Wherever you are gathering right now, whether you're on the field of life, whether you're on the ice of life, whether you are looking down right now as you walk across that chasm on that tight rope of life, as you are balancing everything, as we are spinning plates. I believe that the glory of God is over your life. Welcome to prayer today.
Come on, let's knuckle down. We got some serious stuff we're praying for at the moment. We're in the crazy month of December. We know Jesus Christ has come as the coming King, and we know that the Redeemer lives, and because he lives, we can face tomorrow. But brother and sister, we are waiting for the second coming of Jesus.
And as we wait for Jesus, as we hit this month of December full ball right now, as we are jumping right in, I pray for everyone that is looking towards the Christmas, the 25th, and they start to see the empty chair at Christmas. There will be many tables, there will be many homes, there will be many scenarios where there's an empty chair at Christmas.
Father, we come to you right now, and Lord, we pray for strength at this moment. Lord, as we face looking at the Christmas table, looking at the Christmas tree, looking at life, and realizing that loved one and that friend and that situation, Lord, has passed by. And Lord, there is an empty chair at Christmas. And Lord, we ask you, Father, that you will bring peace, you will bring love right now and healing.
So Lord, as we dive straight into Psalms 147, verse 3, Lord, at this midnight hour, at the early doors, as the sun is rising, as the sun is setting, Father, we pray for healing from grief, loss, and the empty chair at Christmas. We stand, dear God, on the word of God, and we believe Psalms 147, verse 3 is for each and every one
of us. And at this moment, Lord, wherever we are gathering, dear God, from London, Toronto, Toronto to Sydney, Cape Town, Boston, Belfast, Brazil, New York, let the Spirit, let the glory of God, as we recall this live here in London, England, as we lock shields of faith with our daily prayer family, brother and sister. Come on, let's lock in together.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you that He heals broken hearts and he winds up and he heals and he wraps up and he locks up the wounds of those, dear God, at this season. Lord, we come to you. Lord, also we stand in the book of Revelation 21, verse 4. He will wipe every tear from your eyes. Sister and brothers, we are in prayer, as you look at that empty chair, as you know that that sofa will never be sat on by your loved one or your friend ever again. I believe God is going to give you peace. As relationship uh areas of life are broken down, and we know that certain things will never happen in a certain pattern anymore. I pray for peace over your
life. But that empty chair at Christmas, the emotional weight, Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray, dear God, as we search for peace. Lord, we pray, dear God, at the peak of grief right now. Lord, we feel sick, we feel scared, and the emotional weight, dear God, of the empty chair at Christmas. Lord, we pray right now that you will bring comfort, you will bring strength during this season, dear God, of remembering and longing. For those that are in remembering postures right now, for those that are longing right now, we bring those hearts that are aching, those areas of life that are empty. We pray for healing from pain, from missing the loved one or the friend, someone that was so dear to our lives, Lord. Relationships that are broken right now, that are busted at this hour, Lord. We pray for comfort at moments of memories where memories arise, the silent feeling of heaviness as hearts are aching and the loneliness and the longing. Lord, let lives be healed today. We pray for healing for grief, we pray for comfort, we're praying for healing, prayer for peace, prayer for strength, prayer for hope, and prayer for emotional restoration.
May the Spirit of the Lord be over you wherever you are today. Hold on to the word of God. God loves you and He sees that empty chair. Never give up in Jesus' name.
