notes below. Wherever you are today, I say this all day, all the time, but the Spirit of the Lord is over you. God loves you. It is so critical. John 3 16 is over your life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus loves you. I've got to tell
you that right now. But we're going to pray for some for some certain areas that really need praying for. These are evergreen. We're always praying for these, and we're praying for grief that keeps resurfacing. We're praying for missing loved ones at this moment in time. We're praying for emotional heaviness, and we're praying, Lord, I can't get through Christmas without them. Lord, memories that keep coming back. Lord, quiet sadness behind this season. Father, in the name of Jesus, we're praying for healing from grief. Loss and missing loved ones at this season over Christmas. So Lord, we pray for those, dear God, as we cry this out at the ungodly hours, dear God, as we cry this from our heart, Lord, I can't get through this Christmas without them. For those that are going through grief, for those that are going through bereavement, missing loved ones, families that have been torn apart by war and conflict, just things that happen in the season of life. Father, these prayers are so deep and so wide and stretched right out across the boardroom table. So, Father, we pray for every listener right now as we anchor into the beautiful word
of God. As Lord, as we lay our lives in Psalm 147, verse 3, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Father, this scripture is evergreen today. This scripture just keeps coming alive. This scripture, Father God, we need this word in our heart. And Father, I pray for the listeners. I invite those that are broken in. I invite those that are suffering loss and pain at this moment in time. Lord, I invite every heart with me now. And Lord, we claim the word of God over all of our lives. Father, I pray for Psalm 147, verse 3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Father, we thank you for the beautiful word
of God. And at the midday hour, at the evening hour, at the early door of the day, Father, as the sun rises and as the sun sets, Father, we pray for the sharpness, the sharp pain of grief, the overwhelming presence of missing loved ones during this season. Father, we need your comfort, we need your strength, we need your love. Lord, heal us and strengthen us in this season. Father, today, I bring you my grief, I bring you my pain, I bring you my memories, I bring this deep ache for loved ones at this time, and we need your healing presence. Father, the world can't see, but Lord, as the Holy Spirit sees in our lives right now, as the world cannot see, there are memories churning in our spirit, as the world can't see that we're going through grief, as the world can't see. We've got loved ones that we're missing at this season, as the world cannot see. This inside of us, Lord, there is an empty chair in the dining room. Lord, there is an empty chair in the sitting room. There is an empty chair in the workspace. Lord, we pray for every empty chair at this season. And Lord, we ask you, dear God, for strength in the name of Jesus. Through this quiet prayer time, as we gather together, I pray for all those that will be worried about the empty chair. We pray, dear God, for that empty chair, Lord. We pray that as we look at the empty chair, as we see the empty sofa, as we hear, dear God, the quietness of that voice missing at the season. Come, Holy Spirit, carry our pain. Help us today. Lord, we need the compassion of the Holy Spirit to carry us through this season of loss. Lord, help us today. But Lord, we love you. And Lord, we lock in.
We lock right in to Revelation 21, verse 4. He will wipe every tear from every eye. Father, wipe the tears. Carry the listeners right now. And Father, that empty chair that is in our mind and our spirit, Father, Lord, help us to smile. Help us to gain strength right now at this season. Come, God, we need you. Father, we bless you. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you wherever you are today. Thank you for staying with us. Thank you for praying with us. But let the Lord carry the weight of the empty chair. In Jesus' name. Amen.
