Prayer For Peace And Rest

SPEAKER_00

The Spirit of the Lord is over you, God is with you wherever you are. Let's pray. What we're gonna pray for, God, give me peace tonight and strength for tomorrow. God, give me peace tonight and strength for tomorrow. Lord, I don't even want tomorrow to come. Lord, because today has given me enough drama. And today, Lord, I just want peace. Lord, I want to finish today in calm and peace and rest. Lord, I haven't even got the brain power, Jesus, to think about tomorrow. Lord, I don't want to worry about tomorrow because the scripture says today has enough drama for itself. So Father, I pray, dear God, wherever we are, that the drama that has gone on today, from family to work, from work to school, to the drumbe of life, Lord, whatever has gone on in our lives today, Lord, we need to lay it at the cross. Because Lord, I'm tired, dear God, of carrying baggage from one year to another, from one month to another, from one week to another, from one day to another, from one hour to another hour. Lord, will you teach me to let go? Will you teach me to let go the strain of life? Lord, today, today's been a gruesome day. Today, dear God, has been an odd day. Today has been a day, God, where I really need peace right now. And Lord, we pray for peace over everybody's heart,

everybody's mind. And Lord, wherever we are gathering from London to Prague to Dublin, dear God, all the way to Helsinki, dear God, to Zurich. Father, we pray right the way through Amsterdam that the love of God will be through Amsterdam and Germany. Father, pour out your spirit around this world. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem tonight. We pray for Israel. We pray, dear God, for every nation, every tribe, every tongue, that we will find peace.

Take Heart: Scripture Promises

SPEAKER_00

Because, Lord, we cannot walk the same walk every day. Lord, I want to walk by faith. Lord, I don't want to be like the Israelites that was in the wilderness going round and round and round. Lord, I don't want to be a slave to Pharaoh. I don't want to be a slave to the system. I don't want to be a slave to the political drive. I want to be a slave to righteousness. Lord, I want to follow our God. I want to follow our King. Lord, and I know that there is peace in following Jesus. And Lord, you tell us through the beautiful

book of John 16, verse 33, have I told you these things? So that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble. But take heart. I have overcome the world. Father, will you help us to take heart? Lord, it is the most difficult thing to do to take heart. Lord, we need peace. The battles are fierce. The journey is exhausting. But our God is with us. So Lord, as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort us. And right now, Lord, wherever we are around the world, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the gym, to the treadmill of life to the treadmill of the gym. Lord, as we skate across thin ice, Lord, as we hold our breath, as we typerope across, dear God. The caverns, the dark places, Lord, help us to get across to the other side. Lord, we don't want to be like the Israelites, wandering and wandering and wandering. Lord, we want to walk in paths of righteousness. We want to walk, Father God, not in a political drive, not in a worldly drive. Lord, we don't want to bounce on the same trampoline as the world. We want to walk by faith. Lord, we want to jump out of the boat and we want to walk on water. We want to see that our God is real. We want to live in the Word of God. We want clean hands and a pure heart. We want the fire and the anointing of

Abide, Trust, And Keep Walking

God. Lord, you tell us in Psalm 91, verse 1: whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, we gotta rest in the shadow of the God above all gods. And wherever you are right now, trust in Jesus. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. Never, ever, ever give up. If you're battling life, hold on to Jesus. Whatever your walk is like, keep walking. God is with you. The Spirit of the Lord is over your life. Until tomorrow, hold on tight.
