Facing Post‑Holiday Blues

Wherever you are, it is that time. We're getting ready for school. Oh Lord help us. We're getting ready for work. Oh no, Jesus. Holy Spirit, I pray for the listeners wherever they are right now. Come on, we've got to get back to work. We've got to get back to school. God help me face the day wherever you are. If you're living in the UK, certain regions we know children are going back today, Monday, and Tuesday, whenever that may be. And uh we just pray for each and every one of us now for those that are struggling with life itself, and then all of a sudden, the festive period is over. Christmas Boxing Day, that gap in between, New Year's Eve, fireworks are gone, finished, and they are empty. Old Lang Zion absolutely means nothing whatsoever. And then all of a sudden, New Year's Day, and then we find ourselves here Monday morning, stressed out, suddenly on the treadmill

of life. Father, right now I pray for everyone, Lord God, that has got a tear in their eye, that is scared and worried about the new job, a place at school, getting back into the rhythm, the rat race of life. Father, I pray that we won't blend into the crowd and the rat race of life. But right now, Father, I just pray for everyone, dear God, every one of us, children at school, back to work, Father, the humdrum, dear God of life. Father, help us to be strong in faith now. Help us not to get depressed, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Father, give us the strength to hold on to the word of God right now in the name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for everyone that is with me wherever they are around the world. And Lord, if they are back to school today, back to work, whatever their time zones are, Lord, but right here live in London, England, we are praying, dear God, for the regions and the counties and the areas that are going back to work, going back to school. So Father, bless the children as they

go back. Father, we just ask you right now from London to New York, from New York to Manila, from Manila to Lagos, Sydney, Toronto, Italy, Rome, and the Vatican City. Lord, pour out your love over Switzerland as well, as we know what Switzerland is going through at this moment and many areas of the world. But Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus. And

Commute Stress And Daily Burdens

SPEAKER_00

Lord, we lift our eyes to the mountains. Father, we need some help today. Lord, we're getting ready now for work. Lord, we're we're at work, we're on the commute run. Lord, we're on the school run. Father, God, we're feeling frustrated. The traffic's heavy. We're tired, we're weary. Lord, we're on the bus, we're on the train, we're jumping on the troop. Lord, we got the rucksack on our back, we got the satchel in our hand. Father, we're fed up and tired, and we need help. Come, Holy Spirit. I pray for every listener. Lord, we believe that Psalm 121, verse 1 is for us. I lift my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? Sisters and brothers, I pray for every one of us that getting back in the rhythm of the dumb way of life that we live. I pray that we will never become robots. Lord, we don't want to be robots. We don't want to be slaves to the systems. Lord, we pray right now that we'll be slaves of righteousness. And you will bring peace, you will bring hope, that your love will abound in our lives. And Lord, we need Jesus. And Lord, we're asking you right now as we're getting back to work, back to school. God help me

face the day. And Lord, also we lean into that beautiful book of Isaiah 41, verse 10 again. Lord, I love this. Lord, this keeps rising in this studio. This keeps rising, dear God. The Spirit of the Lord is telling us this today. Do not fear, sister. Do not fear, brother. Do not fear, child. Wherever you are, this is what the Bible says. Isaiah 41 verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you. God is with you. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you today as you get ready, as you're putting your socks on, as you're getting your lunch ready, getting the kids ready, you know, packing up your bag, and then you're already on the commute. Father bless us as we're on the school run. Spirit of the living God, carry us, we pray, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
