family. Father, we thank you for the love of God. We thank you for the midnight hour. As evening approaches our lives, as the sun starts to set, dear God, in the nation in which we live. Lord, as the sun starts to disappear and night time comes in, Lord, this evening prayer, as we pray out of the Gospel of John 14, verse 27, Father, we thank you for evening calm. We thank you for rest in a world of uncertainty. Father, as we pray this with brothers and sisters from Vancouver to Mumbai, from Oslo to South Africa. Father, let your love, Father, permeate around the world today.
Peace I leave you. My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Father, we thank you for John 14, 27. But today, Lord, as evening approaches, as the moon starts to shine in the heavens above, as the sun decreases, Father, we thank you that it might be dark outside, but the light of the world is shining in our hearts today. And Lord, we want to hear the whisper of Jesus. We want to hear the whisper of heaven. We want to feel the power and the anointing of our God. My peace I give to you. I want to tell your listeners, brothers and sisters, I want to tell you right now that you belong to this daily prayer family and you belong to a greater family. You belong to the kingdom of God. And there is peace. You will survive the storm. Don't worry about the news headlines. Don't worry about the bad report. Don't worry about the internal battles. God is
with you. As evening descends, as the morning starts to rise in other nations, Father, we believe that the battle belongs to the Lord. And as we come before you, we thank you that you are cleaning up unpaid bills. Lord, we ask you, dear God, as we're waiting on the doctor, we're waiting on the phone. We're waiting in uncertain hours. We pray for peace as we're at the doctor's right now. We pray for peace as we are in that area, dear God, of waiting for scans, as we're waiting, dear God, for results to come through. We pray for peace for those that are waiting on the jobs. We pray for peace for those that are worried about their children going through operations. We pray for those that are in hospital right now, in hospices. We pray for those that just feel very tense and very scared, that they will know the love of God. Father, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit. Lord, we thank you that faith stays with us. What trouble, what trouble can come near our door when we understand that there is power in the name of Jesus
Christ? Lord, the evening prayer is for peace and calm. Lord, give me rest for my mind in unsettled days. Lord, we're asking, Lord, that we will be able to let go before we go to sleep. Lord, will you bring peace in our troubled heart as we trust God for tomorrow? Lord, we thank you for inner calm during uncertain days, anxiety to go now in the name of Jesus, at the end of the day, and God's peace in stressful situations. We thank you, dear God, that there is spiritual rest and mental clarity right now. We pray for those that are looking to sleep, those that are exhausted. We pray for protection and peace through the midnight hour. We make a life application. Do not allow fear to keep you awake in the name of Jesus. Peace is about to remove that fear right now. Lord, we make a public declaration. I will not fear, I will not worry. I receive peace in Jesus' name. And I rise, dear God, in the peace of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. I believe in the
Word of God. And Lord, I want to have a call to action across the world. Father, help us to share this midnight prayer, this early evening prayer. Lord, I ask you right now that we will share this across the world in Jesus' mighty name. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying with us.
