You know, we have just left Christmas. Well, not just left now, we're we're jumping. Actually, it is Monday morning, the 5th of January, 9 a.m. here, live in London, England. And the kids are going back, the buses are back, the schools are back, life is getting back.
We've been crying on the commute run, but now we're gonna get into prayer because we're gonna pray for the persecuted church. Sisters and brothers, let's join, let's link. You know, it is time that we pray for faith under
fire. Father, in the name of Jesus, we knuckle down for these five minutes, and Lord, wherever we are, Holy Spirit, we need you in our lives, in our personal lives. You are the Lion of Judah, you are the great I am. And Father, we pray for such an outpouring of your love and your mercy over our lives. But right now, Lord, we just say, Dear God, be with our sisters and brothers where their faith is under fire. We're praying for the persecuted church. Lord, we're bringing our sisters, Lord, our brothers, the children that have been abandoned. Holy Spirit, we believe that 2 Corinthians 4, verse 9 is for our sisters and our brothers within the persecuted church. Father, we believe that the scripture says, Persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. Holy Spirit, we ask you for those that are running right now, those that are hiding scriptures, those that are worshiping in quiet, those that are worshiping in silence, those that want to lift their hands but can't lift their hands, those, dear God, that are looking for strength to find a Bible.
We pray, dear God, that Bibles will get into nations where the word of God is forbidden. And we ask you now that you'll strengthen the house church, the pastors, families, the secret gatherings, hiding from danger, provide resources, safe spaces, open doors, God, divine encouragements for the sisters and the brothers within the whispering church, the broken church, the underground church, Lord, the church that is being crushed by the hostility of certain areas of government around the world. Holy Spirit, we pray that you will raise up leaders and pastors. Father, we pray that you will guard those believers that have been imprisoned for their faith, those prisoners of faith, heal their wounds. Father, supernaturally move, dear God. You are the King of glory and you are the great I am.
And wherever we are gathering, Lord, live here in London, England, from England, dear God, to Rome, from Rome, we pray, dear God, for Europe. We pray right the way round Europe right now in the name of Jesus. We pray for East Dan Bull, we pray for Amsterdam, we pray, Father, for France and Belgium and Germany, that the Spirit of the Lord will move in those nations. But right now, God, we focus on the prisoners of faith.
We pray for those that are locked up because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Father, we believe that the hand of God is with them. We believe that God is their refuge and their strength. And right now, we we shout out, we stand together with Psalm 46, verse 1. God is your refuge and your strength. For very present help in trouble. God is with you. Father, we pray for Afghanistan. We pray for Sudan. We pray for China and Iran right now. We're asking, Lord, that these nations will be born again, spirit-filled, that they will find and see the love of God in their lives. So, Father, we pray that Jesus Christ will move right the way through Afghanistan. We pray, dear God, that Sudan will see the favor of God. We pray that China will walk in revival of Jesus Christ. And we pray that Iran, Iran, dear God, will see the love and favor of God. But Lord, Iran, China, Sudan, Afghanistan, we pray, dear God, that they will be born again, spirit-filled, blessed and highly favored, walking in the word of God. We thank you that revival is in those four nations. We pray, dear God, for the nations that are
under threat. We pray for every listener, every tribe, every tongue, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom, dear God, to the school run. Wherever we are across this world, God, we link and we hold tight together. We scrum down together and we pray for unity. We pray for strength for the whispering church, the underground church, and the love of God to be with our brothers and sisters wherever they are in the persecuted church. May the Spirit of the Lord bless you today. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until the next prayer, hold on to Jesus Christ.
