notes below. Wherever you are, I pray that God will strengthen you, God will carry you. I don't know about you, but we are living in the last days. You know, Jesus Christ is coming back. We've got to be rooted in the Word of
God. And wherever you are, whatever the time zone is in your life, we're going to go to John 14, 27. It's about peace. That Jesus says, Peace I leave with you. So for this hour of prayer, wherever you are at this moment in time, this quiet benediction of peace, assurance, and rest in Jesus Christ, I pray that God will cover you with so much love and peace today. We're in the Gospel of John, chapter 14,
verse 27. Father, as the day begins, as the midnight hour approaches, Lord, as we are awake in the early hours of the morning. Lord, as we are listening to my voice at this moment with stress and fear in our hearts and our minds, I pray, dear God, for John 14, 27 over every listener's heart. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Do not be afraid. Lord, I'm scared. I am scared, Jesus. I have moments where I'm fully faithful. I'm fully strong in the word, Jesus. But then I have moments where I get scared and worried. And through this daily devotion, Lord, through this reality of life, as being a human being, Lord, I know that we are blessed. I know, Father, that you live and you are the redeeming King. Jesus Christ is alive. But Lord, I pray for all the listeners that feel like me at this hour. Lord, I pray for everyone that feels like me right now that, Lord, that we might be a little bit scared about the future.
We're unsure about this hour at this moment. Work is heavy, life is heavy, relationships are strained, the children are a bit wayward, things are not going well in church and ministry. We're pressed against the fence of life. Father, I pray for those, dear God, that just feel like, Lord, they're hanging on the barbed wire of life. Lord, that we got cuts everywhere. Lord, that we're we're just afraid, dear God, to move because every time we move, it feels like the barbed wire of life goes a little bit
deeper. Holy Spirit, please, I pray for myself, everybody in this studio, everybody in this ministry and the church, and I pray, dear God, for the family that's listening to my voice now, the daily prayer family. Lord, I ask you, God, that you will give them peace. Lord, I pray for every troubled heart, bruised heart, bruised life. Lord, wherever we are, from Vancouver to America, dear God, I pray for Europe right now. Poland, dear God, we pray for Poland, their Atreya. Lord, Myanmar, Father God, just move around the world. Holy Spirit, I just ask you that peace. Peace will be the deposit, as the word tells us, because Lord, our hearts are racing right now. Our minds, Lord, we cannot concentrate. Lord, we are struggling to focus. But right now, Lord, we believe that Jesus Christ is in our lives. And Lord, we believe that Jesus offers peace, peace to each and
every one of us right now. And across the globe, Lord, as millions of us search for the prayer for peace, how to sleep without fear. Jesus, calm my mind. Lord, I need peace. My peace I give to you. Lord, you tell us that you give us peace. Lord, this is what you promise to us. And tonight we are praying for peace that surpasses all understanding, that goes in front of knowledge, that homes will be filled with rest. Schools will be filled with safety. Hearts feeling free of fear. Lord, my mind needs to be anchored in the promises of Christ. Lord, we got to be anchored in Jesus. So today, Lord, I pray for all the listeners around the world. Lord, that they will walk in peace, love, and understanding, and they will find rest for their hearts, their minds, their bodies, their soul. I thank you that true peace is found in Jesus
Christ. So today, Lord, we will not be troubled. We will not fear, because you are with us. Bless all the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet before they sleep and as they wake this morning. Bless them in Jesus' name. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow. May God be with you.
