Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. This is your five-minute commute of prayer, quick fired moments of faith to carry us through the rest of the day.
Whatever platform you're listening to, whether it's Apple, Spotify, Buzz Sprout, please can you leave us a quick short review? Also, you can find us on RB Christian Radio 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You know, listening to the word, listening to worship, whatever is going on in your life. I pray that wherever you are around the world, that the Spirit of the Lord will carry
you. Today is the day of salvation. We are praying for the persecuted church today. We're going to pray right now wherever we are at this hour. We're pushing these prayers out. We've been praying against worry, anxiety, and doubt and all the big hitters across the world. But today, we are just going to lay these down at this moment in time. And I invite you in. I'm inviting you in right now to lock shields with me, to get into that rugby scrum together, and we're going to push right now, and we're going to push the word of God over the touchline in the mighty
name of Jesus Christ. Father, we thank you for 2 Corinthians 4 verses 8 through to 9. We are hard-pressed on every side but not crushed. Perplexed but not despaired. Persecuted but not abandoned. Struck down but not destroyed. Father, I thank you in the name of Jesus for the persecuted
church. And wherever they are gathering across the world, believers are gathering in hidden rooms, remote villages, silent houses, forest clearings, basements. Lord, we thank you, dear God, that the power of God is moving. We believe wherever people are, from East Dan Bul, dear God, to Cairo, from Cairo to Beijing, from Beijing, dear God, to Kabul, from Kabul all the way to North South Korea. Father, all the way to Afghanistan, Iran, Eritrea. We believe Sudan is being washed in the blood of Jesus. We believe that the persecuted church is rising. And Lord, we pray, Father, for our brothers and sisters that are in hostile environments. We pray, dear God, as surveillance, Lord, homes in on them. We pray for the hostility, the imprisonment, the threat, everything that comes along with being a Bible-believing believer. Lord, we thank you that the scriptures are taking the believers underground. We thank you that the church is going deep into the word of God. And we thank you, dear God, for the families. We thank you for the pastors and the leaders, the worshippers, dear God, that worship under threat, the worshippers that worship in house. Lord, we thank you for those that are imprisoned because of their faith in Jesus Christ, the displaced families in the world of the persecuted church.
Father, we pray right now for supernatural protection over the hidden believers. We're praying for courage during terrible times of threat. We're praying for strength for prisoners of faith. We're praying, dear God, for safety over the underground gatherings. As they gather underground, we're praying for boldness and strength. We're praying, Father God, that Christ will move in such a power, such an anointing that the secret church, the believers church, the whispering church will get into that anointing like never before. So, Father, wherever they are, Lord, we thank you that they're not crushed, they're not abandoned, they're not displaced, but Father Lord, they are rising in the name of Jesus. We pray that shelter will be over their hearts, their minds, their bodies, their souls. Protect the underground
church. Lord God, we thank you, Father, for those that have been martyred for their faith. And Lord, we thank you, dear God, that they stood on the gospel of hope. And Lord, we pray for those that have left families behind. We pray for the families that have been left behind because their lives have been martyred for the gospel of Jesus. So Lord, wherever the house church is gathering, wherever the whispering church is gathering, Lord, we thank you, dear God, that the church of Jesus Christ, the body of Christ, is moving. Lord, bless every prison, bless every village, every region. Let the love of Jesus be poured out over the persecuted church right now. The secret church, the whispering church, the underground church, the church that is in chains for Jesus Christ, the church that is pushed down. Father, we believe that every nation that is trying to destroy Christianity, Lord, will be saved in the name of Jesus
Christ. Bless the listeners wherever they are today, Lord. Let the love of Jesus Christ be over their bones. Fill them to the full measure of thy glory. Father, we thank you for the good book, for we are pressed on every side, but we're not crushed, perplexed, but we're not despaired, persecuted, but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. Oh my Lord, what a beautiful scripture. May the Spirit of the living God be over you today. May the power of the anointing of God permeate through your bones. Just remind yourself you're blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow, let the joy of the Lord be your strength. God bless.
