Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength in the mighty name
of Jesus Christ. Father, we pray for breakthrough in our lives. We pray that the Holy Spirit, we pray for the power of God, we pray for the love of Jesus Christ. Father, that you will speak to us right now. But wherever we are gathering, Father, we pray tonight that our hearts, we pray for minds. We pray today, Lord, that you will lift every heart, every body, every mind, every soul. Father, we are praying for those that are tired, those that are weary, those that are exhausted. But Father, we pray for the empty chair that is at Christmas time. Father, we pray, dear God, for the missing voice. We pray, dear God, for the quietness of the aching nights of December. We pray for the families that are torn apart. We pray for the love of God. Lord, we believe in miracles, but right now, we believe in Psalms 34, verse 18. Lord, we're praying for the loneliness. We're praying for those that get lonely, those that are going through grief. Those, dear God, that are staring at an empty chair right now in their homes, at their school, at their workspace. Father, we're praying for loved ones that have taken and gone too soon. Father, we're praying, dear God, that you will wipe the tear off everyone's face. But Lord, also we pray for those that are crying within. Lord, they're still smiling, but Father, they're crying within. Lord, it is raining in their heart. They're fearful, they're worried, they're doubtful. Spirit of the living God, we pray. Wherever we gather right now across this globe, Father, we thank you that there is power in the name
of Jesus. But Lord, we lay, we walk, we rest in Psalms 34, verse 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Lord, there are so many of us that have been crushed and are still crushed in spirit. Lord, there are so many of us, Lord, with broken hearts. Lord, help us, carry us, fill us with the goodness of God, fill us with peace. Lord, at this season, Lord, this season is scary. This season, dear God, is fierce. But Lord, we believe that Revelation 21, verse 4 is for each and every one of us. The Bible tells us, sister and brother, don't ever give up. This is what the word says. He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Father, as we gather in the name of Jesus, whatever the hour is, whatever the time zone is, help us to kick off the duve. Help us to get out of the bed. Lord, give us energy, give us strength. But right now I bring every listener's heart before you, Lord, those that are aching, dear God, with absent family members, for whatever reason, Lord, as they look at the empty chair, Lord, as they see their lives have been completely transformed by death, by grief, by loss, by lack, dear God, whatever it is, Lord, we pray that the hand of God for those that are facing Christmas without someone, dear God, that they love. I pray for the parents that are gone too soon, the children, any human being in anybody's life. Lord, I pray that you will fill the vacuum of loneliness, the silence, Father, the questions that bounce from ear to ear, head to head, Spirit of the Living God, lift the heaviness, Father, that settles in this terrible month of December, these long, drawn-out nights. Father, we pray against commercialized December and we pray for everyone right now.
But we believe that this is breakthrough. We believe that there is joy. We believe that there is hope. Father, we pray for those that are battling quiet emotions, Lord, in their hearts. Those that are battling wherever they are, dear God, those that are skating on the on the ice of life. Father, we pray, Lord, that you help us to get across the lake. Lord, that this ice won't break, that we will just skate across and get through to safety. So, Father, wherever we are, from London to Delhi, from Delhi to Cape Town, from Cape Town to Dublin, from Dublin to Wellington, from Wellington all the way around the world, Spirit of the Living God, let comfort arise today. We believe that there is breakthrough. We believe in the hand of God. We believe that there is comfort for those that are grieving. We believe that there is peace for the lonely human being. Strengthen those that are missing loved ones at this hour. Father, our hearts are aching. We are weary and we are tired and we are exhausted. But today, we believe in miracles because you are the God of all gods. You are the
king above all kings. And today we need the Lion of Judah in our life. Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. Father, bless the listeners wherever they are around the world. Father, tell them that the Lord is with them. Father, let them feel the love of Jesus. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow, never give up.
