Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of prayer, faith, hope, love, and strength. Wherever you are, if you've got a prayer request, please email us at infodailyprayer.uk. Do you know what? We're gonna jump
straight in. Do you feel lonely? Do you feel like you've got despair sitting on your shoulders? I think the simple thing that we're gonna pray for at this hour, it's the 12 o'clock hour, it might be the midday hour, it might
be early doors. Wherever you are, we're gonna pray, Jesus, stay close with me tonight. Father, in the name of Jesus, will you stay close with me tonight? Father, I pray for all the anxieties, all the worries, all the fears. Lord, at this midnight hour, I pray that the love and the presence and the glory of Jesus Christ will just carry us through the night, Lord. Father, we're tired and we're weary. We've had a long day, we've had a long week, we've had a long life, and as we come to you, Jesus, I need you right now in my life. Jesus, as the world becomes loud, Father, are the pots and pans that are clanging in my head, Father, I need stability in my life. Lord, I need you to carry me, to walk with me, to be with me. Jesus,
today, wherever we are, dear God, from London to Berlin, from Berlin to Auckland, from Auckland to Tel Aviv, from Tel Aviv, Chicago, Dublin, Vancouver. Lord, let the love be over Cape Town. Lord, we pray that the Spirit of the Lord, Lord, as millions of us search the Father's heart tonight. Lord Jesus, please stay with me when I feel alone. Jesus, please stay with me when I feel scared. Jesus, please stay with me, Lord, wherever we are from the battlefield of life. Father, as we are battling, dear God, insecurities as we battle loneliness and fear and doubt. We come before you, Lord, on this great
hour and we say, Lord, wrap us up in your presence. Carry us today, Lord, wherever we are, whatever our life is reflecting at this moment. Lord, as we look in the mirror, Lord, sometimes we get scared, Father, because we lose our identity in the fear and uh the areas of life. So, Father, as we look in the mirror, Lord, I pray that we will realize who we are in Christ Jesus. Lord, and as we come to you, Lord, at this midnight hour, at this early day, Lord, as we kick the duvet off, Lord, as we pull that duvet over us today, Lord, wherever we are in the traffic jam on the school run, Lord God, getting the children ready for school, Lord, on the commute, whatever our life is reflecting.
Lord, we pray, Lord, that we will hear the whisper of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. And you will keep every one of us strong and tall in the word of God. But Lord, we don't want to hear the pots of pans of fear and doubt. We don't want to hear all the clanging cymbals in our lives. Father, Lord, we want to hear the word of God. You are the Lion of Judah, you are the great I am, and we come before you on this great early day, and wherever we are situated around the world, Father, we pray for an outpouring of your spirit.
Lord, we believe that Matthew 28, 20 is for each one of us, and surely I am with you always, until the very end of this age. Father, at this midnight hour, Father, at the early day, Lord, as the sun is rising on our life, as the sun is setting on our lives, Father, I pray for those that feel abandoned, for those that feel alone. Holy Spirit, will you comfort us? Holy Spirit, will you just cover cover us in your love and your mercy and your saving grace? Lord, we pray for those that feel despair and feel isolated in life. But Lord, strengthen us, we pray. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you through biblical truth today from the battlefield to the boardroom. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. I will catch you at the next prayer.
