We're going straight into the book of Psalms 27, verse 14. And today is the prayer of hope. Do you need strength today? Do you need the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit? Come on, let's get in. Let's pray today. You know, Psalm 27, verse 14. Wait for the Lord. Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Father, we thank you for the word of God. We thank you that this word is power. This word, dear God, is always moving forward. And Lord, right now we pray for the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen us. Lord, as we sit in this studio, as we record this live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Today, we are hoping in the word of God that Psalm 27, verse 14, we will hear the courage of the whisper of God, that we will feel the power of the Holy Spirit as we wait on our Father, as we wait on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Father, you tell us to wait, to be strong, to take heart and to wait for the Lord. Twice you tell us in such a short sentence of the word of God in Psalm 27, verse 14, sister and brother, wherever you are today, I pray that you will wait for the
Lord. You keep praying, but you wait for the Lord because God is about to open a door. What you've been praying for for weeks, for years, for hours, what you've been pleading with, what you've been crying over, what you've been bringing to the throne of grace, what you've been praying about in anger and frustration. And as we pray and throwing our hands in the air and actually saying, God, are you really real? You know, you keep that prayer going because God is about to do a miracle in your life. I honestly believe that we are living in times of breakthrough. The Spirit of the living God is over you. Wait for the Lord, be strong, and take heart. I want you to take heart today. Don't you ever give up. Take no notice of what you see around you. Never give up. Let's ask God that you will give us strength in times of trouble, that we will hope and we will not be denying what is God about to do. Let's have confidence in God's timing. Let's stand on the word of God. You know, many feel forgotten, many feel abandoned, and we got to tell you, you are not forgotten and you are not abandoned. God is working in your life. God is bringing you through the fire, the refiner's fire. God is fine-tuning you, God is sharpening you, God is bringing you to a place of yes and amen. And as we lock shields with millions of prayers across the world, as we lock shields with brothers and sisters across the world, we believe in the fire and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are waiting, Father. We are waiting for the season. We are in this season of waiting. But Lord, as we wait, we're getting scared. As we wait, Lord, we're worried. As we wait, we're looking for healing. As we are waiting, Lord, help us to make sense of everything that's going on. When our strength fades, Lord, when worry comes, help us to be strong and take heart in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Lord, I thank you that we are not striving, but Lord, we are praying. I thank you, Lord, that we are not running. We are being still and we know that our Father is in heaven. But right now, Lord, deliver your promises, deliver your word. Father, Lord, I pray that you will give us, Lord, more hope, more faith, Lord, that you will anoint us stronger. And Lord, that we will see the goodness of our God. So, Father, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, we pray right now that the fire of God and help us to fix our eyes on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Lord, we're praying for hope. We're praying for power. We're praying for an anointing. Lord, we pray, dear God, that the love of God will be so strong over our lives. We want to encourage one another tonight, Lord, today, this hour, wherever we are. We want to encourage you to be steadfast in the Word of God. We want to tell you right now, let's make this a life application that hope grows or hope is growing right now when we wait in faith. I want to encourage you to keep waiting. I want to encourage you to hold your place. I want to tell you right now, wherever you are across the world, God is moving in your life. Should we make this a public declaration? Shall we tell the world around us, my hope is in the Lord? I will be strong. Take heart and trust in his timing. Father, we thank you for your timings. We thank you that your word is yes and amen. We thank you that you are an eternal God, but we believe in miracles. And wherever the listeners are right now, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit that the glory, that the power, that the anointing will rest on our shoulders tonight. And wherever we are gathering, wherever we are listening, wherever we are walking, working, wherever we are being still, whatever our life looks like, I pray for a mighty miracle over the church family, over the prayer family. Lord, I thank you for the brothers and sisters. I thank you, Lord, for those that are downloading all these prayer podcasts. I thank you that you are working in their lives. I thank you that we are part, dear God, of the kingdom, the kingdom of prayer, the kingdom of hope, the king's domain, Spirit of the Living God, I ask that you will bless the listeners wherever they are at this hour, at this moment, that they will feel the love of God and you will come in like a flood, and they will feel the Holy Spirit in their innermost being. Take the worry, take the fear. But Father, we thank you that we are trusting in God's word today because your word is yes and
amen. And Father, as we have spoken, as we have prayed through Psalm 27, verse 14, we wait on the Lord. Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Thank you for joining and partnering with us wherever you are today across this world. Never give up. The Lord is with you. There is always hope. He's carrying your heart, he sees your tears, and you keep praying. Don't you ever give up in prayer until tomorrow.
