual statement, what I've just said, but what we got to do is we've got to be dressed in the full armor of God. It is a it is a spiritual armory wear that I've got to put on. It is a special is a spiritual battle dress, so to speak. And I'm not talking about dress, I'm not going a funny way. What I'm talking about is it is the attire is what I've got to put on. I've got to put it on, I've got to keep it on, I shouldn't take it off. What do you mean? Look, let's have a look at the scriptures.
You know, we are living in days of high warfare. What we see on the streets, what we see in Israel, what we see through Ukraine and America and China and Russia, what we see in Afghanistan, Iran, Eritrea, what we see across these nations, when we see these war zones, it's not just happening just in the physical realm, but it's actually higher up in the spiritual realm. So there has always been a battle in the spiritual realm. We are at the heightened time of our life. We have a government that is leading this nation away from the cross of Calvary. We have a government that is not interested in the children of this nation. And what do you mean? It's not all about education. Education is secondary. What we need is a government that will feed our children food at school. What we need is a government that is going to lead us by the cross of Calvary. We are watching Israel, we are watching Iran, we are watching China, South Korea, North Korea, North Nigeria, South Nigeria, watching Eritrea, watching Afghanistan. We are watching the world just fighting and tearing each other to pieces. We are in the biggest battle of our lives, and depression is extremely high, and fear is extremely high, and doubt is extremely high. You know, wages and life itself just doesn't have no more meaning because we are so pressed on every area of our lives, we are so stretched in every corner of our lives. There is a spiritual battle that we never probably thought ever existed in our lives because the spiritual always was. You know, whether we're in faith, out of faith, whatever, and however we look at life, I don't believe that we can come to an understanding as human beings to look at this world and just think that this is it. This is actually it. It can't be it. It is absolutely impossible for it to be it. There is so much more into this world, but we are living in a time when the spiritual atmosphere, the temperature, the heightened area, the spiritual warfare out there, the depression, the fear, the doubt, the suicide rate. It is very extreme at this moment in time. But I want to take us to a scripture and we're going to the book of Ephesians. We're in the New Testament, we're going to the book of Ephesians, chapter
6. I'm going to read from verse 10. It says, Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. You know, we've got to find a way of strengthening ourselves in the Lord. David, King David, the psalmist David, the warrior David. When you look at David's life, he hit plateaus in his life. He he hit points of complete loneless, complete dispair. He hit places where he was lonely, where he was so anxious, he was so scared, he was so worried. He hit points that were so high. He was he hit major points in his life, but a majority of his life, he lived his life in fear and in doubt and not understanding what was going to happen in his life. You know, we are living clearly in days where the battle is really strong. We're watching marching on the street, we're watching this flag lifted, that flag lifted. There's no impact whatsoever. We have a government that is really not in any way, shape, and form interested in Christianity. You know, we have a government that is leading us away from the cross. And what we need is a government that will live us and uh sorry, lead us and bring us to the cross of Calvary. When you look at certain aspects of this nation, when you see what's happening, when you can tell what's coming across the channel, what's what's not coming across the channel, what's coming in from different areas of this world, we have to get ourselves dressed because it is more than this physical realm. The physical realm doesn't make it anymore. If you look at materialism, materialism is so empty, we're starting to realize the emptiness in materialism. Materialism is empty, houses are empty, cars are empty, social media is empty, you know, TV is empty, you know, uh all these gadgets, the phones, the iPads, this tablet, that tablet, the laptops, everything is meaningless. We're finding that our attention span is not engaging anymore because our minds are so active, they are flicking from one thing to another. You know, people are turning to substances, people are turning to gambling, people are turning uh to alcohol, people are turning just to just unusual areas of lives because we are trying to find a place to be happy, we're trying to find a place to be rested. You know, there is no peace. We are we are living in days when peace is being
robbed from us. And the scripture that we are in this evening is coming from the book of Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10. Finally, be strong in the Lord. How do I be strong in the Lord? This God that I serve, this God that I follow, this great I am, you know, Jehovah Jira, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Rapha, Jirah, Jesus, the Holy Spirit. Like, we don't have the privilege of what the disciples had back in the scripture. You know, Jesus Christ, there is extra biblical knowledge just outside of the word of God from historians and from atheists that said, yes, this man Jesus Christ was and he did live on the earth. It is exactly as the New Testament writers tell us. So we are not just going on the strength of the Word of God, we're going on the strength of extra biblical knowledge. When you look at history itself, the Bible is extremely clear on history. You know, the world takes its historical events from the Word of God. There is no other holy book like the Word of God. There is no other book that can match this book. This book has sold over 11 billion. When you see what this book has done, it is printed the most, it is stolen the most, it is lived the most, it is the book that is wanted the most. There is no other book across the world that is taken like the Bible. You know, people are turning to the Word of God like we've never seen before. People are ordering it online, people are trying to get a Bible. People are looking for the Word of God, people are looking for answers. There is no other book. The whole world takes its timeline, takes its history before Christ and after Christ. When you look at this book, the va the the kings alone, uh the prophets alone, you know, uh the judges, the kings, the satraps, uh the history that is in Israel. And when you look and see what's happening across the world right now, you know, the historical events that have happened in this word, this book is the greatest book the world has ever seen. Excuse me, there's no other book like it under the sun. It is powerful. But
as well as this book is alive and well, there is an area of a spiritual press where the church, especially in the UK, the church, and I'm referring not to the congregation, I'm referring to the leaders, the church isn't going into that area of spiritual warfare, it isn't going into that other plateau, it's not going up to that other level. The church is just hanging around this area of meteorcrity, it's hanging around the area of just this flat platform of just this boring nest, you know, all the stuff that goes on in church. Are you tired of church? Are you fed up with church? Church is more than what we see, church is more than the fabric and the building and the fine art and the gathering together for a few hours. Actually, what the Bible says is that you are the church, you are the body of Christ. And I pray that wherever you are tonight, that you will strengthen yourself in the Lord. As I said at the beginning of this service tonight, we are living in days when suicide is so high, uh the doubt is so high, the anxiety is so high, the fear, fears are so high, you know, the worries and the and the complicated way life is, it is so high. You know, we have such an issue at the moment with depression, anxiety, and fear. You know, across the land, across the world, people are getting unwell, people are are looking at life with different lenses. You know, there are things happening in the world that we never thought that'd happen. So how do I combat this? We cannot combat it with the with the physical, with with this natural realm. You know, politics can't do it. Walking on the streets wagging waving a flag can't do it. Going to church can't do it because it's physical. And what the church has done, it has turned everything into fit physical when really before that is actually spiritual. The spiritual is first. So what we need is to get spiritual. And I'm not talking about being holy Joe's, but all I'm referring to is understanding who Jesus Christ is, is walking with the King of Kings and walking with the Lord of Lords. It's not about coming to church, church is not gonna get you to where you gotta be. Religion is not gonna get you to where you gotta be. Religion can't deal with uh anxiety, religion can't deal with fear, religion can't deal, church cannot deal with it because it is of a natural realm. What we need is the spiritual application of the word of God. We gotta get into the spiritual side of the word of God. What we gotta do is we gotta pray. If you are depressed and you are worried and you are scared tonight, you gotta pray. Sometimes you might think that prayer is hard work because, yes, because it's a spiritual press. You know, Daniel, Daniel was pressing hard
in prayer, and it tells us that the demonic forces were putting a heavy lead ceiling basically over Daniel, and it looked like his prayers wasn't getting through. And God had to send an archangel down to clear the way, to deal with the demonic forces. But the church in the UK doesn't talk about the spiritual activity, it doesn't talk about the spiritual tension that we have now. The church in the UK is more interested in just the low level of just just natural realm of church, the physical. But what we got to do is we got to get into the spiritual realm. We got to get right deep into the kingdom of God. The Bible says that we got to strengthen ourselves in the Lord. You know, prayer is from day one today today finished. Prayer, it's it's about prayer. You know, maybe you're saying, well, I ain't got time to pray. You ain't got to go to church and pray. You've just got to be in your car, in your van at home, washing, cutting the grass. Whatever you are doing, prayer is conversation. So, how do I strengthen myself in a realm that is very physical and it is practical? The church is practical, the church is physical, but it has lost its spiritual understanding. The church doesn't have any more spiritual power because it's putting all of its weight very simply on one thing and one thing only. What's it putting its weight on? It's putting its weight on a charity number. When you put your weight on a charity number and you become a charity, you've got to be extremely careful what you become akin to. You've got to be extremely careful of what your understanding is, what you're partnering with. You know, when you look at churches and charities and all that, we are governed. The churches are governed with a charity number. We are governed. Even the Church of England has got a charity number, so we are governed. Elium is governed by by the state. There are certain areas of church that is under the control because we have a charitable status. We have to be extremely careful where, how, and what we do with with the charity and all everything that goes along with that, because we answer to the charity board and the charity commission and all that. But what we have lost in the church is the spiritual understanding that we are in the biggest battle the world has ever seen since the cross of Calvary. And what we got to do is that we got to get in the scripture, we got to keep in the scripture, and we've got to stay in the scripture. What does God say to Joshua? Meditate on the word day and night, then you will be prosperous and successful. We got to keep in the word of God. I know you might be tired, I know you might be exhausted, and our attention span, this is another thing, the attention span of humanity has severely dropped down. The attention span has almost gone in certain human beings. We're tired, we're run down, we're weary, we're exhausted, we're fed up, we're depressed, we don't even know what it means to be happy. We have lost the understanding of true life. True life is not found in church, it's not found in mission. True life isn't found at a church event. True life isn't found on social media. We absorb all our energy and the majority of our time on social media, TV,
and what the world is doing. And we have lost the understanding and the art of communication. We have lost the what do you mean the art and the communication, the communication that we have with
God? This is what the Bible says in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10. Finally be strong in the Lord. See, we are looking for
answers, we are looking for strength in other areas rather than Jesus Christ. Yes, we're born again, yes, we're Christians, yes, we know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Yes, we can shout a couple of hallelujahs up, yes, we can sing a few songs, but the only way we are gonna break depression, the only way that we're gonna break fear, the only way we're gonna break doubt, the only way we're gonna break the fear of the future, the fear of the past, than the fear of now. The only way that we are gonna break this, we are not gonna do it on social media. Social media will take you down the pan. Uh, church will take you down the pan. Life will take you down the pan because it is of this natural realm. What we need, we need to lock ourselves into God. We gotta lock ourselves into the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We gotta lock ourselves into the scripture. We gotta get in the word, stay in the word, pray in the word, and this is what we got to do. We have got to turn our prayer life and we got to use this prayer that we got. We've got to pray the word of God. It's no good going into a church and and singing and dancing and shouting, worship won't get you there. The only place that is gonna get you there is through the word. The Bible says the word and the spirit have gotta come together. If you want to see results in prayer, if you want to see results in your life, what you got to do is you've got to get a hold of a certain text in the Bible and you've got to read it and you've got to pray it through. So let's do this right now in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10, because there is power in prayer. Don't you ever forget you keep praying. It's not through worship, it's not through evangelism, it's not through preaching, it's not coming to church every Sunday and all these meetings and that, it's not sitting in here doing this podcast, it's not none of that. What it is, it is getting right with Jesus Christ. It is about getting into the power of the Holy Spirit. I actually believe when I study and watch a lot of the churches around the area and across the nation, especially in England at this moment in time, we have lost the understanding of the Holy Spirit. You know, it's it's not really mentioned a lot, the Holy Spirit. It's always talking about pastors and leaders and uh do it this way and do it that way. Uh I I've done this and I've done that. We can achieve this. We have lost the understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit. Not because the Holy Spirit is weak, not because the Holy Spirit can't do it, is because
we have been directed to a different path. We have got so many distractions in the world that distracts us away from the word of God. It has always been the word of God. Before preaching came in, it was a word of God. Before evangelism came in, it was a word of God. Before the before anything came in, before the five-fold ministries of the scripture, it always has been the word of God. And what we got to do is we've got to be like Daniel, and we got to be like Meshach, Shamrach, and the men uh bendigo that when we go into the fire of life, we got to tell the enemy that my God is able. See, we're words are so powerful. The people that you keep in your company, the people that you have around you, are they sewing words into your life? Words of truth, words of hope? Are they sewing into you? Are they giving you gospel truths? Are they carrying you in prayer? The people in your life, how do they affect your life? Are they making you miserable? Are they making you sad? Are they depressive? Are they bringing negative vibes? Are they bringing trouble? What is the social media like? What is what is happening on your social media feed? Are they taking you to the cross and to Christ, or are they taking you to the devil's playground? The devil's playground will mess with your mind, turn you over, your WhatsApp groups, the people that you text, the people that you connect with through the power of technology, sister and brother, what we gotta do if we want to beat depression, if we want to beat fear, it's not I'm gonna I'm gonna put myself out on a lime here. It's not necessary to go all the way through the pharmaceutical route. What it is, and not always necessary to go down the counselling route. What it actually is is getting myself right spiritually with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. You know, we can have as much counseling, we can do this, we can do that, we can talk to him, we can talk to her, we can do this course, we can do that course. But at the end of the day, before all that even came in, the only way that we will find deliverance and the only
way we will find freedom is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. And it will take everything you got because the area of the temperature of life that we have at this moment is so high and it is so strong. The only way that we're gonna battle depression and fear and worry is not to go to church. You won't battle that at church. You'll get a feel-good factor. You'll get a feel-good factor, and by what people sing and what what rhythm is through the worship, you know where the church is in the area of doctoring. You know how they sing, how they worship. You will find very clearly with walking into a church within a few minutes, within a few minutes, I'm not saying that I'm greater than anybody else, but within a few minutes of just looking around and listening to what is coming over the microphones, you know exactly where they sit in the doctrine. And what we are lacking in this nation is sound doctrine. If we've got doctrine, depression will go. If we got doctrine, fear will go. If we got doctrine, anxiety will go. If we got strong doctrines, the doctrines of grace, if we have been taught the scripture and the word of God, I just get us by by the skin of our teeth. You know, I just I'm just a caretaker. I'm just here for a moment, you know. I just get us by. What we need are true gospel preachers to be raised up. We need Bible teachers to be raised up in this generation. So we got suicide that is so high. We got doubt which is so high. We got people that have lost their understanding in themselves, they don't know who they are. Their mind is saying this, uh, this side of their head says that, this side of their head says that, and there is there is a ping-pong game going left and right, left and right. I've made a decision, no, I haven't. I'm gonna go backwards, I'm gonna go forwards, I'm this way, I'm that way. It is because the church, and when I talk about the church now, I'm talking about the leadership within the church. The leaders have taken us away from the doctrines of grace. Anything goes, and what we need is teachings now of how to get dressed for the biggest battle that we face as human beings because the spiritual warfare is so strong. You can't beat spiritual warfare with waving a flag in the street of the UK, you can't beat spiritual warfare by putting a vote against a man or a woman. You can't beat spiritual warfare with a great education, you can't beat spiritual warfare with money. You can be rich, you can be loaded, you can be doing this, you can be doing that, you can have all the trappings of the world. But if you don't have Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and not just that, but literally knowing who you are in Christ, you can have all the money under the sun and it'll make you miserable. You can have all the notoriety in the world, you can have the greatest followers on the social media, but if you are not, and I'm talking about myself as well, if we are not right spiritually with Christ, what do you mean spiritually right? What I'm talking about is knowing who Jesus is, knowing who the king is, and knowing who you are in Christ. When you realize you don't need money, when you realize you don't need education, when you realize you don't need anybody in your life, when you realize you don't need a social media account, what you need is the word of God. When you get in the word of God and you pray like you've never prayed before, when you link your vocabulary with the vocabulary of heaven and you capture the heartbeat of God and you get in the rhythm of heaven and the power of the word of God, let me tell you this: depression will bow and disappear. Feelings that you never thought you'd get rid of will go at the name of Jesus because it is severe and it is a demonic force from the outside. But when you tell the devil to go in the name of Jesus, when you tell the devil to get out in the name of Jesus, when you speak the word of God, and I'm not talking about in the Pentecostal language with the laying on the floor barking like a dog and running all over the place, being out of control. What I'm telling you now is to be still and know that I'm God. There's nothing more powerful than the word of God being spoken over to every devil in every life. Jesus didn't lay on the floor when he was in the wilderness, he didn't bark like a dog when he was in the wilderness. When the devil came to tempt him, he said, It is written. See, the problem is that we are biblically illiterate in 90% of the church in the UK. We have lost the understanding of the word of God. So when spiritual temperatures get strong, when the spiritual atmosphere gets higher, when we are pressed, and this nation has never been so pressed in the entire existence of itself, we have a government that has taken us away from the cross. We got a government that is not interested in the children, we got a government that is more interested in partnering with Ukraine and getting their land and sending
them aircraft and bullets rather than feeding our children and rather giving our children Bibles. We got a government that is more interested in world religions. Now, what we have is a government that is literally in bed with the devil. So we have issues, and there's no way waving a flag on the street is gonna change anything. There's no way just sunk in your head in social media, it's not gonna do nothing. I'm telling you, what's gonna do it is when the believers, when the believers in God, when the true Bible believers and believers get in the word of God. I'm not talking about religion, I'm not talking about the hypocrisy that goes with religion. I'm talking about someone that is radical for Jesus Christ, someone that is tired of living a life that is so weak and so low. I'm talking about someone that just like the lady in the Bible, that when she had the issue of blood, she was radical enough and said, I'm gonna touch the garment of Jesus Christ. If I touch the hem of his garment, see, there is something powerful about touching the hem of the king. When you get in the king's presence, demonic forces have to go. When you get in the presence of Almighty God, demons have to flee. But what we do at church, we don't get in the presence of Jesus. We get in the presence of euphoria, we get in the presence of excitement, we get in the presence of what our itching ears want to hear. We get in the presence of performance, we get in the presence of showmanship, and we haven't learned and we don't know how to get into the presence of Jesus Christ because the worship just keeps us at a low level, the preaching keeps us at a low level, the conversations keep us at a low level. What we need is doctrine when you know who you are in Christ Jesus, and this is what the book of Ephesians says in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10. Finally be strong in the Lord and put on his mighty power, put on the full armor of God so that you can take the stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle isn't against flesh and blood, against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of dark world, against us. It's the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms. See, we ain't gotta worry about the battle on the street, you ain't gotta worry about the battle of the flag, you ain't gotta worry about the battle of parliament, you ain't gotta worry about the battle on social media. What you gotta do is you've got to get dressed in the holy word of God. Because if you get dressed in that word of God, it doesn't matter who's prime minister, it's who's king, that's what matters. It doesn't matter who's leading that party over there, it's who you are in Christ Jesus because suddenly politics and suddenly all the religious activities, church suddenly becomes uh uninviting, it becomes worthless because actually it is worthless. So what you suddenly start to realize, I don't belong to the political agenda, I don't belong to the flag agenda, I don't belong to the monarchy, I don't belong to this nation, I belong to the kingdom of God. And I actually believe that we have lost in many areas of church life what the kingdom of God
is. Men and women are making their own kingdom. Churches and missions are making their own kingdom. They want their own kingdom. We want to rule our own kingdom. This is my ministry, this is my church, this is what I've built, this is what I'm gonna do, this is what I've achieved, I've achieved. We're living in a time where I've achieved is always on many lips of leaders. I have achieved, I am this, I am that, I have this many followers, I have that, I have doing this. I'm away this weekend preaching this, I am doing this. So, what we find ourselves, we have a lot of people leading churches that I have achieved, ministers, rather than surrendering to I am that I am. You know, we need to get in the word of God, and brother and sister, church won't get you out of depression, church won't get you out of fear. You know, uh everything in this world won't get you out of it. The only way you're gonna get out of anxiety, doubt, and fear is getting in the word of God. It has to be the word of God. The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10 finally be strong in the Lord and put on his mighty power. If I really understood the full power of God, imagine what it would be like in my life. We are more worried about people in our life than what God says. We are more worried about what people are saying about us than what God is saying about us. We're more worried about what history is saying about us and what people are saying about us and what culture is saying about us and what family, we're more worried about what they're saying about us. And when we worry about what human beings are saying about us, what does it do? It entraps us, it puts us in a box, it puts us in a prison. You know, it doesn't put us behind the bar, it puts us within a prison within ourselves, and we're too frightened to say anything, we're too frightened to do anything because of him herself. Her, she, them, possibly, maybe all them. And we are in a world where we're trying to please people and we're trying to tiptoe around. And I can't say anything because, because, because, you know, but what I gotta do is I gotta get in the word of God. I don't know if there's anybody out there this evening that is hungry for Jesus. I don't know if there's anybody out there tonight that is tired of living in depression and fear and anxiety. I don't know if there's anyone tired tonight living under the hand of narcissistic situations. I don't know if there's anyone tired of church and
bored of church. But I'll tell you what, tonight, if you want to get free, if you want to see the shackles gone, you get in the word of God. And this is how we uh come to the point. So if we take verse 10, we've just got a couple of minutes and we're gonna come to the table. We're gonna go to Ephesians chapter 6 that we're in, verse 10. So what I was talking about prayer. Prayer is dynamite, prayer will shake depression, fear will just melt. But what we do is we spend our times on TVs, we spend our time on our gadget, you know, we spend our time, you know, cleaning the car, cutting the grass. We're more worried about what the grass looks like than what our heart looks like. We're more worried about what people are saying than what Jesus is saying. We're more worried about if we get another heart on the social networks than if God has really got my heart. We're more worried about the world and we we have lost our true contact with God. And what I'm saying is nothing can separate us from the love of God. But we as a nation and as a church and as the body, we have lost that true connection with the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. And as we gather right now, I want to encourage you to be a prayer warrior. It's not preaching, it's not teaching, and it's not all that sort of stuff. It is prayer, it is not worship, it is not worship. We got to be very careful what we do and who we hang around with. People will shape you into their life and their culture. Find out who you are. Who are you in Christ Jesus? Are you an individual or are you just a number in a crowd? Do you know your true identity in Jesus Christ? And we are living in a time when we got to get in the full armor, we got to get in the full stretch of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Church is irrelevant, church is really boring. There's nothing really happening in church. You know, the figures go up, the figures go down, we do this, we do that, oh, we're getting, oh, Christmas is coming. Oh, hallelujah. Let's get baby Jesus out. Dust his forehead because he's been in the church law for 11 months. We got to get in the word of God. We got to get in the word of God and stay in the word of God. We got to get right in the scripture and we gotta pray like we've never prayed before. Because when you pray with the word of God, when you pray line by line, so let's just have a look before we come to the table. We're in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10. The scripture says, Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. So let's just use this as a prayer
line. If you are struggling to pray, find yourself a scripture and just read the scripture and just as you read it, just adjust it, just adjust it so it fits with your prayer. So look, let's just take this as an example. So I'm gonna read it one more time, then I'm gonna read it in a prayer way that I would read it. So we're in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10. Finally, be strong in the Lord and put on his mighty power. Father, in the name of Jesus, finally, I'm gonna be strong in you, Jesus. Finally, Lord, I'm gonna be strong in the Lord. Father, I'm gonna put on this mighty power. Lord, you telling me, you're commanding me in the name of Jesus to put on this mighty power. Lord, I'm gonna be strong in the Lord. Sister and brother, I'm telling you now, God has given us everything we need to live a radical, powerful life that is free from all the trappings of this fake world in which we live in. We will never be happy and free all the time we're hanging around religion and church and all the trappings that the world has. The only time that we will find true and absolute freedom is through prayer, and prayer actually brings what? What does prayer do? Prayer triggers worship because worship isn't like we're told in the church. Worship isn't down the front down the front singing and smashing a guitar to left, right, and centers and all that, and someone bouncing up on the stage getting all excited. True worship, true worship is within. True worship is within. So when I now, this is what the Bible says about worship. The worshipers will worship in spirit and in truth. So before music came into existence, and before church was, this scripture was alive. The Bible says true worshippers will worship in spirit and in truth. What was the Bible talking about? What he's saying is that we are worshipers because we worship God, but worship has been changed and been fabricated and made into a secular situation in church and environment. So what I gotta do is I've got to understand that I am a worshiper, and when I worship, I need to worship in spirit, Holy Spirit, and truth. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. I will worship in Jesus. Jesus will set me free, so I'll worship in the Holy Spirit and I'll worship in Jesus. So what takes me to true worship? It is the Bible, the word of God, takes me into true worship. And how do I get into that as well? It's through the power of prayer. So this is what happens. Finally, Father, in the name of Jesus,
I'm gonna be strong in the Lord and Lord, I'm gonna put on this mighty power in the name of Jesus. Lord, I'm worshiping through the word of God today. Lord, I'm worshiping today, Lord, that devils flee. Lord, I'm worshiping today, Lord, that satanic activity has gone. Lord, I'm worshiping, Lord, I'm being strong today. Fear has to go at the name of Jesus. Lord, I believe in Ephesians 6, verse 10. Lord, I believe that you are telling me to be strong. So Lord, I'm worshiping you in spirit and in truth. Lord, I feel the power of the Holy Spirit in my life. Lord, I feel the power of your word in my life. Lord, I believe that I'm going to be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Lord, when I'm in his mighty power, demons have to flee. Anxiety has to go. Suicidal thoughts have to go. Doubt has to go. Lord, lack has to go. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I'm praying in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, I believe in the word of God. I believe in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10. Lord, you're telling me, finally, be strong in the Lord. Lord, I'm going to be strong in the Lord. Lord, I'm not going to allow doubt and fear. I'm not going to walk around negative people. I'm not going to hang around the social networks. I'm going to get in the word of God. I'm going to lock myself away. I'm going to sit in this cupboard. I'm going to sit in my bed. I'm going to read the word. I'm going to worship in spirit and in truth. I haven't got to go to church to worship because I am a worshiper and I am worshiping in spirit and in truth. And Lord, as I worship in spirit and in truth, I believe, Lord, the Son will set me free. So right now, Lord, I am worshiping sitting on the edge of my bed. Lord, I'm worshiping driving round the M25 in my transit van. Lord, I'm worshiping sitting at my desk because I got the word and the spirit. And Lord, I ain't got to be at church on a Sunday, Lord, to engage in worship. Lord, I can be walking the field and I'm worshiping. Lord, I'm on the treadmill in the gym and I'm worshiping because the word of God is in my heart and out of your uh belly shall flow rivers of living water. So Lord, right now, the Bible tells me in Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10, finally be strong in the Lord. Lord, I'm going to be strong in the Lord. I'm not going to be depressed anymore. Lord, I'm not going to allow Lord God myself to be downtrodden. Lord, I'm going to rise on wings as of eagles. Father, I thank you right now that the Spirit of the living God is in my life. See, brothers and sisters, when I take the word of God, I've only got to take one area of the word. See, we're coming to the table right now and we gotta we gotta pull the guns out in a minute, you know, and bring this to a place, you know. But brother and sister, it has to be the word of God. It's no good going to church and worshiping on Sunday morning with six or seven songs. It's no good listening to the stuff that we've all put out on the radio. Yeah, it's good, it makes us happy and it makes us tap the steering wheel of life and we get a little bit jolly. But we got to go further than that. We are living in times when the spiritual temperature is so high, the suicide rate is is out of control, the the anxiety is out of control, the fear is out of control, doubt is out of control, that the the every area of life is flipped upside down. If I put my weight on Keir Starmer, if I put my weight on Sadiq Khan and on the flag waivers, where is it gonna get me? If I put my life, why are we putting our life and just saturating ourselves on all the social platforms and saturating ourselves through that? I'm telling you now, there is a life for you. And as I said the other day, there are more Christians going to the mortuary with a tag on their toe that says this never live the full dream. Don't go to the mortuary, don't be picked up by two human beings that will put you in a bag and zip it up with a tag on your toe. I should have done more, I should have lived more for Jesus. There are more people in the grave, there are more people in the mortuary tonight that are true Bible-believing believers that did not live to the full existence on this earth because, because, why? Because we allowed ourselves to be shaped by culture, we allowed ourselves to be shaped by work, by government, by social networks. We allowed ourselves to be drawn into this plastic world. Don't go to the mortuary with a tag on your toe that says I didn't do what I should have done. Brother and sister, you gotta live your life for Jesus, you gotta live in the full power of the Holy Spirit, you gotta live in the Bible, you gotta live radically for Jesus. You know, it's no good singing a few songs here and there because we all do it. You know, we got RB Christian radio. Yeah, they happy clappy songs. We have a we have a sing song and all that old Razmatazz, but you are a worshiper, you are a true worshipper, and the Bible says the worshippers will worship in spirit and in truth. Come on, let's get to the table. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to the table. We invite you to the table tonight, wherever you are. We're out of here in a few minutes. Alex is gonna wrap it up soon. So, as we're coming to the table, I want to invite you to break bread with us. I want to invite you to take at a cut. You know, there is power in the name of Jesus. Don't give your life to the devil's gadgets, don't give yourself to the temptations of the world. Give everything you've got, everything, and I'm talking about your heart and your your focus. Surrender everything to Jesus.
There is a life out there for you. There's a life for me, there's a life out there that we haven't even tapped into. I honestly believe, I honestly believe there is such a powerful life for every believer that is in touching distance. It's it's right there, it's tangible, you can touch it. It's it's it's there. There's a life there, but we rely on on wages. What I get paid on a Friday, that's all I'm worth. The people around me, they're starting to control me. The government are controlling me. Education, school, work, this HR office, it's controlling me. Church is controlling me. We are controlled at every level of our life. The word control doesn't exist in the kingdom of God. What that word you can equate to is surrender. Surrender isn't control. When you surrender, you live a life of freedom. So many believers, so many of us, are living a life in a prison by culture and life and people and history, work, this, finances, mortgages, this, that, cars. We have imprisoned ourselves and we live a life that is so, so, so, so less than what we can live, and it's never too late. So as we come to the table, let's ask God that, Father, I want, I want change now. Father, I want change in my life right now. Lord, I'm fed up with living the way that I'm living. Lord, I want to live, Father God, outside of the box of this natural world. I want to live in a supernatural way. I want to live my life radically for Jesus. I want to see the dead raised. Lord, I just don't want to go to church and see Pastor rambling on. Lord, I don't want to just keep listening to Ben. I don't want to keep Lord, I want to live, I want to go and do great things for God. I want to go and do great things. I want to live a life that is powerful in the Holy Spirit. I want to live a life that is beyond human understanding. I want to live a life that is so powerful in the name of Jesus. I want to see the dead raised. I want to see, dear God, people giving their lives to Jesus. I want to see the word of God preached fearlessly on the street corners. You know what, brothers and sisters, we don't need to jump in the area of apologetics. We don't need to prove to the bearded men around the nation that carry an IKEA mat under their arm. We don't need to prove to them anything. We don't need to prove to the government who God is. If the body of Christ, if the body of Christ would get into that posture of prayer, if we would get into that posture of prayer and we would pray through the word of God, let me tell you, this nation will be different. It doesn't matter what flag is is run through London, it doesn't matter what the what the politicians say, it doesn't matter what statistics says, it doesn't matter about mathematics, it doesn't matter what they're saying that this nation is going to be absorbed into a world religion and caught
up in Islam. It can't be because God has a greater plan. But what it needs, what it needs is the individual, the individual to pray and believe. When you pray and believe and you pray the word of God, God has to move. He ain't gonna move when flags are raised across London. He's not gonna move when we when we pull a preacher in or we go to uh some church event. He ain't gonna move in them areas of worship. God will only move when the word of God is spoken and prayed, and it that's the only way he's gonna move. He's not gonna move just because we're we're we're dancing up and down on a church on a Sunday. He's not gonna move because we're in the building. What he's not interested in the building. God doesn't need a building, he's not interested in this building, he's not bothered about this studio. He wants you, he wants you and he wants me to be warriors, to be ambassadors, to be strong Bible-believing believers. God doesn't need the building to get his work done. God is calling you tonight. Let's come to the table. Father, we thank you for this bread because it symbolizes the body of Christ. And as we break this bread together tonight, Lord, Father, as we take this, we understand, Lord, that this body, this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. So, Father, as we take this, Lord, I thank you that we are children of the living God. We're not churchgoers, we're not religious, we don't belong to this government, we don't belong to our family, we don't belong to anyone in our lives, we belong to Jesus Christ. So, Lord, I pray that we will surrender to you tonight. And as we take it this bread, bless us in the name of Jesus. Amen. Father, I thank you for this cup. This cup symbolizes redemption. And Lord, I pray, Father, as we hold this cup of redemption tonight. Lord, I thank you, Father, for the power of redemption. That we are redeemed. I haven't even got to go to church to get redemption. I haven't even got to do an alpha course, I ain't got to go to a conference, I ain't got to be baptized down the local church, I haven't got to go and shake pastors' hands and sweep the car park to get redemption. There is there is redemption, there is redemption at the cross of Calvary. You are already redeemed. It's not by work so that no one can boast. You are redeemed. And when now I believe what we gotta start doing is start believing like never before and turning our our world upside down. How do I do that? I speak the words of the word of God. Father, I believe right now I'm blessed and highly favored. Lord, I believe right now I'm the header, not the towel. I believe I'm above and not beneath. I believe the word of God is carrying me. I believe that you're meeting my financial needs. I believe, Lord, you're feeding our children. I believe, Father God, you're gonna get me to work. I believe, Lord, that I don't need money. Lord, I thank you that I don't need money. Lord, I'm not gonna look at the bank. I'm not gonna look at how much I got left on the mortgage. I'm gonna look at my God because my God can do all things. So, Father, I thank you that I serve a God that can do all things. Lord, you're gonna pay the mortgage. You're gonna pay the debt in the name of Jesus. Father, you're gonna get me out of this depression. Lord, I'm gonna rise out of this pit of fear. I'm gonna rise up in the name of Jesus. Lord, I'm gonna soar on wings as of eagles. I ain't gotta go to church. I don't need church. I'm not worried about what church is doing. Lord, I want to hear the heartbeat of heaven. Lord, I want to lock in with the word of God. I want to hear the heartbeat of the eternal God. I want to walk with Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Shalom. I want to walk with the King of Kings. I want to stand out of the crowd. I don't want to get locked into denomination. I don't want to get locked into a cultural church. I don't want to get locked into a color church. I want to walk free. I want to walk free in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I want to walk in the power of the Word of God. I want to walk in the Holy Spirit. I'm going to walk in the Bible. I'm going to see demons flee. I'm going to see the dead raised. I'm going to live a life that is great. I'm going to live a life that is powerful. Because I'm going to put on the breastplate of righteousness. I'm going to walk with the sword of the spirit. I'm going to trust my God that my God's going to make a way where there is no way. I'm not worried about the enemy. I'm not worried about the beard wearers. I'm not worried about those in number 10 down the street. I'm not worried about church. I don't need to go to church. I've got my Jesus. Because I'm a Jesus follower. I'm born again spirit-filled. I'm blessed and highly favored. I'm one of those born-again ones. I'm one of those ones that believes from Genesis to Revelation. I believe in the gospel of hope. I believe in the power of the word of God. I'm not going to engage in whatever flag is over the town today. I'm going to engage in the word of God. I'm not going to follow the crowd. I'm not going to do this. I'm not going to do that. I'm going to follow the king. Are you prepared to follow the king? Spirit of the living God. I pray, dear God, that as we take of this cup, you will wash us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. In Jesus' name. Amen. Sisters and brothers, wherever you are talking about the king, and I'm now going to refer to the earthly king and the incident that I've got to be extremely careful, very, very sensitive. What we say. When you look at the monarchy at this moment in time, when you see what is going on in that area of life, we have to look at everything and evaluate everything. You've got to look at Israel and see what Israel is doing. Not politically. Don't get caught in the political news. Don't get caught in BBC. Don't get caught in Sky. Don't get caught in the secular news channels. Find a channel that is actually telling you the truth right out, right from within Israel. Don't get caught in the propaganda. Don't get caught in this fake news that we have across our screens all day long. Because they will only feed you what they want you to know. Because they're shaping us and they're turning us away from the biblical Israel. Do not turn your face from the biblical Israel. This is what has happened to this government. It has turned its face from the biblical Israel and it cut the cord all those years ago. Now we are in a situation where the government that made those decisions, we are so far away. This government will only send a loaf of bread or a tin of beans. It won't partner, it won't speak very clearly. If you listen to what this government says about Israel, they will talk about peace treaties. They will talk about how we want this and how we want that. I'll send a blanket and a pair of socks, but they won't actually say this. We partner with the biblical Israel. We stand with Israel as the Bible says, because when you put that marker in the sand, we know who you are. That is the thing. God bless you wherever you are tonight. Alex is going to take us out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. But brother and sister, as I just get out of here a minute, I want to encourage you right now to be a Jesus follower, to get a paperback version. If you need a Bible, if you need a Bible, we will get you a Bible. We're posting Bibles across the world. You know, send us an email in at infoddailyprayer.uk. We will get you a Bible. We got some new Bibles on the way. We've got things happening. So if you need a Bible, I need to encourage you to put the phone down, put the device down, and actually get a paperback version. Even if you just open it up, open it to Psalms, just put it on your lap and just gently look at Psalm 23. Just take Psalm 23 or the Lord's Prayer in Matthew chapter 6. But brother and sister, get in the Word of God. I know you're in the Word. I know you love Jesus. I know you're Jesus' followers, but I've got to encourage you to get into prayer. But use the Bible as the weapon of destruction. The weapon of war. It's the warfare. It will break. The Bible says that it will smash the T for the enemy. You know, smash the T for the enemy. And you ain't got to put gloves on. You ain't got to jump in the arena because the battle belongs to the Lord. Because we are in a spiritual battle. We're gone. God bless you.
