straight into that. But we're on, we're in the great book, and there is only one book, and his name is Jesus. We're in the book of 2 Corinthians, chapter 12, verse 9, and this is where we are hitting it today. But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ's power may rest on
me. Father, we thank you today for grace. I pray today for grace is sufficient for each and every one of us. And I ask you, Father, that you will set the captives free, and that your grace, dear God, will penetrate the skin in which we walk in. And as the evening starts, as the morning awakes, as the sun falls, dear God, to rest, as the moon, dear God, lights up the heavens above, as the rain comes down, as the snow is hitting the ground, as the wind is blowing, as the sea is roaring, as the stars are in the heavens above, we know that you are the great I am. And right now, Lord, as we just take a moment to pause, Father, take the weight off of every heart, take the fear off of every mind. Jesus speaks grace over your lives today. And wherever you are, across Australia, Jamaica, Germany, and the Philippines, I pray that the love of God will give you rest and you and us and we will realize that His grace is sufficient for each and every one of us. For his power is made perfect in weakness. So therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness. Father, I thank you for my weaknesses. I thank you, dear God, for my failings. I thank you, dear God, that I get it
wrong. Because Lord, when I get it wrong and when I'm weak and I make stupid human decisions, my God clears up the mess. So, Father, wherever we are, from Jamaica to Canada to the Philippines to Australia to Germany, Lord God, in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, you are the way, the truth, and the life. And right now, Lord, we thank you that you're taking our brokenness and you are turning it into beauty. I thank you that you're turning our tears into joy. I thank you that you're turning our weariness into hope. Holy Spirit, if there's ever a time that we need Jesus, it is right now. And wherever we are, if we're on the school run, bless us. If we're cutting the grass, bless us. Lord God, if we're in the barbers, bless us. Dear God, if we're running the hoover around, bless us. If we're in the gym, Lord, wherever we are today, dear God, from the battlefield to the field of life, from the field of life to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the coffee machine, spirit of the living God, if we've just woken up and we feel terrible, if we can't kick the duvet off, Lord, and we feel so depressed, we pray for strength today. We pray for the evening prayer that we will find peace and calm. We pray for the morning hour. We pray for tomorrow. We pray for today. We pray for now that the Spirit of the Living God will carry us. But today, Lord, whatever nation we're in, whatever tribe we're from, Lord God, I pray for those that feel exhausted.
I ask God's grace to come tonight in such a power. I pray for emotional and physical healing. Lord God, I pray for those that are scared and worried about life. Restore, heal, and set the captives free. Lord, we want to walk in the Holy Spirit. Lord, give us courage for today, courage for to now, and courage for tomorrow. Spirit of the living God, will you carry us? Oh my God, please, Jesus. Bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Until tomorrow.
