Let's get straight into the book of Romans, chapter 8, verse 9. Life in the Spirit, freedom and identity in Christ Jesus. Have we lost our identity? I believe many of us have lost our identity in the busyness of life, family, situations, past, present, and what might be lying ahead for us for today. I pray that God will give us freedom. We will look to the cross of Calvary and we pray for freedom. Who am I in Christ? Help me find peace, renew my mind. Come on, we're in prayer today. Romans 8, verse 9. This is then. However, you are not of the realm of the flesh, but you are in the realm of the Spirit. If indeed the Spirit of God lives in you, and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Father, we want to say firstly, we thank you that we belong to Jesus. Father, there is no doubt. Lord, we might have a wobble some days, but Lord, we know that we are saved. Lord, we know, dear God, that we are Bible-believing believers. We know, dear God, because we're always searching, we're always looking. We know that we are born again because, Lord, you have brought us
to that position, that posture. And we are that John 3.3. You must be born again. Father, we thank you that the gift of salvation comes from above. But right now, Lord, we want to walk, dear God, not in the realm of the flesh. We want to walk in the realm of the spirit. We need, dear God, to find our identity again. Lord, we need freedom from past hurts, traumas, life situations, from workplace issues, from families, from breakups, from divorces, from relationship issues. Lord, we need to find identity again. Lord, we got to get life in the spirit of the living God. And I pray for each and every one of us right now, as the sun rises across the world, as the sun sets across the world, Lord, that we will find our identity through the Holy Spirit. Lord, that we will walk in freedom. Lord, I thank you that freedom is not a feeling, it's a belonging to Jesus, that we belong to Jesus. And Lord, we believe the Spirit of the Living God breaks all chains, and we believe that there is peace in our lives. Give us freedom and wholeness in Jesus Christ. Lord, we believe that we have our identity in the Word of God. But I pray for the listeners wherever they are across the world, Lord, that we are not slaves to fear or guilt, but we are children of the living God. Our yesterday, our history is now to the cross of Calvary. Lord, and I want to say thank you, Lord, that we are marked with the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, I want to say thank you for all the listeners today. As I bridge the gap right now, I believe that they are saved. I believe that they are finding their true self within their hearts, their minds, their bodies, their souls. I believe, Lord God, that they are walking in freedom.
Father, wherever they are, from Kenya to Poland to Indonesia to Canada, Lord, let the Spirit of the living God lift the church up today. Lord, let there be freedom in the workplace, in their lives, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, dear God, to the field of life. Bless the listeners today as we lock shields of faith. We believe in the power of freedom through the Holy Spirit, and our identity is in Christ Jesus. We pray that we will overcome fear and guilt. Lord, that is a big one, Father. Lord, help us to overcome fear and guilt today. Help us, dear God, to overcome fear and guilt. Lord, we want to walk in wholeness. We want to walk in truth. We don't want to walk in negativity. We want to walk in freedom and in unity and in the spirit of the living God. Help us, dear God, that all of us have gone through emotional brokenness, fears and doubts, worries and traumas. But today, Lord, I thank you that the Holy Spirit is leading the listeners and they are finding their identity after many, many years. Lord, let forgiveness and love overflow from their heart
today. Lord, draw them to the cross to the word of God. May the blessings of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit be with every one of you today and forevermore. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Thank you for joining us in this prayer time together. Until tomorrow.
