This is your five-minute commuter prayer. Quick fired moments of faith to carry us through the rest of the day. Wherever you are today, I pray that the love of Jesus Christ will be over your life and you will feel the presence and the love of God and the Holy Spirit will lead you. Yes, we are in a very powerful
season. Yes, it is dark out. Yes, it is gloomy wherever you are. But if you're here with me right now, close to the studio and wherever you are within the UK, you know the weather is very heavy, the oppression across the social media is heavy, the news is heavy, everything feels heavy at this season.
We're gonna come against uh loneliness, we're gonna come against isolation and feeling forgotten during this season. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for the listeners wherever they are around the world. If the sun is rising, if the sun is setting, we believe in the Lion of Judah, we believe in the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, we thank you that you are the great I am. But right now, Lord, through these quick-fired commuter prayers, Lord, we're not rushing it. We're taking our time, Father, and we come to you right now and we come against loneliness. Anyone that feels lonely at this season, anyone, dear God, is going through a breakdown, a breakup, dear God, loss of house, loss of family, loss of friends, whatever it may be, loss in any which way, bereavement, Father, we pray for those that feel really lonely. And Lord, we pray for those that are in large families, dear God, with people around them and at work and at home and got people around them, but are still feeling lonely. Lord, we need the loneliness to go.
And Lord, as we launch ourselves, as we dive into Psalms 38, verse 18, we believe that this early morning, this late day, whatever the time zone is, wherever the sun is rising and the sun is setting, we are praying for healing from loneliness, isolation, quiet pain, emotional emptiness, and feeling forgotten at this Christmas season. Lord, we pray that every heart under my voice right now will feel the love of Jesus. Father, wherever we sit, Lord, spiritually across the world, we pray for the love of God to be wrapped around every one of us. Those that just feel like they're isolated at this moment, everyone that is carrying quiet pain, everyone that feels emotionally empty and feeling forgotten at this season, those that are going through divorce right at this moment, those that are going through uh family breakdowns, those, dear God, that have their children, dear God, away with, those, dear God, that have lost a parent or a loved one or a friend in this season through the to the power of bereavement. Lord, we are praying for every area of isolation, loneliness, emotional pain, emotional emptiness, and feeling forgotten. Father, we pray today that wherever we are, we lock shields of faith, we carry each other, Lord, by the gospel of hope. And Father, we thank you for the power of prayer. And right now we lock in to Psalms 34, verse 8. And this is what the Bible says, sister and brother. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and he saves those who are crushed in spirit. Lord, we thank you for these beautiful scriptures because they're keeping us afloat, Lord. Lord, they're keeping our head above the storm right now in the name of Jesus, from the early hours to the late and the middle of the day. Wherever you are gathering, whatever your life is, whatever is happening around your life, we are praying that the love of God and the fire of God and the anointing of God will be with you wherever you are. Spirit of the living God, we search the heart, Father's heart. We search the Father's heart right now, Lord, and we want this loneliness to go, we want the fear to go. And Lord, also we make, dear God, the word of God, our anchor.
Lord, in the season in which we are living in, Father, we jump into the gospel of John 14, 18. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you, Jesus. You're telling us a clear statement in this prayer time as we lock together, Father, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the bus stop, from the bus stop, dear God, to the workplace, from the workplace to school to home, to life, to the field of life. Father, take the loneliness away, take the emptiness away. Father, put the joy of the Lord in our spirit wherever we are. Lord, you tell us through the gospel of John 14, verse 18, I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. Father, I pray for every heart now that is feeling so lonely and so fearful, that the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit will carry everyone right now in Jesus' name. Lord, cover us in the blood of Christ. Lord, set the captives free right now. Lord, we come to you, Lord, in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. And we are in expectation that our Lord will deliver us in Jesus' beautiful name.
Wherever you are across this world, may the Spirit of the Lord be over you from London to Lagos, from Lagos to China, from China to Hong Kong, from Hong Kong to Asia, wherever you are. Let the Spirit of the Lord be over you today. God bless. Until tomorrow.
