Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. This is your quick-fired moment of faith to gather around the word with me and the brothers and sisters across the world to carry us through the word of God today. And whatever life is pushing your way. Don't allow the storms and the situations to hold you down. If these prayers
are blessing you, please tap the following button on Apple, Spotify, Buzzsprout, and whatever platform you're listening to, and just leave us a short review. We are straight in. We're
in the book of Philippians 2, verses 9 through to 11, and we're under Faith Under Fire. And we're praying today, right now, for the underground church. We're praying for the church that is listening to God, that is moving in such a way. We're praying, dear God, Lord, Holy Spirit, we pray for our brothers and sisters, Lord, and we want to let the world know. We're in Philippians 2, 9, verse 11. Spirit of the living God, bless that reading today, now from the NIV.
Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave him a name that is above every other name. And at the name of Jesus Christ, every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. To the glory of God the Father. Oh my Lord. Hallelujah,
Jesus. Father, we thank you for the word of God. We thank you that God exalted Jesus Christ to the highest place. We thank you that he carries a name that is so great, that is so powerful. Demons flee at the name of Jesus Christ. Father, we pray, Lord, for the church that is running for their lives. We pray for the persecuted brothers and sisters as they exalt the King of Kings. We pray as they are locked behind doors. We pray that the presence of Jesus Christ will fill their gatherings. Lord, that you will give them holy courage, that they will rise. We pray for the prayer today is for the persecuted Christians, strength for the underground believers, courage to stand on faith. Lord, give them courage to stand for faith today. We pray for the the prisoners that are behind closed doors. We pray for those, dear God, that are running for
their lives. Dear God, we pray right now from Baghdad all the way to Kabul, right away, dear God, all the way through the islands, dear God, that are coming under persecution, Eritrea, Myanmar. Father, we pray right now for Afghanistan. We pray for Turkey, dear God. We also, dear God, bring before you, Lord, we pray for Poland and Germany. We ask you that Europe will be saved in the name of Jesus. But Lord, we think of India. Lord, the persecuted church in India right now. Western Samoa, Lord, raise that church right now in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we think of Istanbul right now, Lord, that is coming under it. We think of Brazil. Lord, we pray that Brazil will continue to move in revival and power. But Lord, we believe right now that there is a supernatural power and protection over believers around the world. Give us courage to stand. But Lord, we pray as they suffer in silence. Lord, as they long for the word of God. We pray, dear God, that Bibles will get in, Lord, to hostile places, that Bibles will reach the persecuted
church. We pray for the secret church, the underground believers now. We pray for the pastors, the families that are in prisons, in the darkest prisons within the world, that they will know Jesus Christ is with them. Lord, feed them. Lord, as they hide in rooms, as they gather with grace, Lord God, with weary hearts and fears of the door being knocked. We pray for the secret church, the whispering church, the power, dear God, the suffering, Lord, that they are going through right now. Father, we believe that you are with every prisoner of faith. We believe that you are in every house church. We believe that you are rebuilding the gospels, Lord, in lives that have been devastated, Lord. We pray for those lives that have been martyred, those lives that have been taken out with gunfire, those, dear God, that have been separated with their families, those that have been ostracized because they've come out of world religions and then now they're born-again Christians. We pray that faith under fire will rise. We ask you, dear God, that grace, that grace that goes before them will strengthen them in the name of Jesus. And we believe that you are in and you are moving and you are touching the lives of the persecuted believer.
So right now, Lord, we pray for support and strength. We share this prayer, dear God, right now. Faith under fire. We share this, dear God. Strengthen our believers, our brothers, our sisters, those, dear God, that are in the church under fire. Jesus Christ is Lord. Father, we thank you that no power on earth can silence the name of Jesus. So, Father, bless the underground church, the secret church, that the church that is running for its life. But Father, we thank you for faith under fire. Lord, that you are moving in Jesus' precious name. Bless the church from the crown of its head to the sole of his feet. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow.
