Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in his studio in England. Wherever you are across the world, I've got to tell you, God is guiding you. Thank you for joining us for these times of refreshing, these times of quick-fired moments. I pray that God will carry you as we gather for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength.
Brothers and sisters, join us in the UK at 9 o'clock live on Sunday evening, 9 UK time as we go live on X and on RB Christian
Radio. As we are praying for 45 minutes, Father, I pray for the listeners right away around the world and wherever they are. Let the glory, let the power, Lord, let the love of God. And Lord, we got a bear facing us right now. Lord, the bear of life. Father, this big grisly bear. Lord, it is big. Lord, we got to wrestle things every second, every day. Lord, we wrestle this bear over there and we turn over there, and there's another bear growling at us. Father, Lord, remove these growling bears of life. And Father, I pray that we will walk strong. We will, dear God, will meditate on the word of God. And Lord, that we will be prosperous and successful. Lord, remove these bears of life out of our way. Lord, remove the grizzlers in the name of Jesus. Father, Lord, we want to walk by faith. We want the word of God to carry us wherever we are. Lord, remove, dear God, the pressure of just being a human being. Lord Jesus, we got to tell you, God, it's hard down here on earth, Lord. It's all right for you up there, Jesus. It's all right for you, God. You know, I know you're omnipresent and I know you're everywhere, but dear God, will you help us today? Lord, I bet it's beautiful up there. But Lord, on this earth, my good God, Lord, we're at the end of days. Lord, we're waiting for the second coming of Jesus. And wherever we are, Lord, we're wrestling tigers, we're wrestling bears. Lord, we got to wrestle at work, we got to wrestle at home. We got to wrestle on the bus. We got to wrestle everywhere going on. Lord, we're tired of wrestling. Lord, we want to walk. Lord, we don't want to wrestle, dear God, with the world. We want to walk by faith. So Lord, will you recalibrate my mind? Lord, will you bring me in right now? Lord, I don't want to walk, dear God, with the bears. Lord, I don't want to wrestle with life itself. Lord, bring me, bring us stability and peace in the middle of the day. Lord, we need stability and we need
peace. From London to Hamilton, all the way through New Zealand, Australia, Wellington, Christchurch, dear God, the outer hemisphere. Let the power of God move through Auckland. Oh my Jesus. Lord, this is an hour. Lord, it's in the middle of the day. We've been up, we've been wrestling bears. We've been carrying pain and hurts. And Lord, we got to get to the cross. Lord, there are many right now just walked in work and the line manner, manager, sorry, is barking. Lord, there are many on the commute, dear God, that is fed up with the way of life. And Lord, we need Jesus. And Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life. From the field of life, dear God, if we are wrestling bears, oh my God, help us, Jesus. The battle belongs to you, Lord. We don't want to wrestle anymore. We don't want to fight with the way of the world. Lord, we want peace. We want stability. So Lord, I pray. I pray right now that we will live by faith. Lord, tell us that all is well. Lord, tell us everything's going to be fine. Lord, speak aloud, Jesus. Because the pressures of the world, Lord, they are growling. They are making a noise. Father, bring peace. Bring direction. Bring strength. Help us to cope today. Lord, help me to handle stress the right way. Help me not to get aggravated. Help me, dear God, not to get narky and fed up. Help me, dear God, to be respectful, to listen, to be quiet. Lord, help us, dear God, to calm down. Father, in the name of Jesus. Help us through the book of Joshua 1, verse 8. Meditate on the word day and night. Father, help us to meditate on your word. At the desk right now, help us to meditate on the school run. At work, on the coffee run, flying around the shops, throwing food in the trolley. Spirit of the living God on the bus. Father, help us. Lord, we're tired of wrestling.
And Lord, I believe as we pedal out of Psalm 23, verse 2 for you and for me. He makes us lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters. Father, we need living streams. It's noisy, it's loud. Come, Holy Spirit. Carry those that are tired today. Lord, get them to lie down in new beginnings, to rest beside quiet waters. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you today. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. I will catch you in a few minutes on the next prayer. Don't give up.
