Welcome to Daily Prayer. With myself Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. Brother and sister, wherever you are across the world, may the love, may the power of God be with you. We're jumping straight into prayer and we are praying for something that's really needed.
We're praying for financial peace before Christmas. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, as we're on a commute run wherever we are around the world, Father, we pray today for this financial prayer for peace, dear God, before Christmas. Lord, we're worried about the financial issues of our lives. Lord, we need help.
And today, Lord, we jump straight in to Psalm 23, verse 1. Lord, we believe that the Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. Father, through this season, through this strain, through this pain, through this moment, Lord, we really need your divine intervention because, Lord, the funds are not making it. Lord, we need help. Father, wherever we are around the world, Father, we just pray today for breakthrough, Lord, for financial areas. Lord, there is stress, there is worry. Lord, we are worried about the financial implications of this commercialized Christmas. Lord, we don't know what to do. Lord, the wages have come in and the wages are going. Father, help us in the name of the glorious name of Jesus Christ. But right now, Lord, we thank you that we are gathered around the Word of God. And Lord, as we stand together as brothers and sisters, Lord, we're asking for financial peace before Christmas. Lord, this global prayer for provision, calm, and God's care. Lord, please, we cry out to you right now. In these pressurized days, we need our God and we need our King. Lord, wherever we are gathering, from London to New York, Johannesburg to Vancouver, Singapore and Dublin. Lord, as we recall this life here in London, England, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit. Lord, not only do we hold on to Psalm 23, verse 1, the Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. I thank you, Lord, that we're lacking nothing. That God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, we got bills to meet. Lord, we're worried about mortgages rent. We're worried about putting fuel in the car. We're worried about the Christmas food. Lord, we're worried about the mortgages. Lord, every area of life. Lord, the list is so long. My mind, Father God, is just wayward at the moment, dear God, of the financial implications and the financial pressure that sits on us as human beings. And I know, Lord, what you say, do not conform to the pattern of the world. But Lord, help us. Father, we pray for supernatural provision today.
Lord, and not only do we hold into Psalm 23, verse 1, Lord, we rest in the book of Philippians 4.19. And my God will meet all your needs according to thy riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Lord, there are some serious needs. Father, there are some serious areas of our lives that need meeting. Lord, we are worried. We are scared. But Lord, we're going to rise in faith. We're going to believe that our God is providing. Lord is going to provide. There is provision on the way. God is love. God is power. God is authority. And right now, as we come before you in the midnight hour, at the daybreak, as the sun rises, as the sun sets, Lord, will you remove this financial worry? Lord, will you bring calm? And will you remove the anxious thoughts that rest in our heart right now, at this time of year, in this season? Lord, we're worried about the season. Lord, there is something different about this season that doesn't seem right. Lord, it feels strange. It feels unusual. Lord, come, Holy Spirit. We need you in our lives. Father, we need an outpouring of the glory of God. And right now we're trusting in God's timing. Lord, we need your wisdom. We need your supernatural, dear God, strength. Lord, we need the divine. We need the power. We need the glory. Right now, Lord, open doors that we cannot do ourselves. Close doors of the past. Lord, we're worried about debt. We're worried about the financial implications of this season. Lord, we are trying not to panic, but Lord, panic is arising. Fear, dear God, is beating our heart today. Lord, give us clarity and peace. Lord, you are our provider, and we thank you that all things are possible to those who believe. Lord, we love the
word of God. We love this time together as we rot down, as we get down on the field of life. Lord, as we get down in that Christian rugby scrum of life, we pray together, we push together, we lock in. And Father, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the classroom, from the classroom to the school run, wherever we are gathering.
