Pure Worship And Listener Invitation

SPEAKER_00

And for everybody that is listening on RB Christian Radio, wherever you are around the world to the music, as I always say, through the month of January, there is no news, there is no weather report, there is no traffic, there is no human being but pure worship in the name of Jesus Christ. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you. Thank you to everybody that is downloading the back library and everything that's going on. But wherever you are, I pray that you are okay. Good evening, good morning, good afternoon. Let's get

into prayer. And what we're praying for, we're praying for this very simply out of the beautiful book of Philippians 4, verse 7. It is Jesus. Calm my mind, calm my mind tonight, and silent every anxious thought rising against me. Father, we come to you.

Battling Anxiety And Overthinking

SPEAKER_00

And Lord, at this hour, as the sun rises, Father, as the sun sets on our day, whatever the time zone is, wherever we are around this world, from the battlefield of life, Lord, from the battlefield of the midnight hour, Lord, at the early day, Father, as we just keep, dear God, waking up, Lord, disappearing, dear God, zoning out. Lord, I pray that we won't get locked into social media, Lord, in these awkward hours. But Lord, that we will get in the word of God, that we will get into prayer, that we will get into scripture, that we will read about the love of Jesus Christ. Lord, when fear starts to rise, we will get in the Psalms. Lord, when doubt starts to rise, we will get in the prayers of David in the beautiful book of Psalms. Father, when anxious thoughts come at the midnight hour, Lord, wherever we are, we will get into the rhythm of the Word of God. So Father, we pray that the Holy Spirit will bring peace. Lord, I can't stop thinking. Lord, my mind is racing. Lord, the situations at work, the situations with the children, the situations in life, the situations in church, in ministry. Lord, the change from this job to the next. Lord, the transition from this house to another house. Lord, the rhythm of life. Father, I pray right now that you will help us because we can't stop thinking. Lord, the night anxieties it hits the door at 3 a.m. and thereabouts. Father, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, help me to calm my mind tonight and silence every anxious thought that is rising against me. Lord, I pray for the love of God and the Spirit of God. Lord, at this dark hour right now, wherever we are, Lord, if the sun is rising, thank you, Jesus. If the sun is setting on the day, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. But right now, Lord, help us, Lord, even in the middle of the day, at work, at school, on the school run, wherever we are, help us to stop overthinking right now. Jesus, calm my mind. Help me to stop worrying about money. Help me to stop worrying about relationship. Help me stop worrying about school, life, church. Lord, the future. Lord, help us in the name

of Jesus. And Lord, we thank you, Lord, that we are live here in London, England. And from London, we pray for Wellington, Johannesburg, Houston, Belfast, Vancouver, Seoul, and Tel Aviv. We pray at this hour, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the school run, from the school run to the train, from the train to the bus, from the bus to the car, to the gym, to the treadmill of life. Father, wherever we are, Lord, to the boardroom, to every setting, to every area of our lives. Lord, help us to find peace. Help us, dear God, to hear the Lion of Judah, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Father, you are the great I am. You are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. You are the God above all gods. You are the great I am. And right now we come to the Good Shepherd. We come to Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior. And at this hour, we believe that Philippians 4, verse 7, is for each and every one of

us. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Father, wherever we are across this world, we pray from the battlefield to the field of life. That the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Help us rest in the day. Help us rest at the midnight hour. Wherever we are, Father, as that sun rises on today, as we kick the duvet off, dear God, as we pull the duvet over, whatever we are doing, wherever we are, Jesus. Stay close. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you. I will catch you very soon on the next prayer.
