are in the Gospel of John and we're in John 16, verse 33. I gotta tell you today that this is faith under fire. That's what we are praying about. We're praying for our brothers and sisters wherever they are in the persecuted church, that God will strengthen them, that their faith is under fire.
Lord, we pray for courage for the persecuted church. Jesus Christ, you are the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through thee. But right now, Lord, as we pray through John 16, verse 33, have I told you these things so that in me you may have peace? In this world you will have troubles, but take heart, I have overcome the world. Father, I've got to take heart today. And Lord, I stand and we bridge the gap, dear God, to our brothers and sisters wherever they are in this world. Father, we pray for the persecuted church that it will rise in power. We pray, dear God, for the church, the suffering church, the whispering church. Lord, as it echoes the word of God across lands that Jesus cannot be spoken
about. We pray for the lands where churches are flattened. We pray, dear God, for China, Iran, Somalia, North Korea. We pray, dear God, for Afghanistan. We pray, dear God, for Myanmar. We pray, dear God, for the areas, dear God of Israel. We ask you today that the Spirit of the Living God will move in such a powerful way. Lord, we believe as believers are whispers in worship behind closed doors, the underground church survives because of faith, endurance, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, reign today over the persecuted believer. Lord, we pray for those that are needing Bibles. We thank you, dear God, that Bibles are being smuggled into the lands. We believe that Christians, dear God, are being drawn to the cross of Calvary. Lord, we ask you that the persecuted church, the underground church, Christians that are suffering, pastors and leaders, missionaries that are behind closed doors,
behind the prison bars because of their faith. Lord, we pray, dear God, for the surveillance. We pray for the imprisonment. We pray for the anti-conversion laws. We ask, dear God, that the Spirit of the Living God will move right now through the violence, through the fears, through the doubts, and we lift up the persecuted believer. And Lord, we ask that you'll give strength to those that are prisoners because of their faith. Lord, faith, dear God, is so powerful. We need more faith, especially us here in the West. As we look and as we listen to what is happening right now in China, Iran, Somalia, North Korea. Lord, we pray for blessings to fall right now. Protect pastors, house churches, families living in silence in the name of Jesus. Bring comfort to prisoners right now. Spirit of the living, God, let revival break out. Let revival break out in prisons. Let revival break out in lands where Jesus Christ is not allowed to be worshipped. Father, we pray that prisoners of faith will worship in spirit and in truth. We pray, dear God, and intercede for pastors and leaders in dangerous situations.
We ask you, Lord, that you will be with families, dear God, that have lost their loved ones and their friends, martyred for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord, we also pray for that anti-conversion law that is rising rapidly. We ask for safety of deliverance of Bibles and resources. Lift children up as they are growing in persecuted regions. Lord, we pray for such an outpouring of the Spirit of the Living God, that the fire of God, the love of God, the power of the living God will be over every believer, that the Spirit of the Living God today be their daily bread.
Lord Jesus Christ, we ask that the Holy Spirit will touch lives today. Lord, that the love of God will be so strong and so powerful. Lord, this is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad. Jesus, we thank you that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. And we bring before you, God, faith under fire, the underground church. Lord, this global church, Father, prisoners of faith. Give them courage. Let them rise today in the secret church.
