We're jumping into Romans chapter 8, verse 28. I'm back again and we're going to jump straight into prayer. May God carry you. Do you know that you are loved? Do you know that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit is in your life? We're in the book of Romans, chapter 8, verse 28, and this is what the Bible says. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Father, we thank you that we have been called according to thy purpose. And right now, we ask you, God, in the stillness,
in the quietness, we pray for peace and rest. Lord, we ask you, dear God, in the quietness of this time together, as chaos is breaking out around us, Lord, we need stability in our lives. Lord, as the world is going crazy, as the world, as we are preparing for the second coming of Jesus Christ, Lord, we need your love around us today. We need your presence, and we know that we can do all things through Christ. But Lord, also we ask you, dear God, that we will know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who've been accorded according to their purpose. We pray for those that feel lonely tonight. Those that just feel like there's no purpose in their life. Those that, dear God, that just sit in there in the stillness, worrying, doubting. Father, I pray that we won't look back in time. We won't question and wonder why. But the prayer for peace and rest will be over us today.
So, dear God, I pray all the way from London to Cape Town to Los Angeles and wherever we are around the world, Lord, let your fire burn. Lord, every heartbreak, every setback, every door that's closed, Father, we thank you that it is woven together for a greater redemption story. We believe that we are redeemed. And right now we need an outpouring of your spirit. And tonight we pray for rest from striving. Lord, that you will renew our hope today. That we will go deeper in the word and we will trust you more in our prayer life. Lord, that when we pray, Lord, that we will feel a fire in our belly. Lord, we thank you that the word of God is held together by Jesus Christ. We thank you, dear God, that we're in the palm of your hand and we pray for peace and rest after a long day. Lord, we're tired. We need renewing of hope and strength today. Lord, we're exhausted and we need rest. Our eyes are tired, the backs are raking. Lord, we're just weary. We're weary of life and we need our God.
We know that we're living in end days and it's scary. So, Lord, we need divine intervention. We need the Holy Spirit like never before. And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been accorded according to Thy purpose. We know that you're working, God. We know that all things are happening. But Lord, Father, we want a greater story. Lord, we don't want to go off of history, historical revivals. We don't want to talk about the old days.
Lord, we want to see the God of now. We want to see the God of right now. You tell us that you're doing a new thing, and when you're doing it, God, you're doing it now. It's a show up with your God. Show up in the believers' lives. Come on, Jesus, in this studio. Lord, we need you. Father, we need practical help. We need help, dear God. Lord, I ask for your timing. I ask you, dear God, that you'll give us patience because we're feeling agitated. We're feeling lost. And right now we need the fire of God over our lives. And today I pray for restoration of
joy and confidence. Calm in the midst of chaos. Families to find peace at night. Rest in everybody's house. You are sovereign, you are God, you are mighty, you are power. You are the King of Kings
and the Lord of Lords. And we need our God today. So, Lord, we declare everything in my life works for good. Because I'm called and God loves me. I will rest in His purpose. Tonight, brother and sister, share this. Share this evening prayer with someone that is needing peace. Maybe it's you, but God is with you. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper.
Until tomorrow.
