Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily devotion and global hope. Sister and brother, I've got to tell you right now, as we watch the news channels live here in this studio, I really believe that we are getting ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ. And I gotta tell you right now, there are nations buckling under the pressure of war, of famine, humanitarian aid.
You know what we are seeing right now across the news channels, and we pray also uh for that area of Australia, them terrible atrocities that have been happening out there, the shootings. We just pray right now that God will move. It's such a difficult prayer. You know, it's really, really difficult to pray for, and we pray, dear God, have mercy on those. Lord, it is such a big prayer. But brother and sister, we got to jump straight in, you know, and our prayers and our thoughts are with all those families right now that are going through yesterday's that on that Jewish event, you know, on Sydney on Bondi Beach. Father, we pray before we go any further, Lord, that you will bless, dear God, all the families that are caught in that Holy Spirit, Lord, we don't know how to pray, but Lord, just let your love and your peace be over them.
And Lord, also right now, Lord, as we pray for Australia right now, we pray for Haiti, Ukraine, Myanmar, and the Yemen. Lord, as we are watching the news break out live in this studio here in London, Father, we're asking you, wherever we are positioned, whatever posture we're in, from London to Port Paolo, dear God, from Port Paolo, dear God, to Venezuelia, from Venezuelania to Italy, from Italy to France, from France, dear God, all around the world. Lord, let your love and your mercy, dear God, go through Tokyo right now, Hong Kong and China. Lord, we need your love, Father, right the way around the world. Father, the whole world needs your presence. But Lord, as we lock in, Father, Lord, wherever we are on the school run, dear God, on the food run, dear God, on the field of life, Father, just in the stillness, Father, we feel the heaviness of the world at this moment. Lord, the news channels, the fears, the doubts, the wars, the rumbles of wars, Lord, the famines. Lord, as we are waiting for the second coming of Jesus Christ, we pray, Lord, right now for the
love of God. We pray for Haiti, Lord, this spiring violence that is happening out there right now, Lord, this national instability. Father, we need, dear God, your love and your presence, your mercy, Lord, to move right the way through. Lord, we ask you to move over Haiti right now. Lord, the violence, dear God, that is out of control. Lord, bring calm and bring love. Lord, we all were very aware of the Ukraine, the winter conflict, Lord, is escalating, Lord, the war and all the stuff that's going on in the Ukraine. Please, Father, Lord, bring peace. Lord, my Holy Spirit, there is so much civil unrest, Lord, and so much displacement. Lord, bring peace. Bring your love. Holy Spirit, we're asking you right now that you will move through the Yemen. Lord, the food that is needed, Lord, the ongoing conflict, this humanitarian emergency that's going on. Father, bless Yemen. Lord, move right away through Myanmar, Ukraine, and Haiti. And as we come before you, Lord, in the midnight hour, in the early door of the day, as the sun sets, as the sun rises, Lord, Lord Jesus, not only have we got December, Lord, to contend with, Lord, we got the news channels, we got the fear of life, the fear of the bullet, the fear, dear God. Even when families, dear God, are gathering on the Jewish event, dear God, of Hanukkah. Father, in the name of Jesus in Sydney, yesterday, Lord God, we can't believe what we're hearing, what we're seeing, Lord, across America, across the Yemen, the Ukraine, Spirit of the Living God. We pray for all those families that have been affected on Bondi uh Beach. We just pray, dear God, for the communities, Spirit of the Living God, Lord. We are so displaced around the world. Lord, there is so much anger and frustration in the world. We need you,
Jesus. But Lord, we anchor into Psalms 46, verse 1. God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Come, Holy Spirit, we are in trouble. We are in trouble in every nation, every tribe, every tongue. We need the King. And Lord, we lay in Psalm 113 as well, verse 4. The Lord is exalted over all the nations. Be exalted over all the nations today, God. Wherever we are around the world, bring global peace, bring rest to every heart, all the attacks, all the lives that are being lost around the world. Please, God, help us understand in Jesus' name. May God bless you wherever you are around the world. We are in the end days. Jesus Christ is coming back. May the love of God be over you. Never give up. Until tomorrow.
