Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. Sister and brother, we're living in very precarious times. And I want to tell you that God loves you and God is with you wherever you are. We're going to lock shields of faith in just a moment.
We're going to pray for the persecuted church, faith under fire. So let's lock in together. We're going to pray for certain areas around the world at this moment in time. And I want to encourage you right now, whatever your life looks like, whatever you are going through, I want to encourage you right now that the power and the anointing of God is over your life. We're going to pray for persecution and endurance.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I believe right now, as the globe intercedes for believers suffering across Iran, Afghanistan, Eritrea, and Sudan, the four most dangerous places on the earth to follow Jesus. Spirit of the living God, will you stir us like never before? So we bridge this gap. Lord, we bridge the gap right now for our brothers and sisters that are in prison for Jesus. Lord, we bridge the gap right now in the name of Jesus. And Lord, we hold up this word. We pray to Corinthians chapter 4, verses 8 through to 9. We are hard pressed on every side, but we're not crushed. Perplexed, we're not in despair. Persecuted, but we're certainly not abandoned. Struck down, but we're not destroyed. Father, I want to thank you for 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 8 through to 9. Lord, we're hard-pressed on every side. Dear God, we're crushed, but we're going to rise. We're going to stand.
Lord, we pray right now across Iran, Afghanistan, Eritrea, and Sudan. For believers that are following Jesus Christ under the most hardest persecuted places in the world. From London to New York to Australia. We stand as brothers and sisters on the gospel of hope. And we pray for the spoken word of God to touch hearts in prisons. We pray for those families that are left behind because brothers and sisters have been martyred for the faith of Jesus Christ. We pray today that you will lift every believer, dear God, that is being persecuted right now. As they whisper in silence, as they pray in silence, as they read in silence, as they shout in the name of Jesus in silence. We pray for the underground networks of church. We pray for those facing imprisonment. We pray for those that are under lock and key, prisoners of faith. We pray for those that are under house surveillance. We pray for hostile environments. We ask that the Holy Spirit will strengthen everyone that is being persecuted and the attempts to crush the church of Jesus Christ. We come against that right now. And we believe, dear God, in the name that is so powerful. We believe, dear God, as we pray for protection over the secret believers. We're praying for courage in Iran's underground church. We're praying for strength for Afghanistan, dear God, that you will believe and touch their hearts right now. We're praying, dear God, for relief in Eritrea, prisons of faith. We're praying, dear God, for safety over Sudan. Christians that are facing violence. The prayer, dear God, for hope right now in isolation. We're asking that the fire of God, the power of God, the anointing of God, we pray that you'll give them boldness to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We're praying for provision, dear God, for those that are displaced and Christian families across these areas. So Lord, we ask you right now from Iran, Afghanistan, dear God, Eritrea and Sudan. Let the world, dear God, pray for these areas, these prisoners of faith, our brothers and sisters in the secret church, the underground church, the lockdown church, the church that is on the run, the church that is being shot, the church is trying to
be crushed. We believe that God is reviving those four nations. Revive Iran, revive Afghanistan, revive Eritrea, revive Sudan in the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Move by your spirit, Lord, on every one of us today. God bless you. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow.
