Welcome And Purpose Of Prayer

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. This is your five-minute commuted prayer, quick fired moments of faith to carry us through the rest of the day. Wherever you are today, the power of God is over your life. We declare healing for your body. And this morning prayer, this hour prayer, this second prayer, this moment prayer, wherever you are, you are locking shields with each and every one of us.

And we're going to go to the great book of Isaiah 40, verse 31. Isaiah 40 verse 31. The morning prayer for strength, direction, endurance, clarity, and renewed hope. Come on, let's say this together. We're looking for strength, we're looking for direction, we're looking for endurance, clarity, and renewed hope. Father, as we read this scripture out, we believe in the power of God. And I pray for my brothers and sisters that are scattered around the world. I invite them in into this prayer moment, these moments as we gather. Lord, we thank you for the book of Isaiah 40, verse 31. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar like uh eagles with their wings. Father, in the name of Jesus, pour out your spirit right now. Lord, let there be

breakthrough. Lord, also we pray through Psalm 143, verse 8. Lord, show me the way that I should go. Show me the way that I should go. For to you I entrust my life. Father, we entrust our lives to you. But Lord, we're a little bit scared today. Lord, we're a little bit worried. Lord, we're praying for strength. We need serious strength today, Lord. We need divine intervention. We need direction. We need endurance. We need clarity. And dear God, we've got to renew this hope that we have. So, Father, wherever we are gathering from London to Mumbai, from Mumbai, dear God, to Seoul, to New York, Father, we pray for Sydney, Vancouver. Lord, wherever we are scattered at this global hour, we believe, dear God, that you are calling each and every one of us through this dailyprayer.uk to be a family of brothers and sisters that pray. This 24-hour, dear God, prayer chain as we are praying, as we are believing, this devotional cycle, dear God, we thank you for this prayer, devotional time that we are able to gather around the word of God. And wherever we are at this moment, we are searching for strength, we are searching for clarity, we're looking for direction. And Father, we thank you for the book of Isaiah 40, verse 31, that it remains one of the most powerful scriptures to anchor us into this situation, to anchor us down, to bring us to a place of hope, of divine

guidance. Lord, we are needing endurance. We come to you right now, Lord, as listeners gather around the world. Father, we pray. We pray, dear God, in the days in which we live, Lord, that you will renew this strength in every listener's heart, mind, body, and soul. Lord, we pray for those that feel really tired, those that feel stretched, those, dear God, that feel uncertain about certain things in their lives, that you will bring clarity for those that are seeking direction, calm to the mind, steady mess, steadiness, sorry, in emotions. Father, that you will guide every step. Lord, we thank you that you are guiding our lives. And right now we pray, dear God, Lord, when we're weary and when we're tired, we pray for endurance. Lord, we pray that there will be no hesitation in releasing courage. There will be no hesitation in the name of Jesus. And the fire of God and the power of God will bring, Lord God, the blood of Jesus over our lives. We are blessed and highly favored. And this hour we are praying for strength. We're praying for clarity. We're praying for God for direction. We're praying for renewal hope. We're praying for an endurance. We're praying for wisdom. We're praying for courage right now in the name of Jesus. Father, will you set the captives free today? We believe in the love of God. And right now we speak Isaiah 40, verse 31. We speak Psalm 143, verse 8. At this hour, over our lives, and we declare that God remains our strength. He leads every situation in our lives. Father, pour out your love around every listener today. Father, we pray that we will find strength and direction. We pray, dear God, for this Christian morning time together. As we gather, Lord, as we are looking for global prayers, as we are locking in, Father, wherever we are today, dear God, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the treadmill of life to the treadmill of the gym, wherever we are, Lord, on the school run, on the food run, bless us, press down, running over, shaking together. May the glory, may the power of God be over your lives.
