Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Van Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the daily devotion and global hope. Wherever you are across the world, this is real life prayer time. You can hear the rustle, the bustle, you can hear the noise of the studio. We are not AI, we are real Bible-believing believers. Yes, I make a mistake. Yes, I stumble, I cough, I sneeze, all that sort of stuff, but we are not AI. We are real. We are real Bible-believing believers that have God in the center of our lives and we want more of Him. And it's the same for you too. We pray for you
wherever you are. And if you can support this listener-funded ministry, please, wherever you are, just three pounds a month, buy us a coffee, hit that show note link below. Come on, God is real. I want to tell you that God is real. There's no such thing as an AI God. You know, we understand how powerful AI is and what it's doing across the world, but I gotta tell you that Jesus Christ is real. God is real. We are real. You might hear the background noises, you might hear me and see me and do all the mistakes that I make, the stumbles I make, but it is real, and we are real Bible-believing believers with real problems. Trust me, I got problems. I need God to move in my life. My life is not as clean as it should be. My night life is not as beautiful as it should be. I need Jesus. Do you know what, sisters and brothers? The more I want Jesus, the more mucky my life becomes. The more I want the Holy Spirit, the more foggy it becomes. The more I want to walk holy, the more distilled the waters become. I just want
Jesus and I'm longing for peace. I don't know who you are or where you are right now, but I gotta declare John 8.12 over you. Because walk in the light, sister. Walk in the light, brother. Peace for the midnight hours, whatever your day looks like. Please, brother and sister, don't be afraid, don't be scared, don't be worried about past, don't be worried about your future, don't worry what your life looks like right now because God is real. God is real right now. As real as my voice is, as you're hearing my voice now, God is real. Do not allow social media, do not allow the world. We are in prayer, by the way, just because I'm speaking a little bit different. We are in prayer and we're gonna come to this realization that our lives are messy, the world is messy, but God is shaping our lives. Come on, let's pray. Let's continue to pray, let's keep moving in prayer. John 8 12 is over your life. Walk in the light, peace for the night's hour. Father Lord, you tell us as it's written in the Gospel of John 8.12,
when Jesus spoke again to his people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Father, I thank you that you are the light of the world, and I need this light tonight. I need this light at this moment because Lord, I feel like sometimes the dark blanket of the world is heavier, and I can't shake the dark blanket of fear, doubt, anxiety. I can't shake this dark blanket sometimes, dear God. It feels so heavy. Life and the atmosphere just feels like, dear God, I can't let my light shine. Lord, it's so difficult to let my light shine, to let our light shine. Lord, we're
being honest tonight, God. We're being authentic right now, Lord, and we're praying, Lord, help me, help us. I pray for the listeners' hearts right now. I pray that we will walk in the light. Lord, it is so difficult. This life is so hard. The more we want Jesus, the more foggy it is. Lord, the more we want Jesus, the light seems to get dimmer. Lord, the more we want Jesus, the darkness gets so heavy and it's scary, God. Lord, we need you in our lives. Father, Lord, come please restore us. Lord, help us to walk in the gospel of peace. Lord, we need your light to shine up. Just dear God, as that the Psalms of David are so beautifully written. Lord, we pray that we will, dear God, the word will be a lamp unto our feet, a light for our path. Lord,
the UK feels very dark. London, England feels very dark. The surrounding areas feel very dark. Lord, everything feels heavy and oppressive. And Lord, sometimes I want to let you into a secret, Jesus. Sometimes, God, I'm so tired and I'm so weary. I don't know how to pray, Lord. Lord, sometimes the blanket of the UK is so oppressive. Lord, through the political call, through the financial lack. Lord, through every area of life. Lord, it feels so heavy. Lord, some days I just feel like giving up, Jesus. So Lord, we need you in our lives. Lord, we're being honest and we're being open. Lord, will you lift the blanket of heaviness? Holy Spirit, please lift the blanket. We got a walk in peace today. And Lord, I pray for the listeners wherever they are right now, from Argentina, Lord. I pray for Argentina, Egypt, Malaysia, and the UK, America, every village, every tribe, every tongue, every region, every nation, every city, every village. I pray for the whole world today. Lord, help us to live in the light of God. Lord, it's scary. Tonight we choose to walk in the light. But Lord, as soon as I start thinking about the light and choosing to walk in the light and to walk more for Jesus, Lord, I've got these shadows around me. I've got these shadows, and it's scary, Jesus. And I need you like never before. We need you like never before. Christ will be the center of our lives. Holy Spirit, be that wall that we need. Protect us, dear God, from the ferocious dogs that are out there. Protect us from the wolves, dear God, that are dressed in sheep's skins. Holy Spirit, we need
you. And in this still time, in these moments of praying, tonight we choose Jesus. But Lord, sometimes I'm scared to mention your name because when I mention your name, it feels like life gets heavier. Lord, when I say I want to live in the word more, it becomes harder. Lord, help me. Help us. Help us, God, just to keep calling the name, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Lord, we understand that this is not a physical fight, but this is a spiritual battle that's been won in the heavenly realms. So Lord, I pray, Lord, not just for physical, not just for emotional, not for mental as well, Lord, but spiritual strength today. Help us to break through the monotony of life because it's tough, Jesus. Like we've never felt it before. Come, Holy Spirit. Lord, I want you to come back. I want you to come back and to take us home. Lord, I want to walk in the glory. I want to walk in the word of God. Bless the listeners, bless
the family today across the airways. Bless those that are listening on RB Christian Radio. Bless those that are on Spotify, Apple, and whatever platform they're listening to my voice from. But Lord, I pray that you'll strengthen the church. And I call it the hidden church that I cannot see. Wherever they are, I pray that you will bless them as they commute, as they live their lives, wipe their tears, carry their hearts, Lord, and let them know that you love us. God bless you. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. We're never going to give up. I'll speak to you tomorrow. God bless.
