Lament Over A Commercialised Season

straight in. Father, in the name of Jesus, this season is still, Lord, giving me grief in the name of Jesus. Lord, I thank you that Jesus Christ came and the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. But Lord, the world has commercialized Christmas and Lord, I'm getting fed up. Lord, all I want is my Jesus. Lord, I go around the shops and I don't see Jesus. Lord, I go to work and I don't see Jesus. All I see is paganistic traits. All I see is ritualistic ways. Lord, all I see is people and situations, dear God, that are serving foreign gods. I just want to serve Jesus. I just want to see Jesus Christ. Lord, I just want Jesus in my life like never before. Lord, I pray right now, Lord, as we go around the shops, as we do what we've got to do, Lord, and we've got to go to work and we've got to go to the nativities that are not really nativities anymore because everything's happening under the sun. Spirit of the living God, I pray, I pray that you will bring peace at this season. And we will remember that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. So at this season, we recognize Jesus Christ came into the world. I thank you, dear God, for Jesus Christ. Lord revealing himself to this

Praying For Loneliness And The Forgotten

world. But Lord, now we are praying in early doors for healing for loneliness, emptiness, and feeling forgotten right now. Lord, many of us feel forgotten. Lord, we're in large ministries, we're in large churches, we're in large families, Lord. We're in large areas of work. We've got people around us. And Lord, for those that have got no one around them, for those that literally have no one around them, Father, I pray for a double portion over their lives at this season. But Lord, for all of us, whether at work, whether at home, we're at we're chatting at the school gates, we're at work, we're in the van, we're in the car, we're commuting, we're we're this, we're that. Father, I just pray, Lord, for those that feel lonely because Lord, it's a horrible feeling, Jesus. And Lord, I pray for all those hearts, Lord, that are crying out for help. Spirit of the living God, I thank you, Lord, that this morning, that this hour, Lord, wherever we are, dear God, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the food shop run for this crazy season in which we're in. And Lord, I pray for wherever we are gathered around the world, from London to Vancouver, Vancouver to Chicago, all the way, dear God, to Melbourne, uh, Dublin, dear God, France, the Ukraine, all these nations around the world.

Anchoring In Psalm 34:18

SPEAKER_00

Father, as we lock in in this 24-hour daily prayer cycle, family that we are locking in, Spirit of the Living God, we claim, we walk, we hold on to Psalm 34, verse 18. We believe that these scriptures for us today, we believe that the word of God, we believe that the voice of God, the whisper of God, the heartbeat of God is getting us through this month of commercialized December. Lord, we don't want commercialized December. We want, dear God, our Jesus. We want our King to take his place. We want the Lord of Lords to break through. So right now, Lord, we hold on, we lock in to Psalm 34, 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

Strength From Deuteronomy 31:8 And Closing

SPEAKER_00

I pray that wherever you are, that we lock in and come on, we gotta anchor down, we've got to get on the rugby uh field of life and we gotta scrum down and let's get into Deuteronomy 31, verse 8. Spirit of the living God. The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you. Father, I thank you that you've gone before us in the rugby scrum of life. Lord, you've already treaded and trod the boards of life. Father, you've gone before us. You're before us, you're to the left, the right, the north, the east, the south, the west. Spirit of the living God, cover us today in the love of Jesus because this month is tough, Lord. Lord, we don't want commercialized December. We want our God and our King to be exalted. So right now, Lord, we thank you that you have gone before, according to Deuteronomy 31 8. The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you. I gotta tell you wherever you are, God has gone before you and He is with you. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you until tomorrow.
