for. Jesus, speak into my night and drive every fear racing against me. Father, wherever we are around the world, we pray against fear. Lord, this fear is so strong. Sometimes, Lord, it overwhelms us. Father, sometimes it just feels like we're wrestling this all day long. Every hour, every moment. Lord, it just feels, Lord God, it's sitting on our shoulders. Sometimes it feels like, Lord, fear is living right within the skin that we walk on this earth with. But right now, dear God, wherever we are, scattered around the world, from London to Chicago, from Chicago to Auckland, Sydney, Lagos, Toronto, Singapore, Jerusalem, wherever we are. Father, we ask that the Spirit of the living God will lift us and carry us. Lord, in this midnight hour, Jesus. Jesus, come, Holy Spirit, Lord, help us to take courage. Help us to be strong.
Lord, we believe that Matthew 14, 27 is for each of us around the world, wherever we are scattered. But Jesus immediately said to them, Take courage, it is I. Sister and brother, wherever you are, God is saying through the word of God, take courage, it is I. Do not be afraid. Father, I don't like that word being afraid. Lord, I don't like that feeling of having a panic attack. We don't like that feeling, dear God, of being uncertain. Help us breathe. Lord, cover our lives with your presence and your love. Lord, let your mercy and your goodness and your saving grace, your power, dear God, let the rhythm of God touch our hearts. Father, settle our breath. Lord, remove the panic from our mind. Lord, guard our thoughts. Wherever we are scattered around the world, we pray that the love of God is over each and every one of our lives. Holy Spirit, bring peace.
Lord, remove, Lord God, this noise, this rattle of life. Father, this hum, dear God, this fear, this hum of noise, dear God, as it gets louder and louder. And we can hear it, dear God, right in the background of our life. Lord, at work, at home, wherever we are scattered. Lord, we pray for the night prayer, Lord, is Jesus. Help us. Help us to sleep. Help us to rest. Lord, help our thoughts right now. Lord, for those that are fearful of the dark, those, dear God, that are scared of life, those that are worried about any situation. Father, wherever we are from the battlefield, dear God of life, for those battles that we might be battling, Lord, through the course of the day it seems okay. Lord, then suddenly as the midnight hour starts to approach, Lord, when our minds start to calm down from the busyness of day. Lord, wherever we've been today, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Father, when the midnight hour hits and the early days, as the sun rises, as the sun sets, Father, we pray that the Spirit of the Lord will carry each and every one of us. But right now, Jesus, speak into my night and drive every fear that is rising against me. Holy Spirit, will you stay with us? Jesus, will you keep speaking through your word to us? Dear God, will you drive out any negative thought right now? And dear God, you tell us to take courage. You tell the disciples through the word, you tell us through the word, you tell culture through the word. You tell every one of us through the word of God, take courage. It is I. Don't be afraid.
