Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. Brother and sister, come on, let's scrum down together. Let's lock in on the rugby field of life. The spirit of the Lord is over each and every one of you. And we welcome you right now, wherever we are gathering for these minutes of hope, these minutes of power and anointing. I need you to pray for me and I'm gonna pray for you. Wherever you are, please pray for each and every one of us.
The Lord God is with us, but we are living in end days. We are living in very spiritual, very powerful moments on this earth. Father, in the name of Jesus, we're praying for the night hour. Lord, we're praying for this hour right now in the name of Jesus. Father, we're asking that night anxiety will go. We need, dear God, to be filled afresh. Lord, we need to feel that this restlessness and this troubled sleeping has gone. So, Father, as we gather from Vancouver to London, from London to Dubai, from Dubai, Cape Town, Saint Paulo, Lord, Brazil, Lord the Scilly Islands, all the way, dear God, right the way through every town, every village, every nation. Spirit of the Living God, as we recall this live here in London, England, Father, set the fire of God on us today. Lord, anoint us today because Lord, we gotta sleep. Lord, we're tired, we're exhausted, the whole world is worn out. Spirit of the Living God, and Lord, we pray for this crazy month for December. Lord, this pressurized month. Lord, it feels like it's a pressure cooker about to explode. And Father, there's not enough money, there's not enough time left. Lord, we are weary, we are tired, we can't keep up with this
rhythm of the world. But Lord, I hear you tell me, Ben, whatever you do, don't conform to the pattern of the world. So, Lord, why do I do it? Lord, why do I get myself so anxious? Why am I so restless? Lord, why am I having trouble sleeping? Father, I've got to trust you more. Lord, I've got to walk more in Jesus. I want to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, I want to do exactly what Psalm 4 verse 8 says. In peace I will lie down and sleep. Father, this word keeps arising this week. Lord, over the last few weeks, this psalm keeps lifting us. Lord, this psalm keeps arising in our spirit. This psalm keeps coming to the prayer for. Father, in the name of Jesus, we believe
that Psalm 4 verse 8 is for each and every one of us. In peace I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Father, help us to dwell in safety. Help me, dear God. For you alone, Lord, it is only you. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. But Father, help us to lay down and to lay down in peace. Lord, we need the glory. We need the love of God. We need the favor of God. We need the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives. And Father, we come to the cross of Calvary and we cry out, John 14, 27. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Lord, we cannot be afraid. But Lord, I got a feeling in the skin. Lord, I got this feeling that I don't like. Lord, my heart feels troubled. We're weary. We're tired. We, dear God, feel the tension of December. We feel the weight, dear God, of the season. And we come to you in the most beautiful name. And we come in
the name of Jesus. Lord, every listener, every heart, every mind, Lord, the pressure that we are under at this moment. Lord, remove the pressure. I'm sorry, Lord, where we fail you. I'm sorry, Lord, where we go our own way. But Lord, please, we need peace tonight. Lord, as we wait, Lord, help us to kick the duvet off. And Lord, get up and get out of the house in the name of Jesus. Father, I pray, Lord, for those that are struggling to sleep. Lord, that you will bless them tonight in the beautiful name of Jesus. But we're praying for sleep. We're praying for calm. We're praying, dear God, for nights of anxiety to cease. We need rest for our hearts, our minds, our bodies, our souls. Lord, we need emotional peace and rest. Give us stillness. Lord, we're praying, dear God, because we got troubled thoughts. Lord, we're praying right now, Lord God, for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to crush the fear and the doubt in the name of Jesus. Help us to brief.
Help us, dear God, to meditate on the word of God as you tell us through the beautiful book of Joshua. Meditate on this word day and night. Father, help us to meditate on the scripture. But Lord, bless the listeners wherever they are, from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Lord, I pray that the love of Jesus Christ will be with them and over them. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you today. Thank you for praying with us today. For more daily devotions, follow us on the social platforms at dailyprayer.uk. God bless.
