Naming Christmas Anxiety And Fear

We are sitting in the month of December, tension is high, fear is running wild. We are skint. We need more money, Jesus. Father, what is going on? Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you right now, Lord, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will lead us right now. And Lord, in all seriousness, Father, this month, Father, this hour, this moment, Father, we have Christmas anxiety. Father, this Christmas, Father, seems to be very hard and very dark. And Lord, it feels like it's such an

emotional press right now. So Lord, wherever we are gathering right now, we're praying at the midnight hour as the sun rises, as the sun sets, we're praying, dear God, for healing from Christmas anxiety, emotional overload to be gone at the name of Jesus. Father, we're praying for fear that overtakes us during the season, season time that we're in. Father, wherever we are scattered across this world, we need the fire of God from London to New York, from New York to Sydney, Toronto, Cape Town, Singapore, wherever we are across the world, we thank you that the Spirit of the Lord is over us as we recall this live here in London, England. And Father, we scrum down together today. Lord, we lock shields of faith.

Isaiah 41:10 Over The Season

And Father, we pray through Isaiah 41, verse 10, so that you do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Father, we thank you that you are our God. But at this season, Lord, in this moment in time, Father, we pray within the Western world, Father, there's some serious drum beats that are beating at this moment. Lord, the news channels are as hot as they've ever been. Lord and Father, we need Jesus Christ in our lives. And we pray right now that the peace of God, the love of God, the glory of God, through this time, through this season, Lord, that you will give us rest in the name of Jesus. Lord, so we will not fear. Lord, that you are with us in every situation of our lives. Father, we pray for Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Father, as we lock shields of faith

John 14:27 And Final Blessing

around the world, Father, give us relief from Christmas anxiety, emotional overload, fear for the season ahead. Father, we believe that the word of God is in our lives. And tonight, Jesus, we come to you. Lord, we're anxious, we're doubtful. Lord, we're not sure, Father, if we can face this Christmas. Lord, we ask you that you will lift us and carry us. Heal these thoughts, these emotions. Father, do something radical in our lives. We've got to find a place where our heart can rest in the name of Jesus. Heal our heart at this season. And Lord, we thank you. There is power in the name of Jesus. And Lord, through the anxious thoughts of uh these months that we're in, Father, through the cold night, through the dark days. Lord, we need John 14, 27. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Father, we need peace right now because we are entering into this season, dear God, of emotional torture, pain, worry, and fear, Lord. And I ask you that you will bless the listeners. Father, let the Lion of Judah bless them today, wherever they are. May peace rest over their lives, may their emotions be calm in the season that we are at, at this December season, over this Christmas time. Lord, let the peace of God we pray for peace. We pray for calm. We pray for strength, for clarity, for healing, for courage. And Lord, we pray for rest. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you today, wherever you are.
