Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, strength, and love. The Spirit of the Lord is over you wherever you are. We welcome everyone around the world, and we are praying right now for everyone living and moving through New
Zealand. We're just praying that the Spirit of the Lord will be over you right now in New Zealand, but we're going to draw close to Jesus and we're going to pray that Joshua 1 verse 5 is over our lives.
Jesus, stay with me when I feel alone. Jesus, stay with me. I don't know about you. I think this is our war cry. I think this is the line that we need to shout out on the bus, on the train, on the tube, in the van, in the car. You know that might get a few unusual looks if we're sitting on the commute run right now. Jesus, stay with me while I feel alone before the dawn
breaks. Father, in the name of Jesus, wherever we are situated around the world. Father, there are many facing inward battles. There are many, dear God, going through divorce, going through family separation. Lord, there are many, dear God, hanging on to fears and worries and doubts. Lord, there are many wrestling, dear God, with the bear of life. Father, Lord, we pray that we won't wrestle with that great big bearer of life. Lord, that we will let go of the baggage and the worries and the fears. Lord, I pray that we will learn to leave everything at the cross. But right now, Lord Jesus, stay with me. God, stay with the listeners. Jesus, stay with us. Father, Jesus, stay with us right now. Lord, this is our battle cry. This is our war cry. This is the cry from our heart. Jesus, stay with me. Lord, when I feel alone, I get a panic attack. Lord Jesus, stay with me. Father, in the name of Jesus. Father, we're holding on to Joshua 1.5. Oh my good God, in the name of Jesus. Father, I need you in my life. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Father, at this midnight hour, at the daybreak, at the dawn, as the sun rises, as the sun sets, Father, it's scary being a human being. And Lord, yes, we might be Bible believers. Yes, we might be born again. But Lord, sometimes, Lord, we have panic attacks. Sometimes we get scared. Sometimes, dear God, we feel alone and we feel abandoned and we feel like we're an
orphan. And Lord, we look around the world and everybody else, dear God, is living the TikTok dream. Everybody else is living the social media dream. But Lord, not me. Lord, I pray right now, Lord, that Father, you help us not to say those words to ourselves. Lord, why me? Why me, Jesus? Why me? Lord, help us, dear God. Father, this is our battle cry. This is the war cry. Father, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run, dear God, to making the home comfortable for the family. We pray for the homemakers around the world. We pray, dear God, for those that are at work, those that are on the bus right now, that are jammed on the tube right now. Lord, we pray for those that are squeezed in the front of a van, those, dear God, that are at a desk, those, dear God, that are looking at their screen and saying to themselves, Lord, what am I doing here, Jesus? Father, we pray for the line managers in our lives. We pray, dear God, for the bullies. We pray for every situation that will be extracted from our lives. Lord God, why me? Lord, why me, Jesus? Lord, I feel alone, but why
me? God, Holy Spirit, wherever we are right now, from London to Wellington, from Wellington to Auckland, from Auckland to Christchurch to Hamilton, Father, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit right away through New Zealand. Lord, we pray, Lord, for every one of us wherever we are gathering under the sound of our voice. Lord, I pray, Lord, that we will know that our Jesus lives. Lord, do not leave us, God. Keep close to us, Lord, because we're going through the valley of the shadow of death.
Father, we believe that Psalm 23, verse 1 is for each and every one of us, and we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit. The Lord is my shepherd. I've got to tell you right now that the psalmist writes this right now for you. Psalm 23, verse 1. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. You've got to tell yourself, look in the mirror right now, I lack nothing. Look in the mirror and tell yourself, I'm blessed and highly favored. Look in the mirror and go, Yes, God, today we're having it large today in the name of Jesus. Lord, we're not gonna roll over. Lord, we're not gonna pull the duvet on and say goodnight, Vienna. Lord, we're gonna stand on the word of God. We're gonna believe in faith. We're gonna rise, dear God, because this is our battle cry. This is our war cry.
Spirit of the living God, we know that you will never leave us nor forsake us. According to the great book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 5. We're out of here, and this is what the word of the Lord says to you today. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You are not alone. Until the next prayer, I'll catch you soon.
