Welcome And Theme Of Burdens

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Rover Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength in Jesus' name. Sisters and brothers, you know, I know the battle belongs to the Lord. I know that we're weighed down with suitcases. I know we're weighed down with rucksacks. We're buckling under the weight and the heaviness of pulling stuff from yesterday and holding stuff down.

Starting A Prayer To Let Go

SPEAKER_00

Shall we pray before we go any further that the Lord will give us the strength to let go of everything that is in our surroundings? Father, in the name of Jesus, will you help us to let go? Because Lord, right now, there's enough grief in our life. Lord, we got lonely hearts, Lord, at this moment. Lord, we got an empty chair at Christmas. So, Father, right now, wherever we are, across the world, I bring the listeners before you. I pray, dear God, as you wipe their tears. I pray, dear God, for those, dear God, that are not crying externally, but dear God, it's raining in their heart. Lord, they are exhausted internally. They're trying to smile, they're trying to smile through the pain. And Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you, dear God, that you will carry the brothers and sisters now.

Global Intercession Across Cities

SPEAKER_00

So Lord, as we gather from London all the way to Singapore, from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, dear God, all the way through Amsterdam. Lord, we pray, dear God, for Venezuela. We pray for Hong Kong. Lord Jesus, we pray for the globe today. Lord, we ask that New Delhi will be saved. We pray, dear God, for the Yemen, Colombo, Spirit of the Living God. Lord, we are

Come To The Cross For Rest

way down. And there's only one place I got to get, and that's to the cross of Calvary. I got to get to the cross. And Father, as I get to the cross, I carry my brothers and sisters, those that have got broken hearts, those that feel crushed in spirit today. Lord, wipe their tears, wipe their pain, carry their hearts. But Lord, I'm still ladened. I'm still weary. You are telling us, come to me, all of you that are weary and heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Sister and brother, will you come to the cross with me? Wherever you are, can you pause a moment? We're going to pray together. Lord, as we pray together, Father, I thank you for the listeners. Lord, I pray that you will lift the baggage. Lord, I pray, dear God, that you will undo their grip, undo my grip on these suitcases of history.

Releasing Baggage And Forgiving

SPEAKER_00

Help me, Lord. I want to forgive. I want to move on. Lord, I don't want to live in yesterday. I don't want to live in another Christmas. I don't want to live in another Easter. I don't want to live in another month back. I want to live by faith. I want freedom. So Lord, all the people, dear God, that have drawn situations to us, Lord, through abuse, through the fears, through life, through relationships, Lord, whatever we've got in the suitcase, whatever is on our back at this moment, dear God, in the rucksack of life, Father, we need help through

Scripture Comfort For The Brokenhearted

this season. And Lord, I pray right now over the listeners, over their hearts, that Psalm 34, verse 18, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Lord, and we thank you for that beautiful book of Revelation 21:4. He wipes every tear from their eyes. The God that we serve is with you. He loves you unconditionally. And he's calling you right now by name. He's saying, Come to me, all of you that are weary. Are you weary? Come now.

Naming Grief And Empty Chairs

SPEAKER_00

Are you tired? Come now. But Lord, I've got so many plates spinning. I don't know what to do. Lord, I ain't got time to pray. I ain't got time to read the Bible. Lord, help me. My life is so chaotic. I'm trying to keep it together, but Lord, I'm lonely, but I'm in a large family. I'm missing someone, but I've got people around me. Lord, I'm trying to be happy, but there's grief at this Christmas. Search my heart, God. Lord, I pray for every empty chair. Every empty chair at this Christmas time. I pray for hearts that are longing for loved ones that are gone to soon. I'm praying for those, dear God, that are going through emotional breakdown at this moment in time. I'm praying, dear God, for those, dear God, that have got marriages that are stretched and torn and those that are going through divorce. I'm praying, dear God, for the family that's been separated through violence and warfare. Lord, we're praying, dear God, for the empty chair. The empty room. Lord, the slippers that won't never move. The phone won't never call like it used to. The dressing gown that hangs still on the back of the bathroom door. Lord, the car that won't never drive out the garage in the same way. Holy Spirit, we come to you at this season. And Lord, I'm not frightened to tell the world I got baggage. And I want the baggage gone. But Lord, this season is tough. I've got to tell you, Jesus, this Christmas, this December, it's a tough one, Jesus. This is feeling heavy on me. And Lord, I pray for the listeners around the world that as we gather under the word of God through this season, Lord, that you will carry heavy hearts, that you will breathe comfort into our lungs. And Father, we thank you for the love of Jesus Christ that is over our lives. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you through this season. You are not alone, God is with you. God is with you, and I've got to tell you right now, don't ever give up. Don't ever give up.
