Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. Brother and sister, how are you? Where are you? What is going on in your life at this moment in time? We're going to pray for emotional calm.
We are saying goodbye to Christmas and Boxing Day. We are accelerating. We're saying hello to January, and we've got to pray that the fire of God and the love of God and the Spirit of the Living God will carry us because there is a destination, there is a place, there is a beautiful place, and it's known as the cross of Calvary. And God is calling you. Jesus Christ is calling you. Wherever you are across the world, I pray that the love of Jesus will just be wrapped around you. I've got to tell you, you're not alone. God sees your heart, He sees your pain, He sees your frustrations. Jesus is with you right now. Father, I pray for the listeners around the world. I thank you for everyone. Lord, as we draw near to prayer, as we, dear God, accelerate very quickly to the beginning of January. Lord, we don't want to walk into January, dear God, off guard. So right now, Lord, get us ready.
Get us ready right now. Get us dressed and ready in the full armor of God. Lord, I thank you that your word sits in our spirit. But right now, Lord, as evening comes, as the daybreak starts to arise in the morning, as the sun is setting on whatever nation and tribe and tongue we come from, Father, we pray from London to Delhi, from Delhi to Dubai, from Sydney to Auckland, from Auckland to Russia, from Russia to China, China to Singapore, dear God, Taiwan. Lord, move over Taiwan right now. Lord, please, Holy Ghost, move through Asia, India right now. Tel Aviv. We love you, Jesus, and we come before you, but we need the joy of the Lord to be our strength. And Father, we hold on to peace. Lord, we need this inner peace.
Lord, we have been overwhelmed. We have been stretched. We have been bent and buckled this way and that way. But Lord, we are going to find that peace on the word of God. Will you put our feet upon the rock? Lord, will you put our hearts deep into the word of God? Lord, I pray that you will draw us to the cross of Calvary. And Lord, we thank you for Psalm 94, verse 19. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. When anxiety was great within me, Father, I thank you for the prayers of David. I thank you for the honesty of the scripture. I thank you for the power of the scripture. Lord, it is so good to read that there was someone, and there was many in the Word of God, so many in the Bible
that said, I'm anxious, I'm worried, I'm scared. And when we read this scripture, brother and sister, Psalm 94, 19, when anxiety was great within me, Lord God, I pray that faith will be great within us. Lord, we don't want anxiety to be great within us. And Lord, we lean into the beautiful book of the Gospel of John, 14 27. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Wherever you are right now, do not be afraid. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Yes, we are accelerating out of December, and we are surging towards January, and the God that we serve is with you. He's not invisible, he's in your heart. Yes, you could say he's invisible simply because Colossians 1 verse 15 says Christ is the image of the invisible God, but Jesus Christ is with you. The Holy Spirit is with you, God is with you, the triune Godhead is with you. Father, I pray as we back out of this prayer, I ask you, Lord, that we will have supernatural, divine intervention
of the Holy Spirit. And right now, Lord, as we come to the close of this prayer, I pray for every listener that the Spirit of the Lord will rest over them. They will feel the love of Jesus in their heart. And Lord, wherever they sit, Lord, whatever their life looks like, I thank you for for you. I thank you so much for you. Thank you for staying with us. Thank you for keeping with us. When I stumble and uh the floors and I I cough and I make funny noises and I gather my breath. I thank God that you've stayed with us in the name of Jesus Christ. And you can hear my voice is getting gone. We've got to get out of here. Thank you for standing. Thank you for praying.
