Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. This is your five-minute commuted prayer. Quick five moments of faith to carry us through the rest of the day.
Do you believe in healing? Do you believe in the power of the word of God? Do you believe God is healing you? I do. I don't know what you're up against. I don't know what your name is. I don't even know where you are in the world, but I've got to tell you, God is healing you. The power of rest is in your life. God is giving you calm. God is giving you freedom. Wherever you are today, I pray for such an outpouring of the Spirit of the Living God that you will find peace and refuge in the greatest name in heaven and earth. But wherever you are right now, may the Spirit of the Living God carry you. May the anointing and may the love of God be over your life.
We are into John. We are in the good book of John 16, verse 33. Peace in Christ. Prayer for calm, rest and freedom from anxiety. Father, we pray today that the Spirit of the Living God will carry us. We pray today that your love and your mercy will be around us. We pray today wherever we are in the name of Jesus Christ that you will carry us and you will anoint us right now. Father, we believe in miracles. We believe in the power of God. And right now, in Jesus' name, will you strengthen us? Will you give us the courage? Lord, we believe in the fire of God. We believe we are anointed, that we are born again. But Lord, will you take the tiredness? Will you take the fear away? So, Lord, will you replace that? Lord, we are praying for calm, rest, and freedom from anxiety. And this is what the good book says in John 16, verse 33.
Have I told you these things so that you may have peace? In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world. Father, in the name of Jesus. I love that scripture, Jesus, but I've got to be honest, Lord, you tell me in the world we're gonna have trouble, and I don't want it, Lord. Because Lord, I got more trouble at the door of my life than I can handle. Lord, I got more trouble in my head than I can handle. Lord, I got more trouble in my bones than I can handle. And Lord, I need some rest. Lord, I don't know about the listeners wherever they are in their lives, but Lord, I've got too much going on. I got too many plates spinning. Lord, I need calm and rest for my life. I need a miracle. I need the glory. I need my Jesus to show up. I need my God to take this weight. Lord, I need miracles before my very eyes. Lord, you know what my life looks like. You know how my life is moving. And Lord, I need you. So Lord, as I read, as I pray through, dear God, through this devotional time, Lord, as we explore the word of God, Lord, as I pray, John 16, verse 33, Lord, I need peace in Jesus. Lord, I need the prayer for calm. I need rest and freedom from anxiety. The Bible says, Have I not told you these things so that you may have peace? Lord, I need peace. Lord, why is it so difficult to get peace in a crazy world? Lord, you tell us that in this world we'll have trouble. But take heart. Lord, I don't know how to take heart. Will you teach me to take heart? Will you take these burdens? Will you lighten this low? Because my mind is tired, I'm weary, I'm exhausted, and I need Jesus. And I come to you at the dawn of the day. And I ask you, Father, that you will strengthen me from the crown of my head to the sole of my
feet. And I believe, Lord, that this prayer, Lord, just doesn't lie with me. I believe, dear God, for the listeners across Germany, South Africa, Canada, the Philippines. Lord, I believe, Lord, in every corner of the globe. We are asking for peace. Lord, remove anxiety, the prayer for calm. Lord, you tell us, Lord, authority and power belongs to you. But right now, Lord, wherever the listeners are, we need peace in our lives. Lord, we believe that we are anchored in victory. We believe as the world shakes, as the world moves, as the tectonic plates of life move under the earth, we believe that the peace of God is in our lives. So Lord, I ask you right now, wherever we are, from Germany to South Africa, Canada, the Philippines, wherever we are, Lord, I pray for peace. In the battle of anxiety, Lord, in the field of life, in the field of anxiety, Lord, will you rise in our spirit today? Will you give us calm today, Lord? Please, emotional rest, stressful times to go at Jesus, Lord. Come on, Lord. Lord, I want a clean season. I want to see miracles. I need practical help, God. Will you help
us, Lord? Father, we thank you that we are gathered around the Word of God, that you are healing us, that you are a practical God, and you are making the way in the valley of dryness. Spirit of the Living God, will you bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet? Bless them. Touch their hearts, their minds in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow.
