Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. This is your commute of prayer. This is a quick time where we gather around the word of God to push through, to break through. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper, and I'm just breaking out at this moment in time. We just feel in this studio that we got to push this extra emergency one-off prayer out against anxiety. We're in the book of Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. You might have noticed that there's an extra prayer going out today, but I really feel in my heart, along with the team here, that we are living in very precarious
times. So this is a one-off special and this is the emergency prayer against anxiety. If you are anxious at the moment in time, I am, we are, many of us are around the world. I've got to tell you right now, let's get in and let's just pray against anxiety. I want to speak this over your life right now. This is a quick fired moment of prayer. This is an emergency prayer against against anxiety. Just this one off special, and we're in Philippians 4 verses 6 through to 7. Be anxious about nothing. But in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, we speak Philippians 4 verses 6 and 7 over our lives today. Lord, I pray wherever people are, Lord, right now, from Toronto, dear God, to Saint Paulo. Father, I pray for Brazil. I pray, Lord, for Afghanistan, Eritrea, for New York, America, Asia. Lord, we pray for England. We pray for Scotland, Ireland and Wales. We pray for every area of life. We pray for every town, every nation, every human being, in faith, out of faith. God, calm our mind. Please, please, Lord, we pray against panic attacks. We bring this Bible verse against fear right now. And we stand together as Christians. Lord, this global anchor of this scripture, sister and brother, through this prayer moment, anchor yourself to Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. Lord, let this be our anchor today. Be anxious about nothing. Lord, we come against Father panic attacks. Lord, we hate these feelings. Lord, these tremors, these doubts, these fears. Lord, we need to exchange. Lord, we need to release this fear and the request from our hearts today, God, do not delay. We need supernatural transitions in Christ Jesus. Tonight, this morning, as hearts are overwhelmed, as minds feel distracted and scared, souls are longing for calm. Every heart, every voice, everyone that is listening to my voice now, I pray that you will bring steadiness to them in a world that is restless, in cultures that are brutal.
Father, I ask you that we will not put our reliance on social media. Lord, will you break the addiction of social media? Because when we're on that, Jesus, it makes me feel worthless. I'm wasting my time, I'm wasting my life scrolling over rubbish. Lord, get me off of social media, the devil's territory, get me in the kingdom of God. Holy Spirit, control our minds. Lord, we surrender to the hand of God. We need the Holy Spirit in our lives. Father, we need peace. We need calmness. Lord, help me to let go of this anxiety. Help me to get to the cross. Lord, calm my racing thoughts, my restless emotions. I pray for every house to have comfort and peace. I pray for every human being, wherever they're from, whatever their names are, that they will find the love of Jesus Christ stretched down from heaven today. Lord, as we're on the battlefield of life, as we're in the boardroom of life, Lord, as we're on the playing field of life. Father, wherever we are, from the bus to the train, from the train dear God to the school
run. Lord, as we're crying right now, Lord, our hands are clammy, our minds are over-engineering things. We're worried about money. We're worried about health. We're worried about church ministry. We're worried about the second coming of Jesus. We're worried about what it's going to be like. We're worrying about life. We're scared. But Lord, we're going to flip it over now. And we're going to pray, Lord, that we're going to find breakthrough. Lord, I thank you for breakthrough now. Lord, as we believe and confess that we are children of the living God and we are bloodwashed, born again, Lord, we know for sure that we are saved. I pray for the listeners, Lord God, that they will feel the joy of the Lord. And today is the day of salvation. And Lord, bring peace. Bring peace. Gently bring that peace to our hearts now. I thank you for the listeners. Calm their hearts and their minds. Let their hearts smile. Let their eyes radiate the love of Jesus. Let their lives reflect Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, thank you. God, we adore you. Jesus, we thank you that we are walking with you. Sister and brother, wherever you are, never give up. Never give up. Jesus loves you. And this prayer family loves you too. You are not alone. Until tomorrow. Thank you for joining us for this emergency prayer. As we just felt in our hearts in this studio, especially myself, that Philippians 4, 6, and 7 was needed. This emergency prayer against anxiety. Come on, let's rise in faith until tomorrow.
