Spirit of the living God, we pray for every one of us right now. And Lord, I pray, Jesus, stay beside me when my thoughts won't settle. Jesus, whatever the time is around the world, Lord, we say good morning to the listeners. We say God bless you to the listeners. Lord, we say wherever the listeners are, from the morning to the evening, from the battlefield to the boardroom, Spirit of the living God, Jesus, stay beside me when my thoughts won't let me settle. Jesus, stay beside me. Lord, lay in this bed with me tonight.
I'm scared. I feel alone. Lord, I need you beside me. Lord, I need angels around these four corners of this bed because Lord, I feel lost. Lord, you tell me through the beautiful book of Joshua 1, 5. Lord, you tell us that you'll never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, but the bed is empty, the car journey is empty. We feel empty. Father, life feels empty. And Lord, we know we're born again. We know we're Christians. We know that you love us, God, unconditionally. But Lord, help me to deal with loneliness, the mental noise, the battling of overthinking. Lord, we're awake when we should be asleep. Father, our bodies are tired. Lord, you tell us that you are our shepherd and we lack nothing. But Lord, I've got to be honest right now. I'm lacking peace. Jesus, I'm lacking peace. Lord, I need you to give me peace. I need you, dear God, to speak, Lord, to this heart that is racing right now, these thoughts that are that are raging right now. Lord, I feel abandoned. I feel I pray for those that just feel abandoned at this hour. Jesus, stay beside me. Lord, lay in this bed with me. Carry me, hold me, keep me, God, in the name of Jesus. Spirit of the living
God. You are the Lion of Judah. You are the great I am. You are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi. And Lord, at this ridiculous hour in the morning, Father, hold us close. Spirit of the Living God, we pray that you will breathe over New Zealand. That New Zealand will feel the fire of God. That every nation and every tongue will feel the love of Christ. But right now, Lord, I pray for everyone in the name of Jesus. Lord, I pray from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run, dear God, to the shop, from the shop to being a homemaker. Lord, at work, at home, cutting the grass, on the golf course, in the gym, at school, sitting at the desk. Lord, on the commute, I pray for everyone on the bus right now. I pray, dear God, as they're on that bus and they're just bouncing up and down with the rhythm of the commute right now. Lord, as we face today and tomorrow, bring peace. Lord, your word tells us that you're never going to leave us.
But Lord, sometimes, sometimes, Lord, I look to the heavens and I say, Jesus, where are you? Jesus, where are you? Lord, lay beside us in this bed. Put these angelic heavenly hosts around the corners of our bed tonight. Carry us, Lord, put the heavenly hosts around the corner of the vehicle that we're in right now. Spirit of the living God, protect the children. Protect the children of this world. Come, Holy Spirit. Lord, the noise of the world is too much now. So Lord, wherever we are, from London to Wellington, from Wellington to Auckland to Christchurch, Hamilton, right through New Zealand, Lord, as we are facing battles we never fought, we'd face. Spirit of the living God, please. For those that feel abandoned, bring hope. For those that feel lost, bring a miracle. Lord, we're crying out. This is our battle cry. Jesus, keep close.
