Naming Loneliness And Grief

you. Come on, we're gonna pray for comfort, we're gonna pray that grief will go, we're gonna pray for loneliness. Do you know? Do you feel lonely? We might be in the biggest church in the world and we still feel lonely. We might be in the biggest family, the biggest workplace, but we feel lonely. It is Jesus Christ that we need in our lives. Father, I need Jesus. I need Jesus right now. I need you in my heart, I need you in my mind, I need you in my my life because Lord, there's a lot of grief going on at the moment. Lord, there's a there's a lot of stuff going on in the world, and Lord, we need comfort. Lord, because the world can never and it will never give us comfort, Jesus. We need the Holy Spirit. We're seeking the Holy Spirit right now. Father, we thank you that you went, you went, dear God. You went up, Jesus. You went up, you ascended to the heavenly realms on ascension day, and we thank you that the Holy Spirit descended. As Jesus ascended, the Holy Spirit descended, and we thank you right now. We thank you, dear God, for your love and your mercy. Lord, I believe that the Spirit of the Lord is over our lives. Lord, we are tired, we are grief stricken, we have loneliness in our skin. And Lord, we're looking at empty chairs in our lives. We're looking at an empty

car chair, we're looking at an empty garage, we're looking at an empty sofa, we're looking at an empty dining room table or Christmas table. We're looking, dear God, at that person that was with us last year, Lord, that is missing. So, Father, we pray for the empty chairs, the empty hearts, the the worries, the fears through this season. And right now we stand in the book of Isaiah 34. We believe that Isaiah 34, verse 18 is for each and every one of us. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And Lord, I love this scripture. This scripture, sister and brother, has been burning, burning on my heart for so long, and it's alive and it is whoa. Revelation 21, verse 4. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Father, I thank you that as we cry, and I pray for those that haven't even cried yet, and worried why they're not crying, Lord, let them know it's okay not to cry, but Lord, the cry of within, within the skin that we are walking in, the grief that is within. Lord, we're trying to put our teeth in and smile and let the world know we're okay. But Lord, we're not okay because we got grief, Jesus. Lord, not only have we got grief, Lord, are running alongside of that, we got bereavement pain, Jesus, and we got loneliness and we got fear. And Lord, we're looking at an empty chair. Lord, I pray, Holy Spirit, for them slippers that never move again. I pray, dear God, for that bathrobe that never comes off the back door. Lord, as we look at that mobile phone, it will never ring the same anymore. As we look at those work boots, Lord, those work boots will never be worn by that person again. We look, dear God, at the knitting that will never be done again the same, the crochet that will never be done again. Lord, we look at the kitchen where it will never be filled up with that love and that person ever again. We look, dear

Prayer For Peace And Strength

God, in the field of life and we say, Come, Holy Spirit, at this season, at this hour, we need Jesus. Refresh our hearts, restore us. Father, I thank you for all the listeners, but wherever they are right now, I pray, dear God, for that unspoken grief today that it will go. Father, as the day draws close to a close, as the sun rises maybe on our days, as the sun sets, I pray that through this season, Lord God, that you will heal our hearts. We're praying for peace, we're praying for strength, we're praying for hope, and we need the love of Jesus. We need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter, we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter. We need Jesus in our lives like never before. Sisters and brothers, I want to say thank you for every one of you right now that has stayed with us, that has prayed with us. Whatever you are going through, do not give
