Father, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we're finding it difficult this month. Lord, we're feeling a little bit lonely. Lord, we're in a crowd at work. We're in a crowd at home. We're in a crowd in ministry. Lord, wherever we are, we pray for those that are in a crowd but still feel lonely. And we pray for those that are at home on their own that are extremely lonely. Those, dear God, that are walking life and they just feel really lonely and tired and weary. We're praying for grief right now. We're praying for those that are going through grief and the loneliness of the season, the dark days, the dark nights, the rain's coming, the snow is
flowing. Lord, Spirit of the Living God, we are praying also for that empty chair at Christmas. Holy Spirit, we pray for the loneliness. We pray for the grief. We pray, dear God, for the terror, the worries, the fears, the lack of, the moments, dear God, as we look at the empty chair in the front room, we look at the chair at the dining room table. We look at the chair at work, we look at the chair around that empty chair. Lord, I pray wherever we are gathering from London, Toronto, Toronto, Manila, Cape Town, Oslo, Sao Paulo, Holy Spirit, as we record this right now, we ask you, dear God, we speak comfort into every room where there is a chair that sits empty tonight. Lord, we pray, dear God, for every house, every home, every ministry, every church chair, every desk, every area of life, dear God, where there is an empty chair. Come, Jesus. Lord, this month is difficult.
But Lord, we stand on the prayers of David on the Psalm 34, verse 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And Lord, we thank you, Lord, for that beautiful book, that beautiful scripture in Revelation 21, verse 4. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Lord, wipe our eyes. We pray for those hearts, dear God, that are weeping quietly. We pray, dear God, for those that keep smiling. Lord, and they're not displaying any tears on their face, but inside they are crying. Inside they are lonely. Inside they are broken. Inside they are crushed. Inside they're scared. Inside they're weary. Come, Jesus. We need you today. And Lord, as we search around the world for answers, Lord, bring us to this one place and one place only, to the cross
of Calvary. We are praying that loneliness will go, missing the loved one right now in the name of Jesus, the empty chair grief situation. Lord, as we are feeling a surge of worry, a surge of panic, a surge of doubt. Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for every listener now facing loneliness and grief tonight. Comfort those who feel the ache of the empty chair, the quietness in the room, the empty chair at school, at work, at church, in the front room, at the dining room table. For those that just feel very sorrowful at this moment. They just feel very heavy because of the memories that keep cutting deep in December. The memories that are cutting so deep right now. Lord, in the name of Jesus, draw near to every heart that is broken. Lord, draw near to every heart that is crying. Surround them with warmth, strength, and assurance. But let your presence fill that silent place with hope, with love. Lord, breathe into every home tonight. Breathe into every human tonight. Lord, I ask you that you will wipe every tear from the inside out. That you will wipe those tears from their face. You will wipe them tears, dear God, as it is raining in people's hearts right now. Spirit of the living God, we need you in our lives.
Come, Holy Spirit, bless us we pray, wherever we are tonight, whatever our life looks like. I pray for listeners now under the sound of my voice. Bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. May the Lord carry you until tomorrow. Never give up. God bless.
