Ephesians 4:32 And The Call To Forgive

SPEAKER_00

We're going to dive straight into the beautiful book of Ephesians 4, verse 32. And it says, Uh, be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as Christ forgave you. Lord, help me to forgive. Lord, this is a big drumbeat. Lord, this is an enormous drumbeat for me. Because Lord, I bring my past before you again and again

and again. Lord, I need healing. Lord, I need to help myself forgive. And Lord, I can only help myself, dear God, if I lean into Jesus. Because Lord, I can't carry this unforgiveness anymore. Lord, you tell me to be kind and compassionate to one another. But Lord, there have been characters in my life, there have been characters in my journey that Lord, I'm struggling with right now to this day. And Lord, I want to be open and I want to be honest before the world at this moment. Lord, will you help me to forgive? Lord, you tell me to forgive each other just as Christ forgave us. Lord, you've forgiven me. Lord, you've washed me in the blood of Jesus. And I come to the cross in Calvary, Lord, and I still got some anger and some bitterness. I'm still a frustrated Lord at past things. And Lord, I don't want to feel like this. I want freedom in the name of Jesus. Lord, I want to live freely. And Lord, will you help me to heal? Will you help all those to heal, dear God, from abuse and fear and doubt and

worry? Lord, whatever has gone on in the past, Lord, I gotta leave my suitcases, not just one, but twos, threes, and fours. Lord, it is like a conveyor belt, just as it looks like at Gatwick Airport, as the suitcases are going round and round. Lord, I've got a few suitcases that are filled up with stuff. And Lord, I need you to take the suitcases of life. Lord, because I cannot carry this baggage. Lord, I don't want to go to the airport and reclaim my baggage. Lord, I just want to lose it once and for all. Lord, I don't want to reclaim, dear God, the suitcase of fear, the suitcase of doubt, the suitcase of unforgiveness, the suitcase, dear God, of anger, the suitcase of bitterness. Lord, I want to leave it in unclaimed baggage. Lord, I don't want to go to the airport and pick it back up. Lord, I don't want to undo the zip and see what's inside. Lord, I want to leave it at the foot of the cross of

Calvary. And wherever we are situated around the world, Lord, we believe that the God that we serve is Yahweh. We believe in Yahweh, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. You are the Lion of Judah. And wherever we are, from London to Uganda, from Uganda to the Ukraine, from Ukraine to Saudi Arabia, to Jamaica, Turkey, the Seychelles, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Mexico, Argentina, Spirit of the Living God, move over this world. But Lord, I don't want to be looking at the conveyor belt, dear God, of baggage that I'm hanging on to. Lord, I want to leave it at the airport, and that is the cross of Calvary. And today, Lord, I pray for anyone that is struggling

life. Lord, I want to hold on to the book of Colossians 3, verse 13. Lord, I want to hold that word, and Lord, I want to tell the world that I got to bear with each other and forgive one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Lord, that's a big drumbeat. And Lord, I'm going to take that on board and I'm going to walk in it this year. And Lord, I want you to lead me, dear God, and healing from broken relationship issues, family hurts, unforgiveness in families and different things that has gone on in our life. And Father, I pray for the listeners wherever they are, that the love of Jesus Christ will be over their lives. I pray right now that the love of God will permeate through
