Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England. Come on, sisters and brothers, we're tired. We've had a long old stretch today. Wherever you are around the world, are you tired? Are you weary? Do you ever get so tired when you can't even sleep? You're so exhausted, you're so worn out. You go to sleep, you're pretending to go to sleep. Has anyone ever experienced that? When you go to sleep, you are pretending to sleep, you are so
tired. Father, I pray that we will sleep well. I pray for everyone, dear God, that has sleep issues, that they will sleep really well today. Tonight, wherever they are, for those at work nights, for those at work days, for those that are living life, Father, wherever we are, we pray for the homemakers of the world. We pray for everyone, dear God, that is a homemaker, is preparing a home, cleaning, washing, looking after the children, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, the cat, the dog, the fish. Lord, Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for everyone right now. We pray for every house around the world. We pray for every home. We pray for every human being, Father, in every nation, in every city, in every region around the world.
Father, we pray for peace. Wherever we are right now, we pray for the future. We pray, dear God, for those that are worried about their future. We pray, dear God, that you will give us peace over our future. But right now, Lord, for those, dear God, that are on the battlefield. Those, dear God, that are exhausted on the battlefield, carry them today, Lord. Father, we believe that Isaiah 41 verse 10 is for us. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I want to tell you that the God of Israel is your God. I want to tell you now that God is telling you, do not be afraid. God is with you. On the battlefield, He's with you. As you're laying in bed right now, God is with you. As you're driving the vehicle, God is with you. As you're on the field of life, God is with you. You're on the school run, frustrated in the traffic, wherever you are. Father,
get us off, dear God, the motorway of life. Lord, we got to get off this treadmill. Father, this treadmill is wearing us out, the treadmill of life. Father, get us off. Lord, we don't want to walk like this. We don't want to run like this. Lord, we don't want to move like this. Lord, we want to walk in peace. And I pray that peace will abound in our hearts right now. Jesus, give me peace tonight. Give me strength for tomorrow. For those that are worried about tomorrow, give them strength. For those that are scared for this hour, take away the fear and the panic. Dear God, we thank you that the joy of the Lord is our strength.
And as the beautiful writer of Romans writes in Romans chapter 15, verse 13, may the God of hope, may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. So that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we want more of the Holy Spirit. We want more Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nisi. And wherever we are right now, Father, in the name of Jesus, from London to Warsaw to Berlin, Stockholm, Dublin, and Lisbon. Father, we pray that you will strengthen every city, every human being. Lord, as we seek peace today, Father, we believe that the battle belongs to the Lord. But sometimes, Lord, I put the gloves on and I try
and do it myself. Lord, help me not to put the gloves on. Lord, help me to stand strong and to realize that I got to trust in Jesus. Lord, I want to be filled. We want to be filled to the fullness of God. Lord, we want clean hands and a pure heart. Lord, we need the fire of God. Lord, we want to hear the lion of Judah roaring over our nations, over our cities, over our towns, over our regions, over our lives.
Lord, we want to walk with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. We want to feel the power of the Word of God. I pray, dear God, that we will do as Joshua was commanded to do. Never let this book of the law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Lord, I pray that we will hold on to the scripture. Lord, that we will get in the word of God. Sisters and brothers, wherever you are at this midnight hour, at this early door, whatever your time zone is around this world, get in the scripture. Let's make it our commitment that we are going to surrender our lives to Jesus. We're going to pray, we're going to stand in the word. We're going to worship our way through the battle of life. We're going to worship. We're going to sing right in the face of adversity. We're going to praise the name of Jesus right in the face of trouble. Wherever you are, never give up worshiping. Never give up in the word of God. Never give up praying because the Spirit of the Lord is with
