Honest Admission Of Exhaustion

SPEAKER_00

o'clock. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for every one of us today. And Lord, through the quietness, through the stillness, we need hope. Strengthen us to keep going. Sisters and brothers, do you need strength to keep going? I do. Come on, let's be real, let's be honest as we knuckle down for prayer. I need strength to keep going. Some days I just think, Lord, what is the point? But then I say to myself, come on, Ben. Come on, rise. Trust Jesus. Get yourself to the word. It is prayer and prayer and prayer. God is the God of hope. I want to encourage you now, wherever you are. Let's pray for strength to keep going when I feel worn down and empty. Isn't that a horrible feeling when we feel empty? Father, I don't like this empty feeling that I get. Lord, help me. Lord, when I feel worn down and empty and tired and exhausted, and I think to myself, what is the purpose of this life?

Praying For Strength And Renewal

SPEAKER_00

So Lord, in this prayer time, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the school run to the run of life. Father, we don't want the humdrum bounce on the same trampoline, bounce in the same way. Father, the seasons of life change so quickly. And Father, we can't keep this up. Lord, this bounce, this monotony. Father God, these long crazy days. Lord, these long commutes to work. Father, everything that's going on, Father, we can't keep up, dear God, with the financial strain. Lord, we've got emptiness. We feel empty. We feel worn down. We feel tired. We feel gritty. We feel a little bit moony. So Lord, will you help us? Give us strength to keep going. Lord, I want you to change my attitude. I want you to change the way that I think. Lord, I want you to change the way that I analyze every situation. I don't want to overthink it. I don't want to over-engineer it because, Lord, that keeps in me low. That wears me down. And that, dear God, makes me feel empty. I've got to realize, dear God, that I'm filled. We are filled. Sister and brother, you are filled with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Scripture Anchors For Hope

SPEAKER_00

And Lord, I believe that Isaiah 40, verse 31 is for us. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. My flesh and my heart may fail. But God is the strength of my heart and my everyday portion. Father, wherever we are, from Singapore to Calgary, from Calgary to Helsinki, dear God, to Oslo, to France, to Manila, to Italy, to Spain. Father, pour out your spirit. Help me to keep going. Give me strength to keep going. Lord, I feel empty inside. I'm scared how I feel. So Lord, I don't want to feel and I don't want to live like this anymore. God, right now, as we are in January, Lord, I want to rise on wings as of eagles.

Keep Skating: Courage And Closing

SPEAKER_00

Lord, I'm fed up with being tired. I'm fed up feeling drained. I'm worn down by being worn down. Restore, restore, sorry, our strength tonight. In the name of Jesus Christ, lift the heaviness off of our shoulders, take the rucksack off of our back, and Lord, anoint us afresh. Bring us to the Word of God. And Lord, I pray that we will go in supernatural strength. From the battlefield to the boardroom, from the board run, dear God, to the school run. From the school run, dear God, to the field of life, from the field of life to the gym, to the treadmill to the treadmill of life, to the field of life to the ice of life. Lord, as we skate across the pond of life, Lord, this ice is so thin under these skates. Lord, we got to keep going. Keep skating. Never give up. In the name of Jesus Christ, God is with you. The power of the Holy Spirit is with you. Keep skating, keep walking, keep running in the name of Jesus Christ, but believe. Believe that this is your year. This is your moment. God is with you. Wherever you are, I will catch you on the next prayer. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Never give up. Come on, let's keep praying.
