Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, please email us at info at dailyprayer.uk, wherever you are today. The love of God and the power of Jesus is with you. Whatever your time zone is, whatever your life looks like, as you're pulling your socks on, putting your makeup on, combing your hair, chucking the kids in the car, whatever you are doing, the Spirit of the Lord is with you. Maybe you're just sitting on the sofa, just contemplating life. Maybe you're reading, maybe you're getting ready for work, whatever you may be doing. Maybe you're in the biggest battle of your life. Maybe this is the first time you're listening to my voice. We welcome every one of you from day one to now, wherever you are.
Let's pray. Let's pray for one another, and then we're going to pray for the persecuted church. Father, I pray that we get to the cross of Calvary today. And Lord, we thank you for the cross. We thank you for redemption, salvation, justification, and the glory of God. And I pray for every listener wherever we are scattered around the world, that the love of God will carry each and every one of us.
But right now, Lord, as the day is unfolding in our lives, we pray for our sisters and brothers in the persecuted church. We're praying for the hidden believers, the secret worshippers, the family, dear God, that are praying, dear God, that have paid the unthinkable price for the name of Jesus Christ. We ask you, dear God, that the church in North Korea, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and China, we pray for the persecuted church, that you will give them boldness when they're attacked. Lord, we pray, dear God, for the hidden churches. Jesus, protect those who are risking everything to follow the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. We're praying for such an outpouring of your spirit. We believe in breakthrough. We, dear God, we ask that you will give peace, love, and hope to the families whose loved ones have been martyred for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The hidden church, the secret church, the whispering church, the silent church. Lord, the worship that is going up, dear God, in silence. Lord, as they lift their hands in silence, but their heart is ringing out. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord.
Spirit of the living God, we pray for every prisoner of faith right now. We pray for everyone, dear God, that is locked in the prison because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray, dear God, for over 370 million displaced Christians around the world. Father, that you will carry them and bless them. Let the Holy Spirit bring comfort to every prison cell today. Let the Holy Spirit bring comfort to every Bible-believing believer. We pray, dear God, that the church in Nigeria will grow. We pray for the church in China that it will explode in the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the Afghanistan church. Lord, that it will move in authority. Oh God, we pray for North Korea. We thank you for North Korea that the church is growing in North Korea. We ask you, dear God, that Bibles will get through borders, that the hand of the Lord will move in such a powerful way. Bless, dear God, that bold, dear God. Bless the bold secret worshippers, their
families, dear God. Let the Spirit of the Lord be over each and every one of them today. Carry those, dear God, those persecuted Christians, those prisoners of faith. Let the love of God carry them in those hostile nations. We believe that the fire of God is over each and every one of us, that no weapon forged against us will stand. Let the light shine in the darkness. Come, Holy Spirit, bless all the listeners today, wherever they are, from London to Singapore, from Singapore, Toronto, across Europe, Australia, and all the way around the world. Let the glory carry us in Jesus'
name. Until the next prayer. God bless.
