notes below. Come on, we're jumping straight in. How are you feeling today? I invite you in. Whatever your name is, whatever your tribe is, whatever your tongue is, wherever you are situated around the world. I welcome you into this prayer room with me right now. If you're in a van, the car, if you're at home, whatever you may be doing, we're gonna pray today and we're gonna believe that God will calm my fears of the unknown as we try to step in, and as we are already in, we're four days in, as we just four days in to the new year.
Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, calm our hearts. Lord, as we look at the news, as we see our own personal lives, church, this is happening, that is happening. Father, we are lacking funds, we are scared, we are worried. The news is breaking out around the world, and Lord, we need stability, Lord, in the world, in our lives, in the nations in which we live, and Lord, it's quite scary. So, Lord, we're calling on our God right now, and we believe that Isaiah 41, verse 10 is for each and every one of us. So do not fear, for I'm with you. I've got to tell you wherever you are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life. God is with you. Let's never, let's never get into that posture of fear. Father, as we just gently pray, as we just gently ponder over these scriptures through this time, these quick-fired commute of prayers. Father, we believe through this daily devotional time that the love of God is with each and every one of us. And we call on your name because, Lord, the news channels are scary. Lord, the financial pressure is weary. And Lord, as we step into a new year, Lord, give calm to our hearts and our
minds. But we believe that the beautiful book of Isaiah 41, verse 10, is for each and every one of us. So do not fear, for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you. Father, we need your help. Lord, we need your help in our lives, in our mind, in our spirit. Lord, in every area of life. Father, the church can't help us, the world can't help us, the political arena can't help us. Father, nothing can help us except you. So we come to you, Lord, and many of us are vulnerable. Many of us, dear God, on the fourth, dear God, as we are marching just gently into January in 2026, Lord, we feel vulnerable. Lord, we feel wide open to the disasters that are happening around the world. Lord, it is scary. And Lord, we need your hand, we need your love. And Father, we're asking you right now, Lord, help us to not to be anxious, to overthink, to not to be uncertain, dear God, about the future, but to be solid in the word of God and believe that God is making a way where there seems
to be no way. But right now, at this quiet hour, at this moment in our lives, Father, we need an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and we need our God and our King. Lord, will you lift up a standard? Lord, will you lift up that word in our hearts? Because Lord, we're a bit stressed, we're a little bit worried at the early hours, and fathers, we're trying to sleep, maybe as we're kicking the duvet off of life. Whatever we may be doing, Lord, we believe in Scripture. We believe in the Lion of Judah. And Father, we thank you that Psalm 56, verse 3 is for us. When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. Sister and brother, wherever you are, put your trust in Jesus Christ. Put everything you've got into the cross of Calvary, into the Word of God, and call on the name of Jesus. Do not look at the social platforms, do not look at the news channels, but trust in Jesus Christ. Don't look at the bank statement, but fall in love with
Jesus. My brothers and sisters, thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying with us. Until the next prayer, we'll catch you very, very soon. Never give up. Come on, do not be any more fearful than you are right now. Let's pray, Spirit of the Living God, free us from fear in Jesus' name. Amen.
