God is with you, God has a plan over your life. Do you know there is hope? There is a God, and his name is Jesus, Yahweh, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Shalom.
God is with you as we recall this life here in London, England, as hearts are reaching out from London to Tokyo, from Tokyo to China, from China to Taiwan, from Taiwan all the way around to South Korea, Asia, India, Spirit of the Living God, move. But Lord, we need strength. Lord, we feel that we can't move on. We feel that we're caught in concrete. Our boots, dear God, are filled up with concrete. We're walking in the sludge of life. And Lord, we got to walk in righteousness.
And Lord, we bring our lives before the cross of Calvary today. And Lord, give us the courage to start again. The strength for fresh beginnings in Jesus. Lord, help us to leave the old stuff. Help us to leave the temptations of the world, what the world is offering. Holy Spirit, help us not to climb the ivory towers and to find when we get to the top of the tower, it's empty and there's nothing there. Lord, help us to focus on the cross of Calvary.
Wherever we are around the world, we believe that Isaiah 40, verse 31, this is for every one of us. This is beautiful. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will run and not grow weary. Lord, we're tired of chasing the tau of the world. Lord, the world dangles that golden carrot through work, through
life, through every area of life. And Lord, we feel like a racehorse some days. We're just out the trap of life. Early morning till late at night, at full stretch, running around the course of life. Holy Spirit, will you bring calm to our hearts? Will you help us, dear God? Because you tell us in that great book of Lamentations 3. His compassions never fall. They are new every morning. Lord, we need the love of God every morning. Lord, actually, I want to go a bit further. I need your love. We need your love
every day. And wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the gym, dear God, to the treadmill, to the treadmill of life in the gym, and Lord, the circumstances of life. Father, from the commute to the bus stop, from the bus stop to the train. Dear God, wherever we are, driving the van, dropping the kids off at school, Lord, at work, at home, whatever we are doing, Lord, help us. Give us the courage to leave the old ways, to step out in boldness. Help us to be braggadocious for God. Help us to be bold in the name of Jesus. Help us to walk in the hope of the Lord.
You tell us those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will run and not grow weary. Lord, we're going to put our hope in you. Lord, the fireworks have gone. New Year's Eve has crashed and burned. Lord, old Lang Zion has just gone. And Father, in the name of Jesus, we need a Savior. And we need the Lion of Judah. We want to hear the roar of our God. Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. Lord, touch our hearts, our minds, our bodies, our
souls. Lord, we're feeling fragile. We're feeling scared of what lies ahead. Father, help us not to hit burnout. Give us a fresh start for 2026. Tonight, this morning, this afternoon, wherever we are, under the sound of my voice, I pray that the Spirit of the Lord will give you courage, that the glory of God will carry you. The fire of the Holy Spirit will be in your innermost being. Never give up. The Lord God is with you. Now is the time to rise. Now is the time to leave the suitcases. Now is the time to take the rucksack off your back and say, Jesus, I'm on my way. Get me to the cross. Father, get us to the cross. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you.
