Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of prayer, faith, hope, and love. Jesus is with you. Whatever your time zone is, whatever lens you're measuring the world with at this moment in time. Let's pause a moment and I'm inviting you
in. I'm inviting you into John 14, 27. I'm inviting you into the Word of God. I'm inviting you into Psalm 91, verse 1. I'm inviting you to come and to stand and to walk with us wherever we are around the world. I want you to call on the beautiful name of Jesus because God is with you. And I pray that the love of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit will lead you and carry you like never before.
Come on, let's lock shields of faith today. Father, in the name of Jesus, we are praying for stillness after a long day, a long week, a long month, a long life. We are praying for stillness and we're praying for calmness. We're thanking you right now, Lord, for our lives. We want to say thank you, Jesus. But right now, whatever our time zone is, wherever we are around the world, from London to Singapore, from Singapore to New York, to Lagos, to Sydney, to Asia, Father Lord, all the way, dear God, to France, Spirit of the Living God, we pray for Brazil, America right now, Lord. We pray for London. We pray, dear God, for the whole world that you will move, dear God, all the way round Israel, right round the Middle East. We pray for the Middle East that there will be peace and calm at this
hour. Holy Spirit, we come to you right now, and we believe that John 14, 27 is for us. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Father, we thank you that we are not gonna be afraid anymore. So today we are learning to trust in our God and our King. We're learning, Father, to lean into Jesus. We're learning, Father, through the complicated way that life is. We are learning, Father, just to navigate through our lives by faith. Lord, we don't want to live our lives by what the family says, by what church says, by what the political arena says. Lord, we don't want to follow their God, the social networks. We don't want to follow the news channels. We want to follow Jesus. And Lord, I pray for peace, that peace that goes beyond all human understanding. Lord, you tell us for that beautiful gospel of John 27, peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. You tell us that you do not give as the world gives.
So Lord, I pray that you will recalibrate each and every one of us. And wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the bus stop, to the bus stop to the hoover, from the hoover, dear God, to driving the car, driving the van, driving the vehicle. Lord God, from them areas, dear God, to the treadmill of life, from the treadmill of life all the way to the treadmill of the gym, from the treadmill of the gym, walking the dogs, looking after the kids, kids, preparing the home, being a homemaker, dear God, working out of the home. Whatever we are doing, spirit of the living God, we need peace in our life. Lord, we need our God to show up, dear God, practically. Lord, we need you to show up. And we believe that Psalm 91, verse 1, is for us right now. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, I want to repeat that for every heart that is with me. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. God is with you. The Spirit of the Lord is over you right now, and God has a plan for your life. The love of Jesus is so strong. There is hope, there is peace. God is with you right now. Let's rise in courage, let's rise on wings as of eagles. We walk with the Lion of Judah, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, the King of the Jews. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And he is with
you now. Don't ever give up. Look in the mirror and smile and say, My King is with me. Look in the mirror and smile and say, All is well. Look in the mirror and say, Yes, Lord, I believe. Father, I thank you for the listeners wherever they are at this hour, whatever their time zone is, whatever their culture, whatever their tribe, whatever their tongue is. Lord, I thank you for every heart that stands with me, walks with me, prays with me, puts up with me. But Lord, I pray for them and I ask you, dear God, that you, dear God, my God, our God, will let the glory and the power and give them a double portion in Jesus' name.
