Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of hope, strength, and love. Brother and sister, it is Wednesday, the 31st of December. We are in New Year's Eve, wherever you are at this moment in time, whatever your time zone is, the love of Jesus is with you. Come on, we're gonna trust in the Lord. You might be scared, you might be worried, you might be doubtful, you might be excited to leave 25 and jump into 26, however you are feeling.
Let's pray, pray, I should say. Pray for clarity, pray for clarity in decisions, direction for the new year and for what God has for us wherever you are around the world. Please don't forget, send your emails in. Please send the emails in to info at dailyprayer.uk. Father, I thank you for every listener. And Lord, wherever the listeners are at this moment in time, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the treadmill of life, from the treadmill of life to the treadmill of the gym, from the gym digger, cutting the grass, cleaning the car, doing the hoovering, whatever we may be doing right now in the name of Jesus. Father, preparing food, cleaning, washing, Lord, just sorting the kids out, sorting the house out, whatever we are doing. Father, we pray on this New Year's Eve that the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit will strengthen each and every one of us. Lord, I pray that you will help us to be focused. I pray, dear God, that we will look to the cross of Calvary and wherever we are gathering now in the name of Jesus. From here, London, right away across the world, from here, London, right away to America, right away from America to Australia, Australia to Italy to New York. Father, we pray for Rome. We pray for the Vatican right now. We pray for Spain, dear God, Los
Angeles, Las Vegas. Lord, we pray for Kuala Lumpa that the love of God will move around this world and God will draw each and every one of us in. But right now, on this Wednesday, on this New Year's Eve, Lord, as we are crossing over, Lord, I pray, Lord, that you will put in our spirit calm, that you will put in our heart, dear God, calm. Lord, that you will put in our heart more trust that we will not lean on our own understanding, but we will trust in the everlasting arms of God. And Lord, we thank you as we pray through Proverbs 3, verse 5, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your path straight. Lord, I pray, dear God, as we step right now. Lord, before we go any further in any more breaths of this world, Lord, I ask you, dear God, that we will submit ourselves to you. Lord, as we pray, Lord, we thank you, dear God, for the Israelites that sat that camped themselves at the Jordan River on the on the shoreline, dear God, on the stream edge, Father, they camped and they waited. Lord, they just waited, dear God, just away, just on the edge, Father, of the River Jordan. So, Father, as we consecrate ourselves, as we get ready to cross from 25 to 26, as we get ready to cross into the promised land, Father, give us the strength, Lord, give us the spiritual fervor, Lord, fill us to the full measure to our cup
runneth over. And Lord, we thank you that you will give us stability in our thinking, but we're gonna trust in the Lord with all of our heart, and we're not gonna lean on our own understanding, and in all of our ways we're gonna submit our life to you, and wherever we are right now, Spirit of the Living God, you will make a way. You tell us that you will make a way. And Lord, we thank you for the beautiful prayers of David, Psalm 119, 105. Your word is a lamp unto my feet, a light for my path. Lord, will you light the path up? Lord, will you light the way for us, Lord, as we exit 25, Lord, as we stand on the new beginnings, Lord, we thank you that we've got new beginnings. We thank you, Lord, that new beginnings are before us. And Lord, as we rise on wings as of eagles, Father, as we press in to 2026, Father, we we ask you that you will cut the umbilical cold to everything that has held us down, Lord. Everything that has been trying to feed us, everything that has been trying to do us harm, everything that is trying to take us off track, cut the umbilical cold, dear God. As we leave 25, we want to step right now into 26 in freedom. We want to walk in freedom, we want to walk in power, we want to walk in the anointing, we want to walk in the glory. So right now, wherever the listeners are scattered around the world, we pray for peace right the way through Israel. We pray for peace over this world. And Lord, we're gonna trust in the Lord with all of our heart, and we're not gonna lean on our own understanding. We're gonna submit everything we have to you. So, Lord, as you are preparing us for
our destination, the destiny that lies ahead. Surround us, dear God, with men and women that are spirit-filled, blessed and highly favored. But right now, we thank you that wherever you are, that you've stayed with us, you've prayed with us, you've walked with us, you've cried with us, you've stayed with me when I've stumbled, when I've said the wrong word, mentioned the wrong thing, you have not left us. May the Spirit of the living God thank you for praying with us and join us shortly for our next set of prayers as we come to the eve, as we start to progress out of 25. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you. God bless. See you soon.
